Jaebum: Missed You
“Do you see him yet?” You asked your daughter as you put her up on your shoulders.
“Mommy I see him! I see daddy!” She squealed as she pointed towards him.
“Well go get him!” You said as you put her back on the ground. You watched as she pushed her way through the crowd, yelling “Daddy” the whole way until she reached him, wrapping her arms around his legs. He spun her around, causing her to giggle and squel. Suddenly she pointed towards you and as if it was a movie, the people in the airport spread apart, creating a path between you and your husband.
Seeing him brought tears to your eyes. You couldn’t even move due to the shock of seeing him back home.
After staring at each other for what felt like forever, Jaebum ran towards you, wrapping his arms around your waist, picking you up and spinning you around.
“I’ve missed you so much.” He whispered into your ear as you sobbed into his shoulder. He continued to kiss all over your face until he finally pulled you face from his shoulder and connected your lips together in a kiss full of 3 years worth of passion.
“Daddy! Daddy! Pick me up, please!” Your daughter yelled besides you. Jaebum complied with a laugh as he pulled you back into a hug.
“Let’s go home, yeah?” You said, intertwining your fingers with his and heading to the car.

After a few hours in the car, you finally reached that has felt so lonely without your husband there.
You watched as Jaebum grabbed his bags from the trunck and sped into the house. Following him inside, you noticed that he stopped in the middle of the hallway.
“Surprise…” You said as you pushed past him and stood in front of his best friends, causing tears to fall from Jaebum’s eyes.
“Awe don’t cry, hyung!” Yugyeom yelled, letting out a slight laugh.
“Dammit, Hyung! Now I owe Mark $5. I told him you wouldn’t cry, but apparently I was wrong.” Jackson pouted, earning a smile from Jaebum.
“I thought the military was supposed to toughen people up…not make the crybabies.” BamBam mumbled, causing Jinyoung to slap the back of his head.
“They begged me to let them be here when you got home… We’ve all missed you so much. Honestly, these boys are the reason I didn’t go insane while you we’re gone.” You said with a smile while the other boys nodded their heads behind you.
“I love you so much.” Jaebum said as he brought you into another hug.
“What about me, daddy?” Your daughter questioned, causing you to smile.
“Of course I love you, princess!” He said, pulling her into the hug with you.
“What about us, daddy?” Youngjae said, mimicking your daughter.
“I love you boys, too. Thank you for taking care of my family.” Your husband said with a smile, inviting the other boys into the hug, as well.
Your family was finally back to normal and you couldn’t be happier.
