Apologies for the radio silence the last few days on here, a friend was kind enough to gift me Fallout 4 over Steam for Christmas so I have been modding the shit out of it and making Dany there too... as well as kind of really solidifying my fallout verse for her so basically all of this to say: I have Fallout on the brain atm. I am going to be starting my yearly reread of Daenerys' chapters in the asoiaf novels soon, so that'll likely give me more ideas for her main and alternate main verses here on the blog. I'm around and alive, just distracted by games and books but I will slowly be working on drafts as well!

Viserion continues to sniff at the toe of his boot, getting closer to the leg of his pants before the creature seems to attain all he needed to know about the cowboy as he gives a loud 'chirp' of sorts once he settles his gaze on his mother -- as if trying to let her know that he approves of the ghoul. At least one of the three does, before the baby deathclaw moves to rejoin his siblings where they now lay as told to do. Dany can't help but furrow her brow, starting at Cooper curiously. However her attention shifts elsewhere as they begin to talk, noticing how he reacts to her stepping closer to him and wonders if he's nervous due to knowing she wasn't lying about controlling them... or for something else entirely. Either way, she decides not to ask; Dany listens to him answer her questions with some mild skepticism. It's only natural for her to, considering her time spent on the surface and learning very quickly that keeping her history as a vault dweller secret was imperative.

What he tells her at least makes sense: if he is a bounty hunter, he's no doubt had to deal with Dom Pedro in one way or another, though she has a sneaking suspicion that their association with one another is probably not entirely... amicable. They rarely are between criminals and their peers, even if bounty hunting is technically legal. "Then you must know now that what I told you is true: he came after me because he found out a woman is traveling with three young deathclaws. Or sent someone after me, rather. Apparently he's the type of man who can't do his own dirty work," she says, upper lip curling a bit. "Not to mention his information wasn't entirely accurate in Dom seemed to assume he didn't need me to control them. Which, as you know by now, he does. That all being said... I could use your help, if you're still offering. I know I'll have to pay for it, I'm not that naive."

Cooper manages to contain the impulse to either kick the creature to shoo it away from him or step back himself as it gets closer apparently because it likes him, as far as Dany seems to think. He, however, thinks she's certifiably insane. But he'll keep that train of thought to himself, especially if he's right about it.

But then again, she can't be that insane. It's still a lot to wrap his head around but when she tells them to go, they do so. And no matter what she says, telling him again of her vault's experiments, he's still not entirely convinced of this blood bond. Maybe she just has a way with animals. Deathclaws were designed to be intelligent creatures, meant to be controlled after all; perhaps she just has that special something...

And what she tells him about her vault doesn't exactly surprise him. Though he does misinterpret her meaning about those that didn't take to the experiment, assuming the process killed those it didn't work on. The longer she talks, the larger the lump in his throat gets thinking about Vault-Tec...knowing that her vault is not unique. Not at least in having horrible experiments done to the dwellers within. Something he has, for many years, been able to shove deep down into the recesses of his mind. So much for that.

He swallows thickly as she steps closer, questions of her own falling from her lips. Fair ones too, he'll concede. But to answer them? Honestly? Completely? That's never been his strong suit.

"I told you, I'm a bounty hunter and if you know about Dom, I'm sure you can piece together how a bounty hunter might be familiar with a man like him." Does he know him from having picked up bounties on him or his men? No. But that is a reasonable explanation for how he knows him.

                    The community has been growing MORE & MORE supportive overtime. Most roleplayers do not mind the length of time that it takes for you to reply to things, which is WONDERFUL!! I haven't been interacting with @detectice for very long yet, but I already love all the headcanons they post about Neve and how they feel on her character as a whole. I'm extremely excited to write my Dany opposite a Neve, as I feel like there is a lot that the two of them can really bond over considering how the overall trajectory of their lives have gone being mages. I also saw where August loves the Mass Effect series, so that alone makes them an awesome person in my books!

What can I say about @bigdaddydaemon? So many good things!! I absolutely love reading Lexi's take on Daemon and all the threads they're involved in like a big ass creeper, and though we haven't gotten to write or rp yet I STILL WANT TO! Also legit honesty here: Lexi understands my Cooper Howard ghoul thirsting and supports it. She is a real one and our chats have always been super fun to have, great person all around and mun to follow if hotd/asoiaf is your thing!

         psa:  if you ever send me a meme && i don’t answer it, it’s never because i’ve seen it && gone “oh, it’s them”. if i can’t think of a response to a meme right away, i usually keep it in my inbox, or save it to my drafts, && then wait until i get an idea to answer it. or sometimes if i just can’t think of anything at all, or a few people sent in the same one ( sentence memes ) and i can’t think of enough ways to make each unique, then i’ll just end up deleting it. but that never means i don’t want to roleplay with you, or that you can never send another meme in, or ask to thread. just so you buttercups know !!
