May I shamelessly recommend/push/toot my Xena/Wynonna Earp parallels post that I'm still really proud of (someday there will be a part 2) It is of course a little spoilery but the last set (and only non-parallel) shows that Wynonna Earp's ending won't break your heart.

I am rewatching both Xena and Wynonna Earp alongside eachother and I am FERAL. The parallels!

I loved the hand to hand fight in 2x09 (what can I say, been a Xena fan for 25 years) but it was so damn dark. So I brightened it up a little to be able to really appreciate it.

(For me as a J/7-shipper, of course Seven has always been gay. And I got some nice dykey vibes from suit-wearing, vest-wearing, rock-climbing, sarcastic, 20th century Raffi a.k.a. Monique Jeffries. When she got axed after S1, Olivia Benson had to acquire a short haircut, leather jacket and blonde ADA in order to step in and provide the now missing lesbian energy. I rest my case.)

It doesn’t matter that I already have Season 4 on iTunes. Physically owning it simply does something to me. Materialism at its best.

For those of you not being able to play European DVDs/Blu-rays ... I feel you. There’s a reason I have code-free DVD and Blu-ray players. Because most of the time, it’s the other way around. You don’t want to know what hoops I had to jump through to trick iTunes US into taking my money for Season 4.
