There are many ways to cope with emotions and every persons holds and handles them differently. While some may bottle them, it ends up causing a worse outcome in the end. If the situation is active, bottling emotions may be alright but they must be expressed in some way.
Many people use art as an escape, some rip paper into small pieces that are barely recognizable, some cry because they hold too much they have no other way to express with.
Every person has a different way that works for them and it is all a matter of finding what truly works for you. What works for some may not work for others.
I would recommend talking about it with either the cause or causes of a close group of people you have that you can either vent to or ask advice from.
I do hope that you have found some comfort since posting, and Google will be here for any more questions.

In response to your tags, yes, you are able to become “addicted” to Tumblr notes. The attention you received is what is the object you wish to receive.
While it may not seem addictive, this is a small example of why social media is so addictive as it draws attention and causes dopamine rushes leaving people wanting and craving more.
I realize now,, I may be very susceptible to praise..
A few days ago, I had a sudden spike of notes where I obtained 64 in one hour (definitely the highest anyone's ever gotten, obv), and now I haven't gotten one since midnight, and I feel needy. (I am not begging for notes, but I now realize, I may have a slight eagerness to please.)

hey google? how do i restart my emotions? mine stopped a while ago and i don't know how to function anymore
This one is hard. I apologize for the wait but I wanted to take the time to gather my thoughts and respond in a way that would be helpful.
Remind yourself that it is ok for you to feel numb. It is ok to feel however you're feeling. Take the time to ground yourself. Meditation, yoga, journaling, etc.
Taking the time to watch your favourite videos or watch try not to laugh videos. Watch something that stimulates your emotions and take deep breaths and focus on how you are allowed to feel and respect yourself.
Writing what happens and things you think can be helpful, but emotion charting is one of the most helpful for regaining emotions. Record if you feel happy, sad, anything other than numb and emotionless. Whatever you feel is ok. Please know that.
You can get them back and respect and love yourself and everything between them. You can do this. I know it.

hey google? every time i get better, someone from my past suddenly reappears and i get dragged a tiny bit back to my past. how can i make it stop?
I understand that way to well. It happens to me (the mod) as well. I know that it hurts, and really, it depends on the type of person they were. One way would be to write down what happened. Write it down and take a deep breath.
Look at it and read it as though someone is telling you this and write down how you think someone else would feel-it'll likely be the same way you feel.
What advice would I give you to help heal from their hurt? Well, try to accept what happened. I understand that it can be hard and you don't have to forgive them at first but work on accepting that it happened. If you accept it, you can start the process of forgiving them and healing.
You then need to forgive yourself because you can't forgive them without yourself. You deserve love and respect. You don't need to think you deserve anything less than acceptance.
If you'd like, I can find more research and advice from licensed therapists but hopefully this was a good start at the very least! <3

so, if you can find a building, go there and find someone who looks older like they work there. joke around to get a bit more comfortable and perhaps make a little “so since google maps failed me,” to lighten the mood
ask a question on where you should go! also you probably won’t see them again if it’s a large campus if your anxiety is high
