In Super Mario 64, the "Stand Tall on the Four Pillars" star in Shifting Sand Land requires Mario to touch the top of each of the four pillars surrounding the pyramid. After he touches the fourth pillar, the top of the pyramid levitates while spinning rapidly and then explodes.

Normally, this happens too quickly for the player to be able to interact with the top of the pyramid before it explodes. However, if the player uses a Koopa Shell for this task, Mario can in fact quickly jump towards the pyramid to surf towards the top.

This reveals that surprisingly, the top still has collision while spinning, despite this object clearly not being intended to be interacted with in this state. This can lead to the humorous scenario shown in the footage: Mario becomes caught on a corner of the spinning top and finally thrown directly onto the "Shining Atop the Pyramid" star, collecting it and exiting the level despite the player's actual aim being to enter the hole left behind by the top exploding.

As such, caution must be exercised to not approach the top before it explodes.

i've been watching a bunch of tos lately and we all know by now that kirk isn't the suave ladies man pop culture says he is, but nobody ever talks about how grumpy he is all the time. my guy is constantly nursing a migraine and barely managing to not tell everyone who isn't on his senior staff to fuck right off.

it's funny that Michael Burnham was charged with mutiny, pleaded guilty during a court martial, and was stripped of rank with a life sentenced prison. But Jack Jr Crusher was a wanted criminal on numerous worlds under a lot of aliases. He willingly went to the Borg Queen and he assimilated thousands of people and seems responsible for potentially millions of deaths. How was he prosecuted? He was placed in an accelerated program of Starfleet. And yet people still say that Michael Burnham doesn't deal with any consequences of the choices she made, that according to the writers she's always right, she's Mary-Sue... Those very same people who want a whole show about Jack Crusher. A boring character who was never challenge by the narration.
