That’s our Sabrina!!!

Sabrina is a long-time alt-J superfan and a member of alt-J Losers, the best alt-J fan group on the internet. And she did such a good job interviewing Gus here! I love this interview because it’s so different from the usual press tour interviews that barely get to scratch the surface most of the time. I wish more publications would do things like this or at least take their interview questions from fan submissions. And Sabrina’s not geeking out or gushing too much here! She really is a natural. Definitely worth a watch when you have a minute.

magical moments at alt-j in chicago 6/7/18

bonding with the rest of the barrier over the cold since the venue was on an island

in 3WW, at "girls from the pool say hi" the barrier waved and said hi, and joe definitely cracked a smile

a tour photog taking a photo of me and mj with our rainbow flag over the barrier

hearing pleader in the cold wind, with the smoke blowing around onstage and making everything ethereal and strange

adeline's lights looking like they were underwater, and the kid next to me looking like he'd never seen anything so beautiful

thom putting a towel around his shoulders for a moment because of the cold

the bridge in dissolve me, with everyone wailing along with joe as the lines of line across the stage grew and grew

singing matilda as a crowd

singing the end of breezeblocks as a crowd, and joe's excitement about it
