does anyone else have those moments where they just fall in love with being alive? like, maybe you’re in art class with soft music and you realize that this peaceful feeling is a part of life that you love and you want to just keep forever, and there are so many other parts of life too that are so wonderful and maybe existing isnt so bad after all

Can someone tell me why statues are the new thing to be offended by? I understand That they represent a darker side of American history during the time of slavery but 1. It's history and we're meant to learn from it and move on and 2. there are much better causes you could be putting your energy into, like building homes for the homeless, or helping at a food pantry, you know if you're willing to go stand for hours and yell about taking down an old statue then you can go take time from your day and help around your community to ACTUALLY make the world a better place one good deed at a time, go build a house, give some food, even donate a dollar to a charity that will help this dark and bleary world not the removal of a statue. (Sorry not sorry for this rant but it grinds my gears because it's so stupid)
