I couldn't find it anywhere on y'all's carrd or in recent posts, so i was curious as to if people contributing art/voice acting/programming/ etc are getting paid for this, or if its just a volunteer type situation!

Not meant with any sort of negative intent either way, I just wanted to be fully clear before I consider applying too much more.

Good question! This is entirely fan-run, and in order to keep in accordance of laws surrounding transformative fanwork, contributors will not be financially compensated. 🍎🐝

The Hey, Girlie! mod team unequivocally supports a liberated Palestine and the Palestinian resistance to genocide by the zionist entity. 

We hope that Dropout will continuously uphold antiracist and antizionist policies. 

A post-game digital bonus bundle, including (in addition to art and writing) a making-of zine, will be made available to people who provide proof of direct donation to Palestinians up until one month after the game’s release date. Contributors will be able to opt in to creating content for this bundle. We will additionally be integrating the FHsonas of those who donate $75 (USD) or more before December 31, 2024, into a background for the game.

If you are not sure where to find Palestinian fundraising campaigns, Operation Olive Branch, GazaFunds.com, and Connecting Humanity (eSims for Gaza) are good places to start. For proof of donation, screenshot the receipt, making sure that the campaign, date, and time are visible.
