asdkasdjsf rewatching Thronecoming and Cedar's "urgh" at Milton during the Storybook of Legends reveal. Girl had no time for his bullshit and good for her.
I still love the fact that it very much looks like they were half way through their go-fish game before someone actually asked about Cedar's glasses.
But her "urgh". New favourite moment.

Hear me out, HEAR ME OUT-
What If ...
Wolf: Hey Reddie?
Red: Mm?
Wolf: Does your grandmother have one of these "Oh what a misfortune, my dear husband had just mysteriously died and left me with lots of money and a mansion" nightgown?
Red: ... what?
Wolf: You know, one of these lavish long nightgowns with fluffy sleeves that rich widows wear in murder mystery shows? What are the chances that you can get me one of those to wear when we do our story?
Red: Why do you need that?
Wolf: Well Huntsman has been annoying me with how his destiny is to be a hero and I'm the big bad villain and how he will kill me and blah blah blah. So I decided to mess with him a little bit during our story and I think it would be pretty funny to ruin his little heroic moment-
Red: what color?
Wolf: What?
Red: What color do you want your nightgown to be?
Wolf: :D
So then you have the huntsman just bargain in the grandmother's house prepared to save Red from the big bad wolf and find Wolf in this

Huntsman is confused as fuck
Wolf is giving it his best performance trying to flutter huntsman as much as possible
Red is trying really fucking hard not to burst out laughing
And grandma is in the closet not having a clue about what is going on
lol

Reading The Storybook of Legends.
Paragraph is spent with Cerise existing, the Three Little Pigs (who are unnamed) bumping into her, screaming and locking themselves in a classroom. Ducking down so their little faces aren't seen. And like...one, that's hilarious to me as the reader.
But in-universe? Anxiety-inducing for everyone involved. The pigs I'll explain below.
Cerise because she has to hide the fact she's part wolf. And imagine doing everything you can including sleeping with your hood on because your roommate is someone who CANNOT lie. Even by omission. Even if they wanted and desperately wished they could.
But there's at least three students who keep revealing exactly that by running away instinctively every time they notice you.
Literally every time Cerise and The Three Little Pigs share the same space, they reveal exactly who her father is. Now to the pigs: Do the pigs know that is what their instincts are telling them? Or do they think they just have this really weird and niche phobia and every time afterwards, they're like damn, what the fuck. We need to get this under control lads/gals. This is embarrassing.
The pigs in therapy* trying to overcome this stupidly embarrassing phobia they have because omg, they need to stop. It's Cerise Hood. They have zero reasons to be scared of her**.
*ignore the fact that EAH world most likely does not have therapy.
**Totally HCing that the one pig that agreed to be Apple White's Evil Queen for that one webisode is the one that realises it's not a phobia because it's completely rational for a pig to be afraid of a wolf. Also I'm HCing that that pig is the one that gets his house blown down first.

In light of the smoke bombs, I'm now recataloguing some of my previous assumptions [or well, hcs I guess] in this world.
Mainly because when I first read the fact that Cerise's hood enabled her to hide in the shadows, I was like yeah, okay make sense, they're clearly going for Cerise-is-wolf thing here so. Shadowy-cloak makes sense and I simply thought it was isolated to Cerise's hood.
But...the smoke bombs makes me wonder. Did Red just...already have a shadowy cloak?
That she passed down to Cerise?
Why you have a shadowy-cloak, Red? What possible use did you have for it if it wasn't for hiding bodies?
Deciding to go home and read these books has just left me with two thoughts.
One: Confused but intrigued on the lore.
Two: Red is a serial killer.

Man, Red is so shady, she gives her daughter a basket with a password and a hood that can blend with the shadows and we're not supposed to think this woman knows how to hide a body?

"Poor Grandma sat forever in the closest waiting to be rescued , but Baddy and I didn't want the moment to end, so we made up more and more things to say. " [few sentences later] "But I...well, I'd learned a few things at Ever After High and I, er, dropped a smoke bomb. And yelled ' "But I...well, I'd learned a few things at Ever After High and I, er, dropped a smoke bomb. And yelled 'Fire.'" - Red from Unfairest Of Them All
Well, one, Red made up more and more things to say because it's kinda reliant on Red saying the whole "what big teeth you have" to get attacked.
So...Red's Grandma definitely side-eyed Red afterwards but probably said nothing because this is this poor woman's third time in this damn story and was probably like...ya know what, that's her and her mother's problem. I've done my three roles, if Red wants to be a weirdo and save a Wolf, fine. Won't be my problem.
But also
"But I...well, I'd learned a few things at Ever After High and I, er, dropped a smoke bomb. And yelled ' "But I...well, I'd learned a few things at Ever After High and I, er, dropped a smoke bomb. And yelled 'Fire.'" ... "I always carry a couple in my baskets."
Umm...what...
Okay so Red has definitely hidden a body before. Probably responsible for a few disappearances. Listen, I know she says like a sentence after it's for protection but it's not just the words, it's the entire structure of revealing the fact she had a smoke bomb handy that day.
Like I get probably not a great thing for her be telling a teenager she just met that yes, she did marry her villain. But she already is telling this teenager she married him and since apparently the Wolf in RRH is supposed to die in this world. Not that much of a leap to assume Red was responsible for the wolf surviving.
It's just suspicious. Not sorry, I'm sticking with my Red-has-totally-hidden-a-body theory here.
ALSO ALSO.
"With his ax. And he was supposed to kill Baddy, just kill him right there."
What.
The RRH story in EAH takes place the day after graduation. Bad Wolf spent his entire schooling knowing that once graduation happens, he's dead. Doesn't even get a day just not being a student. Nope. Graduation Day, more like Death Day.
That's fucked.
Now I'm thinking does it happen in the afternoon or the morning? I don't even know which one would be worse.
The grandmother isn't even harmed! Like Red knew her grandmother was tied up in a closet which implies the wolves just shove the grandma in the closet once they get there [either that or Red was really...freaky...that day].
Like I knew EAH worldbuilding was fucked because you can't have this premise and have it not be a fucked up world. But...I also thought it would have an asterisk beside any fairytales that end with a character's death. Because, you know, next gen of fairytale is supposed to repeat their parent's role so the prev. gen kinda needs to live in order to do that.
But no.
So if the huntsman is supposed kill the Wolf in this world...how the fuck do they get the next gen Wolf? Do they encourage wolves to have teen pregnancies so they can get the next wolf before the current one is killed? Do they just pick them?
Oh...
..Wait, do other villains/characters-that-meant-to-die are also...meant to die in this world? Or is specifically because EAH's RRH has the huntsman? But even then, rescuing RRH and Granny from the wolf doesn't necessarily require killing so how do they get the next wolf?
And also the huntsman is an added-on character in that fable that kinda fucks up with the original moral of the story. This has just left me with nothing but questions.
And the belief that Cerise's mum has 100% hidden a body. Everything about that was suspicious, I'm sticking by this theory.

Scout Paper-Mario-Wiki Needs Help
Hey all. It's gotten bad for me.
Me, and the people I care about the most, need to leave the country, and I can no longer rely on my full time job to provide me with the funds I need to do so. This is not a matter of comfort for us, it is a matter of survival, and I don't say that lightly.
I do not feel good asking for this much assistance, but I need it, and will be doing whatever I can to make it happen.
For the first time in 4 years, I'll be opening up voice acting commissions, and I've also started a fundraising campaign.
If you'd like to support me, please click any of the links below.
Chuffed campaign
Donate on cashapp
Donate on paypal
Email me for a commission at [email protected] (starting at $100 for short jobs, willing to negotiate if the commission is especially small. I'm also more than willing to do non-voice-acting work if you have something else you know I can do for you.)
Pay-what-you-want for my music
Thank you very much for reading, and thank you for your help.

Urgent appeal to save a child Dear friends💔👩🏻🍼
I am writing to you today from the heart of war, where my child was recently born in extremely difficult circumstances. I do not have enough money to provide for his basic needs, such as a coder, milk, and clothes. I need your urgent help to save my child from this war and save his life. Every small donation from you will help me provide for his basic needs.

It JUST hit me that since Ever After High & the original DC Super Hero Girls ran at the same time, that means in this ONE particular instance, Amanda Waller was NOT the most reprehensible authority figure in a series!

my favourite sub genre in the eah books is: "pov character has a conversation with Raven in which she appears mentally stable".
my second favourite sub genre is "headmaster Grimm making it explicitly clear that she is his least favourite student"

So remember back in the first EAH book Raven and Apple go to visit some guy who I think was Old Man Winter to ask advice, but he actually turned out to be Milton in disguise?
So....what happened to the real Old Man Winter?
