Saturday night, one of my good friends Mikey was playing hockey for our high school team. After already having scored a goal, he was going for a breakaway when he was smashed into the boards from behind. Next thing I knew, he was being air-lifted to the nearest hospital. Mikey had fractured his C5 verterbrate, leaving him without any feeling from his chest down. Mikey is one of the kindest, most caring, strongest, and funniest guys I have ever met.
