12. Final reflection
This year was full of fun times, trial and error, mistakes, and growth, but I am grateful for every moment.
This year was a mix of fun times, challenges, and mistakes. I worked hard on my SWOT analysis, focusing on my strengths and weaknesses, especially my anxiety, which has improved since the beginning of the year. I felt a range of emotions from excitement and joy to frustration and anxiety, but overall, I feel grateful for the experiences. Building a network in school and recognizing the importance of a supportive learning environment motivated me to keep going, even when things got tough. I really felt encouraged by the support from my peers and it motivated to improve myself academically and personally. The essence of my year was about personal growth and building a supportive network.
I also experimented with different study techniques and worked on improving my time management. Although I faced obstacles with deadlines, I kept trying new methods to see what works best for me. I felt determined to find effective study strategies and aware of the need to manage my time better. I still didn't find the perfect study method but I feel optimistic about the future and committed to continuing my personal and academic growth.
In summary, this year taught me a lot about myself and the importance of a supportive environment. I've made progress in managing my anxiety and building a network, and I will keep working on my weaknesses, especially time management, to overcome future challenges.
Action plan year 2:
I am planning to first and foremost pass all my retakes in August so I can have a fresh start in my second year. I’ve heard that the modules will be quite different from this year, so I will make it a priority to stay on top of them and not fall behind. My biggest focus, however, will be on my language studies. I feel like I am behind in Chinese, so I want to dedicate my summer to really studying it. This way, I can ensure it doesn't become a bigger issue at the beginning of the school year. Additionally, I’ve heard that next year will involve a lot of networking opportunities, which I am quite excited about. Building connections and expanding my professional network is something I look forward to, and I plan to make the most out of these opportunities. Overall, I am excited for a productive and successful year ahead.

9. Reflection workshops
Participating in the workshops was a lot of fun, and everyone put in effort to make them successful. Personally, presenting my workshop was enjoyable, but working with my group had its challenges. Some members didn't contribute much, making me take on most of the communication and planning. Despite this, our workshop turned out well, and I'm happy with the result. I just wish my team had contributed more, so I didn't have to handle all the effort and planning on my own. It was a learning experience, and I hope for better teamwork in the future. In the future I will definitely make more boundaries and really push some members to participate or there will be consequences such as having a talk with a teacher, because it is unfair.
One of the first workshops I attended was organized by Team 5. I didn’t know my classmates well yet, so I was excited to interact and learn more about them. The workshop stood out to me because of the variety of personalities in the group. I remember feeling being curious about getting to know everyone and gaining insights into my classmates and myself.
I felt eager to engage and learn from the different perspectives within the group. It helped me learn more about myself in the process. I actively participated in the workshop and took the time to interact with different group members, which helped me get to know them better. This experience taught me the value of different perspectives and the importance of building connections with classmates.

8. Reflection first semester
Introduction: My first semester at school was full with new experiences. Using the Korthagen reflection model, I want to share my first semester.
Positive Experiences: Making friends in my class was a real highlight. It brought joy to learning and created a supportive environment. I also had just a very bad year and my new friends really helped me ift my spirits up. Being art of the student council also really helped me with this. While most classes went smoothly, the language courses posed a challenge, pushing me to study harder.
Motivation: The energy of engaging classes and the encouragement from friends helped me. Their support helped my determination to overcome obstacles, especially in the tougher subjects such as Chinese and law.
Essence: Looking back, my semester really was about building connections and facing challenges, particularly in language classes. It taught me a lot of discipline.
Strategy: I found enrichment in extracurricular activities like joining the student council. Developing effective study habits and seeking help when needed were important keys to navigating through my challenges.
Integration: As I integrated into my classgroup I formed a lot of friendships and deveeloped leadership skills. Balancing academic strategies with daily routines became crucial for me because I work a lot and this balance ws really important to me.
Overall I learned a lot this semester and formed a lot of important friendships. I blossomed into someone who is willing to make more connections and has a lot of motivation even though it was sometimes difficult to maintain this motivation.

7. Reflection report
Reflecting on Test 1 ICS Using the Korthagen Method
What: Studying for the test was tough and the questions were harder than expected, but my past college experiences helped me understand what to expect. I expected a really difficult test.
Motivation: I felt pretty confident in my preparation so that realy kept me going, even when the test was unexpectedly difficult.
Strategy: Despite taking good notes, feeling tired really impacted how well I did, making me realize I need to focus on better rest and study habits since I really like studying late
Integration: Understanding how my tiredness affected my performance showed me the importance of preparing, while forgetting material emphasized the need for a good study.

6. Summary
Change is something that always happens in organizations, and at some point, managers will need to make changes in how things work. These changes are called organizational changes. There are different types of changes: - Changing Structure: This means making adjustments in how people in charge work together, how tasks are organized, and how jobs are designed. For instance, rearranging work groups, giving more power to employees, or making tasks less specialized are all types of structural changes. - Changing Technology: This involves doing things differently or using new tools at work. For example, using computers for work processes and tasks. - Changing People: This is about making adjustments in how employees think and act. It could mean introducing a new way of serving customers or making teams more creative. Real-life examples of these changes include the Mayo Clinic rethinking its system, AT&T and Lowe's adapting to new competition, and Southwest Airlines investing a lot of money to improve its operations with new technology. When it comes to making these changes happen, there are people called "change agents" who take on the responsibility. These could be managers inside the organization or non-managers like specialists or consultants from outside. There are two ways to think about how change happens: - The "Calm Waters" way sees an organization like a big ship in a calm sea. Changes are like occasional storms, a bit disruptive but not constant. Kurt Lewin's three-step process involves getting ready for change, making the change, and then making sure the new way sticks. - The "White Water" way, illustrated by Susan Whiting's experience, compares an organization to a small raft in a fast river. Here, change is ongoing and needs continuous effort to manage

4. A and B objectives
A objectives
Obtaining my degree: I need to study good for all my classes and pass all my exams. In my third year I will need to write a good Bachelor's thesis and work hard at my internship.
Going to South Korea in my third year: I will need good grades this year and next year which means that I have to study a lot. This is so I can get higher on the ‘list’ and my chance of being one of the first ones to choose their destination will increase. I also have to start saving money. I’m working every week and am saving 20 euros every week + I will work in the summer so I can have a good amount of money.
Being financially stable: Obtain my degree and find a good job.
Not procrastinating: Setting a planning and following it. Because of that I will not have the chance to procrastinate.
B objectives
Buying luxury clothes: I need to study hard so I can obtain my degree. After this, I must find a good job and work hard. I’ll also have to save so I can buy these type of clothes.
Travel to an expensive country: After my studies, I need to find a good job and I will have to save. After a couple of months of saving money, I can look at the possibilities of travelling abroad. I also must plan this wisely, so I don’t lose a lot of money.
Go to a lot of concerts: I have to look at the tour dates of the artists that I want to see live and simultaneously save money because concerts can be quite expensive. I’ll also have to buy tickets for the concerts and sometimes tickets to travel to another country because there are not a lot of concerts in Belgium of my favorite artists.
Moving abroad: I want to find an internship abroad and work very hard there so that they will offer me a contract. After this I can slowly settle into the country.
