Tradition pt.2 (Birthday's)

Birthdays in the Hermes cabin are a vary special occasion. It doesn't matter what day of the year the birthday falls on, or were the birthday child is in the world all of the kids of the Hermes cabin will come together to celebrate with them. 

When it comes to gifts the Hermes kids give gifts with lots of meaning to the recipercent. Wether it be a lost hair loom or a visit from a friend from far away that they haven't seen in years. 

And Everytime one of his kids have a birthday Hermes will stop by, most times he won't join the festivities but he will always leave a gift with a card. He never signs it but they always know it's from him.

How are children of Hermes with losing things? Or with trying to find those things?

They lose things left and right, it’s a problem. Athena cabin tried to help them but quickly realized it was a lost cause. Depending on who lost the thing they will ether tare apart the camp like animals and deni all accusations of having lost something or accept the fact it’s lost and go on with there life.

Things always show up but in the weirdest places. Including Pockets of other campers, Kentucky, Alaska, Bottom of the lake, Mt. Olympus, and France. No one knows how they get there.

Bad Ideas

Connor sat on his bed looking at the paper in front of him. After a particular bed argument between him and Alina about something he had already forgotten, a prank civil war was issued. 

Connor already had Travis, Alice, Julia, Demeter, and Aphrodite cabins on his side Alina had The rest of Cabin 11 and Ares, Hades and Apollo cabins on her side. Both were trying to persuade Posiden and Athena cabins. Both seemed annoyed with the whole thing but Connor was sure he could get Percy to agree to an alliance if he pulled off this next prank perfectly. 

It was a simple prank nothing too serious. It was definitely not his style of prank but it was Alina’s. At breakfast, Percy's special blue pancakes would be filled with glitter. Percy would, of course, think it was Alina who did it and join his side.

It was petty but could very easily turn this thing around. Besides Alina had already had Nico make a marching band of skeletons to follow him around, covered his entire bed with glitter glue and many more annoying pranks.

All he had managed to do was get her trapped in a hole for a day and convince her current girlfriend Lucy to Ignore her tell she admitted defeat. He had tried other things but she always managed to avoid them.

The sounds of distant yells told him that Percy had found the glitter in his food. Smiling he got out of bed as he retched the door it flew open. Having expected Percy he was shocked to see Lucy. She was a small girl like Alina only around five feet in height with long blond hair and pale skin she was extremely kind and it had been hard to convince her to ignore his sister. What really consigned him was the tears streaming down her face. 

“What’s wrong?” he asked the girl as he led her to one of the many chairs in the cabin. 

“Alina she, she, she dumped me,” she whispered as if she couldn’t believe it herself. Connor felt like his whole body shut down. His sister dumped the love of her life, was it because he had Lucy ignore her?

Shaking his head he turned to the girl “ Did she say why she dumped you.”

“She said that if I was going to ignore her because of a prank war she didn’t what to be with me.” It was his fault. Standing he quickly left to find Alina. She was at the Hades cabin talking with Nico, most likely planning her next prank. walking up to the porch he called to his sister. 

“Alina! what were you thinking!” retch the cabin he didn’t give her the chance to talk. “why would you every brack up with Lucy! she loves you more than anything. I get not liking the fact she was ignoring you I would be mad if Michel ignored me. You know what the prank wars off now go make up with lucy.” He expected her to look shooked by what he said but she looked smug. 

“We didn’t brack up. I told her to tell you that so you would call off the prank war.” shock, pride and a whole bunch of other emotions swelled inside him.

“You played me.” standing up Alina looked her older brother in the eyes.

“Never use my Girlfriend against me. Now if you’ll excuse me I promised her I’d help her with her new invention. Bye Nico.” walking in the direction of the Hephaestus cabin Connor could only stare at her. 

“she played me.”

Getting a date

Manson walked back to his cabin quickly. He had been in the Hypnos cabin hanging out with his crush Hank. The plan that night was to ask him out, but Manson chickened out. 

I mean how could he, Hank kept doing the cutest things. First, he greeted him with a hug and Manson could still remember how warm he was, and the entire time he kept this stupid half asleep smile of his face the one that makes Manson forget his own name. What was worse was that as he was about to tell him his felling he put his head on Mansons LAP! The poor boy almost passed out at that point. 

And now Manson walked back to his cabin alone and without a boyfriend. stepping into the cabin he saw that all his siblings were awake (except for Travis who was passed out on the floor). All of there heads snapped to him as he walked in. Keeping his head down he walked to his sister Alina. 

Flinging himself on to her bed he grabbed one of the many throw pillows she kept on her bed and screamed into it like a pathetic two-year-old. “you couldn't do it could you?” shaking his head he sat up and faced his younger sister. “Okay tell me why.”

“he was ... just so, so hot. When I got to his cabin he hugged me and he was so warm I never wanted it to end. Then we sat on his bed and talked and the whole time he smiled!”

“Oh no, he smiled.” being to lovestruck Manson didn’t notice the teasing tone Connor used. 

“it was the Sexiest smile ever you could tell he was half asleep but gods did it look hot, and his hair was all messy like he just woke up. He was wearing a t-shirt and pajama pants but boy does he know how to rock them. Ten the best part was as I was about to tell him he rested his head on my lap and looked up at me with his captivating blue eye and I melted.” At this point, the cabin was laughing at just how lovestruck this boy was.

“you are a true disaster Gay,” Julia told her brother as she got a pop from the stolen mini-fridge. “it’s a miracle he dosen’t know. you're almost as love-struck as Chris is when he looks at Clarissa.”  

“Shut up!” Throwing a pillow at his sister Chris looks at his brother “ you have to tell him at some point.” 

“I know I’ll tell him tomorrow.”

The sun shown throw the cabin windows waking most of the inhabitants except Manson who barely slept at all last night. sighing he reluctantly got out of bed. heading to the pavilion for breakfast he decided to do it then. 

It wasn’t hard to find Hank. He was a thin boy with a permanent bedhead that in Manson’s opinion make him look hot. Taping his shoulder Manson fought the urge to run. Turning around Manson could see his sparkling sky blue eyes that were half closed with sleep. they were close in hight but hank was still taller by a few inches. Noticing That it was Manson who taped his shoulder Hank gave him his signature half-asleep smile that makes Manson go weak in the knees.  

In a stake of panic Manson does the only thing he can think of and kisses him. It was only seconds but it felt like an eternity to Manson. Hanks lips were so soft and tasted like strawberries. pulling away Manson feels his whole body of fire. 

looking at Hank he sees that his eyes were wide open and all signs of sleep were gone. Feeling embraced Manson turns on his heels and sprints away as fast as his legs could take him. Going strat to the forest he finds Zeus’s fist.going over to Juniper's tree he sits at the base of it were Juniper joins him. 

Telling her what happened he didn’t notice the fact Hank was crossing the clearing toward him. “I kissed him! I kissed him! He’ll never talk to me again . oh gods what did I do.” looking up he finally Notices the fact the Hank was coming toward him. screaming he looks down at the ground and begins to cry a string of I’m sorry’s flowing from him. Hank finally retching him softly grabs his arm pulling him off the ground. Manson scared starts to back up still say I’m sorry, but before he could get too far Hank pulls him into a tight embrace. 

They stay like that for a long-time Manson still crying and Hank holding him tightly. slowly pulling away Hank cups Manson’s face wiping his tears he stares at the boy. Smiling Hank pulls him in for another much longer kiss. 

 The kiss was filled with years of emotions exploding. Hank tilted his head to deepen the kiss and pulled Manson closer by his waist. Manson who was exploding with happiness kissed back instantly and throws his arms around Hanks neck. 

 Pulling apart both boys were breathless. Softly putting his forehead against Manson’s he says the words Manson has long to hear for years, “ I love you.”

“So does this mean you’ll go on a date with me?” Manson asks with a smile. Chuckling Hank gives him a Quick kiss before answering.

 “Of course.”

Tears

"Alina what time is it?" Sofia asks her older sister, Hanging her head over the railing of the top of the bunk bed they shared.

"10:30. Why are you awake? Bedtime was two and a half hours ago."  Looking up at her sister Alina gives her a soft glare. 

"Can't sleep. Besides I what to stay up and wait for Manson like you." Climbing out of bed she sits on the bed next to her sister. " What are you doing? Looking at your stupid photo album again." 

"It's not stupid." Rolling her eyes Sofia takes the book from her sister. Looking at the page she see the picture she was looking at. It was of Alina who was six in the photo. She was dressed in a camp half blood shirt and jeans, her feet were bare and covered in dirt. Her brown hair was a mess with twigs and leaves in it. She was fast asleep on a older boy who Sofia didn't recognize. His back was to the ground and Alina was sprawled out on his chest like she fell on top of him. The boy didn't seam to care, one of his arms was wrapped around her waist keeping her in place the other under his head he seamed unbothered by Alina.  

"Who's the dude?" A moment of silence followed before she responded with a broken voice.

"Luke." Looking up Sofia realized that Alina was starting to cry. Not knowing what to do she checked the book at Connor who was on the other side of the room fast asleep. Waking up as the book collided with his head Connor fell off his bed. Looking over he seems to understand what was happening. 

Getting off the floor he walks over to his sisters. Sofia quickly get off the bed making sounds like she was going to vomit muttering stuff about feelings being gross. Half asleep Connor lays on the bed and opens his arms for Alina. Curling up to her brother she quickly cry's. 

Without words he holds his little sister. It wasn't the first time he got woken up to comfort Alina. She cried a lot at night when it was only her awake and Connor always woke up first to comfort her. Alina was the mom of cabin 11 she was always the one to take care of others, she had a big temper but a biggerr heart. Anytime someone else in the cabin was having a hard time she stepped in to help and take care of them, but she had trouble taking care of her self. Most of the time she ignored her feelings. 

As sobs began to fill the cabin Connor pulled her closer. Resting his chin on her head he told her it would be ok. Soon most of the cabin was awake. Slowly they all got out of there beds to see what was wrong with Alina. All except Travis who was still fast asleep. Chris who was next to his bed pulled Travis off and on to the floor with a thud.  He than woke up. 

Soon they were all around Alina's bed. In the Hermes cabin everyone was vary close and loved one another so if you cryed in the middle of the night you bet everyone would be there.

Tradition part 1

Once a week the entire cabin will sneak out and go to a fast food restaurant and order a whole bunch of food. Most of the time they eat it there but once in awhile they'll take it back to camp and have a small party in the cabin. 

They switch were they go every week and whenever they go to McDonald's Nico will join them. No matter were they go Hermes will always show up no matter what he looks like at the time everyone knows it's him.( Mostly because he always orders a large orange soda)

Turtle

In the Hermes cabin there's large ecosystem. Inside they have one sea turtle named Shelly and a tortes named Troy. All Hermes kids can talk to them both.

Shelly is vary sassy and gives them terrible dating advise to them most of them follow. 

Troy acts like a old grandpa who what's to be left alone.

Cabin11

On the out side it looks like a normal cabin with a large roofed porch. On the porch several wooden rocking chair sit on one side while the other side has a handmade swing bench. Inside the cabin is a lot newer, after a bad prank civil war they had to replace all the furniture. There are medal twin size bunk beds each bed has a different sheet set and comforter. On the small wall above each bed people hang up maps, pictures, and other things. Covering all the walls are pictures of everyone who has every been in the cabin along with posters and other random things. Several hammocks and random chairs and couches are placed in random places.

The floors have clothes, food and prank equipment covering most of it. Some floor boards you can pull up to find to-go bags and money.  There is a backroom were most of the prank planning happens. Right beside the door to the cabin is a plack with the names of all the dead who die while living in the cabin no matter what side they were on.

Cabin Members

Connor Stoll a total jokester, loves to tease/pick on siblings but will drop everything to comfort one of them, gives terrible advice.

Travis Stoll always pulling pranks, dense when it comes to emotional cues, Doesn't know how to handle crying people, deep sleeper (nothing will wake this boy).

Chris Rodriguez Best big brother, siblings always tease him about his relationship, Hates being woke up, Clostraphobic, Hates Halloween.

Cecil Markowitz sarcasm all the time, blows things up often, trips often as well, accident pron, always injured in some way, isn't as into pranks but will pull them off if asked. 

Julia Feingold loves purple, will do anything on a dare, bad with a weapon, amazing with traps, very energetic, Talks in her sleep. 

Alice Miyazawa most innocent looking, almost killed a guy on accident, Lesion but tries to hide it tell she meets Nico, shocked when she finds out only two people in her cabin are strat. 

Alina Mateescu unofficial mother of cabin 11, bad temper, rare to see a photo of her not flipping the camera off, Bi, Romanian, lives on a dragon sanctuary, loves glitter bombs, came to camp at 5 and is five years younger than Percy, no one believes she's so young, tattoos.  

Paul german, def, has hearing adds but never wears them to piss off people, unsocial, master of hiding, can and will disappear for hours and just suddenly amperes, only his siblings can ever find him, Aro/Ace, loves his siblings.   

Sofia Agreste youngest, only comes dering summer, has a grande on her at all times, scares the entire camp, only new campers/strangers think she's innocent, from France.  

Manson best a stealing, has stolen a car once he doesn't know how he just did, big ball of anxiety, baby of cabin,  gay and has a crush on a boy in the hypnos cabin.
