Oh crap....! 

  Her heart is pounding. She can’t even remember the last time she’d felt her pulse move this quick. The Phantom Thieves were meant to meet soon and she was already in HIS room on her laptop. She couldn’t help herself. Something about Akechi seemed off from the very start. Maybe it’s her anxiety that makes her nervous around people. Maybe that’s why she started to look into him. It wasn’t easy to find anything. But once she started digging deeper, her worries started to seem justified. 

  But the final nail in the coffin is in her hands right now. Akechi had arrived at Leblanc early. Once he saw that the others hadn’t arrived yet, he decided to go downstairs for coffee. He had been typing something on his phone when he entered the attic. And he put his phone down... And left it. Curiosity killed the cat. As soon as he was out of sight she took his phone and read everything. Messages, browser history, and each thing seemed to get worse. As a coward, Futaba almost wishes she wouldn’t have looked. Ignorance is bliss. Even if Akechi may be dangerous... In fight or flight situations, she’s always flight. 

  She sets the phone back down and hurries downstairs. She’s so focused on her perceived escape that she hardly notices that he probably sees her leaving. He probably says something. He probably REALIZES he messed up. And she’s out the door as the sun starts setting. Her legs shaking, her heart pounding. And she’s trying to go home. 

  But after she’s about halfway there, she looks behind her and sees the exact thing she prayed she wouldn’t. Goro Akechi trying to catch up to her. 

  “Oh... Uh... Akechi... I thought. Aren’t you waiting for the others?”

  he commented rather care-freely. he sounded arrogant without meaning to, but it was a little quirk the Phantom Thieves had come to accept. his bluntness was something that came almost naturally, sometimes it was good that he doesn’t sugarcoat anything. however, to many that don’t know Akira Kurusu, he’s only given them the impression that he was some dangerous delinquent. 

 “Really? You don’t seem like a scientist.” 

  It’s not meant to be disrespectful. In fact, she respects Akria more than he knows. But she’s always been unfiltered when it comes to her words. She’s either silent out of fear or speaking without thinking. What a strange girl. Regardless, his attitude doesn’t bother her. She enjoys speaking to him, after all. He’s not fake like a lot of other people.
