Right now I'm really hating that I haven't read more about the Dark Angels, because I just came up with the idea of a DA Dreadnought/Rouge Trader fanfic referencing courtly love where the four stages of it are narrated (and which of course is going to end in drutz with filthy sex with the Dreadnought), with all the chivalric aesthetics of the DA and the overlay of the religious ideas of courtly love… and I'm just completely unable to do it justice right now.

That's it, I'm off to read Lion, Son of the Forest. I need to fix this.

I often see sentiment that Leandros should’ve known better in SM1 because he knew Titus for years. That is true.

But you know what is also true?

The opposite.

Titus also should’ve known better knowing Leandros, his experience and trauma and ways of coping with it. Titus was his captain, he should’ve care, but instead we see him simply dismissing Leandros and his concerns (and whines, we’re honest here, lol) the entirety of SM1.

So next time you wanna dunk on Leandros, remember Titus’ own words in SM2 how it was in part his own actions as a captain that lead to Leandros feeling so isolated as an Astartes, that the only solution he saw was to call the fucking Inquisition.

And lets not forget that Thrax being an anti-Astartes fanatic has nothing to do with Leandros.

And lets also not forget that while Calgar had no doubt in Titus, he also seems to not have doubts in Leandros, otherwise, he wouldn’t be a Chaplain in the Second company.

You know what I hate from the majority of the depictions of slaneeshi worshippers??? They only depict sexy slutty women in it. I never see a piece of art or mini that depict sexy slutty men in it. Even the depictions of Slaneesh itself are "generic atractive woman... but hey, its PINK and has HORNS!".

And don't get me wrong, I love sexy woman too, but make them the only ones focused in the sexual part of "excess and pleasure" is weird for me. And reminded me of that article written by Terry Pratchett (Is "Why Gandalf never married" in English if I'm not wrong).

I think we can make a more deeper analysis about why we never depict men as "lustful worshipers of excess and pleasure" as we do with women in fiction in general (and about why in the only few exceptions, the man is ALWAYS a queer man, and focused in his queernes), but i don't have the strength to make it today.

In summary: Draw more sexy slutty men.
