I love your headcanon!!! especially how sokka wants to share..abt his conference with her and toph is listening fo it carefully too.. Also inloved the matured look on their faces good one!! 😍

Though Toph would have no problem spending a day without having to hear Sokka’s voice(canon pun intended), when he comes back from week long conferences on Spacecraft Survivability in the natural debris environment near the stable Earth-moon Langrage points, she loves to listen to the whole presentation even though she may not understand a word of it! And Sokka, he knows very well that she will never admit that she cared, but her enthusiasm tells him that she did miss him. Maybe even a lot.💜

Because growing up doesn’t mean growing apart when it comes to best friends.💚💙

Looking back in time, Sokka wonders if there was something he always felt for Toph. Meanwhile, Toph finds a drowned piece of her heart float towards the surface of the ocean again. The questions are different, the answers are the same: whenever I’m near you, I feel something that I can’t explain.❤️

P.s. the reason why Toph’s on a cycle is because she refuses to believe there’s anything she can’t do. That’s why Sokka holds her in time before she falls and cracks that huge head open. 💜
