In my mind I knew it as “I would be happier as a girl.”

I only learned trans people existed as an adult.

said this before and i will say it again but i think its a bit silly people expect transgender children to explain exactly what gender means to them using language and concepts that grown-up cis people are never expected to learn in their lifetime

It's never been about protecting children or women's rights (which conservatives have never cared about) or bathrooms or sports or schools.

It's about making sure that transgender people are not legally equal to cisgender people, that we know we have fewer right, that we are less than human.
