Thoughts on Marie Ravensoul.

So If you haven’t heard of it already, Marie Ravensoul a popular theistic satanist author who makes YouTube videos and art, recently left the internet and pulled back her books from Amazon and deleted her channel. She left without any reason onto why. A few weeks ago in late June. She posted on an account with her face on it saying how she converted back to Christianity and goes on to make several video onto why satanism and the occult is evil and how she regrets making those videos and teaching people theistic satanism. Note that she was first a Christian and then became a theistic satanist only to be a Christian again. Many of Marie’s fan and close friends were distraught by this news and a lot of people are mad at her. Now what is my thoughts and opinions? I personally was shock by this because I wouldn’t have expected it from her the person who made videos on “deconstructing Christianity” and “how to get over the fear of hell” when you reach the point in your journey where you’ve learned the truth about the Abrahamic faiths, it’s rare you go back to it, at least in the forms of religion. I’m not saying however you can’t as I have seen some LhP and satanic people turn to the RHP and work with angels and Yahweh. But this is her going back into the toxic Christian when she’s “deconstructed” her old faith. I’m not mad at Marie but I would love for her to explain on what was the process like for her when she thought Christianity was right for her. I personally think there are a lot of factors to why she converted. When people grow old and age the fear of death and the afterlife really gets to you. After all Christianity is all about death and whatever comes next but I think that fear of hell really got to her because truly deep down she didn’t deconstruct for shit unironically she made a video on getting over the fear but now fears it. Now this goes to deconstructing her faith because she’s known what real occultism is like and how Christianity is made of lies and yet goes back to it. I think this is a byproduct of her not really understanding what she is doing. Although she may think she’s fully broken down her old faith deep down it’s still roaring at her that it’s real. My friend told me also that when you try to let spirituality and religion find who you are and your sense of self, and when it fails to do so you go religion hopping which isn’t right. You yourself have to find who you are, religion and spirituality may help but it can’t completely make up for anything you are.
