I FOUND SOMETHING INTERESTING IN THE ORIGINAL VERSION OF MIRACLE MASK!

Got my hands on a Japanese 3DS and I found something really cool about the Japanese version of Miracle Mask! I was playing around with my Japanese copy of Miracle Mask and I found out that originally there was a street pass feature that was left out of other regional versions.

This cut feature from other versions includes this which is your "Puzzle Profile". The Puzzle Profile gives you a randomly generated title that you can eventually change to your liking. You're given only a few titles that you can choose from and you can unlock more by finding a certain amount of hint coins.

This is the icon that you can get when you have unlocked a new title to use.

You can unlock other things you can use to customize your puzzle profile with using play coins. The main things you can buy with play coins are character icons, frames, menu layouts, and wallpapers. Character icons are 5 play coins and the other three are worth 3 play coins.

Here's an example of some of the character icons you can get. There's more icons to choose from and they range from previous animal companions/npcs, iconic vehicles/places, recognizable npcs who are Granny Riddleton and Stachenscarfen, Luke's teddy bear, and some of the parade people.

This is an example of the many wallpapers you can get and it's my personal favorite out of them. I absolutely adore seeing the little chibi sprites in this. My favorite part of this wallpaper is seeing Luke smiling happily as he's spending time with Professor Layton.

Here's an example of the many menu layouts you can use. I like this one in particular as you can see some of the main characters.

I plan on posting more on this topic since there's so much to cover and show to you guys. I'll make sure to show more of the wallpapers, icons, and menu layouts in separate posts. I'll even show off the many frames as well.
