Em: A wild streak? Oi oi, that sounds saucy! Spill the beans, what have you two crazy lovebirds been up to? 👀 Vaylrian is so much fun and I promise we'll start simple. For example, kessa = yes and daor = no. I hope one day, when Wills is King, we'll have a Christmas message delivered in High Valyrian 🙊😂

Catherine: You want to read about it and not hear it? LOL. He has been keen on "practicing" for another baby, something about the shower really get him. No matter how many times I tell him we could slip and fall! Though it's probably one of the safest places to have some alone time, the door to the bathroom has a lock 😂

Catherine: Cheeky things too; practically eating my face - among other things any chance he gets. I joke that he's going through a second puberty. If he won't slip in a phrase or two, I'll highjack his message and wish everyone a happy christmas in High Valyrian!

I think I just got charmed again without you even trying here, Cate.” he chuckled a little bit at her last comment. “ You’re too kind to me.  that’s usually how that works especially with Whiskey. I’m just wondering, who got you into this whiskey shots? “ he questioned, clearly curious it wasn’t a drink that he pegged her for having usually. “ Well there was one drink, I’ve been curious to try and who better to try it with then you! it’s basically called a snake bite and no, no snakes are going to bite us, I promise.” he mused before looking over at Catherine, to see what she said.

“A group of friends from my uni days tried to get me to drink it. It wasn’t until my first night out with Harry that it wasn’t awful, sugar instead of salt.” The Duchess smiled, “I usually have a packet or two of sweetener in my purse. You never know when you might need it, and bars in London don’t make it a habit to carry it.” Her eyebrow arched at the drink’s name and she pressed her lips together. “Who’s job is it to come up with names like that?” Catherine wondered out loud, pausing for a moment. “All right. Let’s try it. Don’t tell me what’s in it until after we drink it.”

Thankfully when dropping the kids off at school, Catherine no longer had a handful of eyes (and cameras) watching her. So when she found out Brandon was in town, she insisted that he see her Back to Nature garden. The Duchess was dressed down, jeans and a local pub sweatshirt, her hair tied back, tucked under a baseball cap. She snuck in through the side entrance and walked through small groups of people before she spotted him up in the treehouse. Catherine climbed the ladder with a smile, “boo!” She said in a semi-hushed tone.

Y’know, I’m not much of a painter but I could only imagine what my painting would look like after drinking some wine… yikes. Or perhaps I’m secretly Picasso, I just need a little help from wine to really show off my artistic abilities. Oh, right, the wine train journey! So elegant, goodness, I just love it here. If I didn’t have to go straight back to filming, I would extend my stay here for about.. another month.

I’m not too bad, though I can only compare anything to what I do with my children. Please tell me you spent your last day doing something exciting! I’m sad we were not able to do a proper activity together, I’ll put in a request to be your roomie again.

 A soft chuckle escaped his lips. “ you are far too kind to me, honestly.” he admitted before hugging her back. “ Yeah yeah, sounds like a deal. “ he agreed before leading her over to an empty table and pulling her seat out. “ You have no idea, how excited I got when I heard you were on the trip.” he admitted with a small shrug of his own shoulder and walked over to sit in the seat across from her. “ So, How was your shot of Whiskey earlier? still feeling a bit adventurous?” He asked her with a small smirk capturing on his face.

"Thank you." Catherine grinned and sat down, immediately crossing her ankles out of habit. "Really? I was quite excited to hear you were here, what better way to catch up than over some good wine? - It was, tingly." She giggled and tipped her head. "I am, did you have something in mind?"

 It took a while to find the right bar that his friend was actually at, but when he finally caught her in the crowd of people, the male automatically made his way over to Kate. A smile appearing on his face as he tapped her shoulder to get her attention. “ Well hello there,” he spoke with a small chuckle escaping his lips. “ You look like you are already having a good time.” honestly though, it was good to be able to hang out with a friend and just let lose for the night. He had missed her company so the moment he knew she was around, he had to come to see her.

Glancing over her shoulder, a huge smile broke out onto The Duchess’s face. It had been what felt like forever since she had seen Miles last so to hear he was also on the trip made her happy, excited to have the option to spend some quality time with the young actor again. “Hello!” Catherine shrugged with a little laugh, “I’ll be having more fun now that you’re here.” She slid off her barstool, pressing her cheek against his as a greeting before hugging him. “Let’s go find a table, yeah?”

Pretty sure no one will ever believe me, y’know, the whole ‘pics or it didn’t happen’ myth. Such a shame. Oh, I do tend to get a ‘lil wild, ‘specially if wine is involved.. but, I’m gonna keep it cool around you. I can’t be out here making myself look like a fool in front of you! I’ll never forgive myself. D’aww, that’s so sweet! Is that giant goof of yours around here for the weekend, too or did he stay back home? 

I might be able to bend the no selfie rule, as long as you swear on your life you won’t post it anywhere or send to someone that would. My media team does not need to see that, I’ll go back home to a very angry Queen. Let loose! I plan on doing a bit myself. It’s just me, he’s home with the kiddies being hot dad.

arin’s eyes went a bit wide when he finally realized who she was. holy shit. did he just take a shot with the duchess, the future queen of england?! trying to watch his language, arin smiled back at her, settling into his seat. “ah, see? i hate wine. i wish i liked it, since y’know, that’s like.. the thing here.” he chuckled lightly, watching the bartender pour him a glass of whiskey. “i’m arin by the way. it’s uh, nice to meet you.. duchess of cambridge.” he extends his hand out to her, “or uh, queen. future queen.”

“It’s not for everyone. Lucky for you there are places around that get that.” She smiled and shook his hand with a chuckle. “Nice to meet you too Arin. Please call me Catherine, or Kate. There is no need for titles, we’re on a mini vacation!” Catherine reassured him before ordering another shot for herself, tucking her hair behind her ear. “Think there will be whiskey at the party tomorrow? Or will you be the only sober one?”
