Maybe I'd pick up 2011 again, but not unless I got some help with it. As I am now, there's no way in frozen hell I'm typsetting, redrawing and translating something I've lost faith in and health to. But I'll definitely work on something else.

Learn Japanese or pay someone to translate it, download the raws off the reading website and use a graphics editor to put words in.

The original link was to a Kinnikuman Fan Wiki page all about it that had a download link conveniently on the page. But now that page's been deleted for unknown reasons and downloading MF from 2Dbattle is a huge hassle. I'll be removing that section.

If you don't mind me asking, who will be translating the new Kinnikuman manga going forward?

There's no one set up for it, but I'd wager either some outside translation group or The Machineguns could potentially pick it up, not that they're obligated to. The translating was just a fan project on my part so it's basically up to another fan to pick it up from there. Currently, the manga's on a 3 week break, which seems like enough time for someone new to rise.

I doubt any jokes I made about them were enough to hurt their ego enough for them to quit, because weirdly, I’m not a jealous malicious weirdo towards fellow translators. We have had our disagreements, but I doubt any of that convinced them to quit, otherwise they would’ve mentioned it. I’ve been through a lot more heat than them (like your stupid accusations right now) and I’m still here.

And I also doubt not getting to work on a mini-series was enough to make them quit. They said themselves that they’d prefer to see me do it if I was still interested in it, which I am because I like AOA and only forgot about it because of how busy I’ve been (they also didn’t really check too much with me, honestly. Terry sent me an unrelated message and I don’t post work updates because I’d rather be working) Also, they could probably read it for themselves, it wasn’t like I gatekeeped them from reading it, it’s a pretty simple manga. Speaking of, I wasn’t physically gatekeeping them from translating either. If they wanted to, they could’ve just ignored me and translated it anyway, it’s not like I could’ve reported them. I’d be miffed but I couldn’t stop them.

You’re pretty selfish, whoever-you-are-but-I-have-a-good-idea-who, leave them alone and let them decide what to do, it’s their choice if they want to keep dedicating free time to translating stuff for selfish dicks like you. If you’re so hung up on no more Nisei getting translated, translate it yourself.

You didn't need to be an asshole to the Machineguns on MangaDex, it's obvious you're the reason they've quitting.

How was I being rude to them? How did asking them why they worked on something I was working on in anyway convince them to quit?

I fail to see how this small exchange convinced them to quit. It’s probably a private issue they’re having.

And besides, we already resolved that issue quickly and harmlessly. I only messaged them there and on Tumblr because their team seems scattered across these platforms, Terry’s the only one on Discord and I don’t know who runs their Tumblr and Mangadex group pages. It’s a bit weird.

And anyway, it’s pretty normal for groups to stop and then restart a while later. I did the same thing before, quit for a short while to deal with something and then come back, in my case it was getting better at Japanese.

So I politely ask you to stop projecting and leave me alone.

Why did kenkaman's name was changed into quarrelman? even neptuneman's first appearance when he kills kendaman robin mask refers the move as "kenka special" which is also how neptuneman refers too in later episodes of the anime but in most recent appearances neptuneman refers the move name as "quarrel special", why did they changed that?

...Because “kenka” does translate to quarrel? And his signature move itself has Quarrel in katakana? It seems like a obvious thing. It’s not like an in-universe thing like with Kinnikuman’s name where they do acknowledge that it means muscle in English, Quarrelman has two signature moves that have Quarrel in their name and it’s not an in-universe fact. I’m not sure where you saw the Quarrel Special as the Kenka Special, but it’s not a problem with me.

Can’t say, really. I used to prowl manga download sites that had the raws or just buy them myself to screencap them, but now I’ve got a raw provider.

I heard Yude wants to make a new Kinnikuman anime! - Cristy

I have no idea why they didn’t announce their intent last year, only to do it this year on the anniversary of the original anime airing. I have intense doubts about it. Apparently they want to see their new arcs animated but there’re no specific details and they already said something similar last year, all they said was “use this hashtag” for some reason.

Maybe it’s pessimistic but I can’t help but feel it might be a disappointment.

Could you tell me which program and font you use on the pages of the manga, i am trying to translate some kinnikuman chapters from english to portuguese, but i don't know what program and font i could use to make them more well made than my previous attempt with mspaint 8 and comic sans

I’m a bit of an outlier since I use Graphicsgale for typesetting and Fight To The Finish for dialogue. If you want that font you can message me for it.

About the translation error in volume 48, it's the only volume you fixed yhe translation at this time or you already did work on other volumes and reposted them? Because i have all of them downloaded for personal use and i did only downloaded the new version of vol 48 and i just want to know if anything changed in other volumes so i could download them again

I’m kinda working slow on re-editing the volumes, but I should be able to rework them fast since I’ll focus on re-editing and not starting from scratch. I’ve already finished redoing V40 and should upload it soon if I can re-edit the previous volumes as well.

Did you still liked the current arc?

Not really, no. It started out strong with the jobber squad and the princes, sort of, but now the momentum’s completely died with that tag match. Like holy hell, even without all the breaks, that tag match went on forever, and now Satan’s back after like 2 years, it just feels like unless Yude can work their magic or just bring out a 2nd squad, things are gonna get kinda lame soon.

So about the dream tag team arc, can you tell me if that rule of the perfect chojins that they cannot use weapons was a translation error? Really, it's stupid since neptuneman and budo killed screw kid and kendaman for this, and after some chapters, budo and neptune themselves are using weapons which is against the rule, and also one of the reasons that turned neptuneman against neptune king was also because neptune king was using weapons, "Perfect Logic"

Nope, it’s accurate, and that’s kinda the point, the Perfect Choujin were supposed to be hypocrites, just like how Mongolman and Terryman pointed that out to Screw Kid/Kendaman and Neptuneman/Big The Budo respectively. Although Neptuneman using the sword boards is a bit of a weird spot, but I’ve always seen it as him thinking using his Magnet Power to get it counted as him just another way of using his skills, while just picking up a weapon and using it is poor sportsmanship. It’s not a airtight interpretation but the point is they were supposed to be blinded hypocrites who thought they were beyond all and couldn’t even agree on how to act Perfect.
