Hello! I have no idea if youâre still active on this account nor if youâll read this, but Iâm in love with your Dad!Charles Xavier one shot. I hope you donât mind me saying this, but it comforted me a lot when I came across that! Donât feel pressured at all, but I was wondering if youâd ever make anything like with him in that fashion again? I was just wondering after taking a look at your account. This is in no way a request, just an inquiry! Thank you for your time, and I love your writing.
Hi! Still active (just tired),
I really appreciate what you said. I find myself getting obsessed over random pieces of media when I write fanfics, so Iâm always looking for a reason to rewatch the X-men movies.
The one fic you mentioned was also a request so if thereâs anything specific youâd like Iâd be happy to oblige. Otherwise parent relationships arenât normally something I do, but I love expanding my writing.
Thank you again,

Day 31: Soap, New Year's
DD Masterlist
Most men of the 141 tend to spend their New Years the same way: with someone. Usually family but this family can come in many forms.
Kate Laswell and her wife get to spend the night with their kid. With Uncle Price stopping by as was almost traditional between the two of them.
Ghost and Gaz, neither of which had a âreal family, get together for a drink at whatever bar is closest. Sometimes theyâd get others with them, make it a proper meet up. Often times it was just he two of them.
Soap had his own traditions before meeting you. Taking the time to touch base with his sisters, their kids, and wishing them all a great New Years. After that there was always a party or something for him to attend. As a popular man he was never short of friends to spend his time with.
When you became part of his life those traditions changed just a bit. He still made time to talk with his sisters and their family, that will never change. But now he makes you part of any party or social event he intends on heading out.
Whether you liked the party life or not Soap was there with you. He smiled at whatever you chose to wore; whether it was jammies or a tight dress. He still looks you over as if the sun shown from the smile you gave.
âHappy new yearâs.â He whispers with a kiss.
âSame to you,â You reply, leaning into his lips.

Day 30: Graves, Vacation
DD Masterlist
Everything about Gravesâs professional life is stressful, intense, and often times takes place outside. For those reasons, his vacations are expected to be the exact opposite.
âCome on, weâre up.â He says when first class is called.
Plenty of money is made when you work with the paramilitary. Aside for little, and maybe overpriced, gifts Graves likes to spend it on these trips. First class to a beach resort far enough away from anywhere he might have blown up. This makes your options small, but they are still grand.
âHow long are you going to work on this trip?â You tended to ask.
This time around he had his laptop at the poolside. A blue and fruity drink on the table next to him. His sunglasses were red to match the red, white, and blue of his swim shorts.
âAlmost done, Promise.â He says, dramatically tapping the keys as he finishes up.
Itâs impossible to go an entire trip without work being brought up in some form. You pretended to be annoyed but checking in on his men and job did always help him relax a little. It was fun to image the emails from his assistance only said; âeverythingâs fine, boss. Everything is still fine.â
You get the hint that heâs done with work from the splashing of water. Looking over your books to see Graves lifting up from the water. Grinning at how you were looking at him over your sunglasses.
âLike what you see, sunshine?â He asks, stepping up from the pool.
âItâs fine,â You say, sunglasses being pushed back into place.
Itâs a game you like to play. He acts like his whole handsome self, and you act disinterested. Heâll then sit down next to you, ask to buy you a drink. Maybe an hour later youâll be gasping into a pillow. But, hey, thatâs vacation for you.

Day 29: Price, serious threat
DD Masterlist
Itâs Ghost who shows up at your door one winter morning.
âSimon, hi. John isnât here, heâs not going to be back for a minute.â You explained, as there wasnât really any other reason for Ghost to be here.
âI know, Price is the one who sent me, and we gotta go. Donât take anything, just go.â He says, practically dragging you from the doorway and towards his car.
If it werenât for the name dropping of Price you probably would have screamed. Yeah, you knew Ghost enough to see him as a family friend. He was still an intimidating guy to have around, especially when he could almost carry you like he was doing.
Then again, Price trusted him. And that was all you really needed.
It took a few hour drive and a quick call before you could piece everything together. During an interrogation, a âbad-guyâ had dropped your name, first and last. He had only laughed when seeing that it affected Price, That was enough of a threat to get his, and the rest of the teamâs, ass in gear.
Ghost dropped you off at the safest place you could be: Priceâs office. The place where youâve spent many hours while Price finishes up his paperwork. On the little loveseat youâve taken naps and read books, sometimes enticing Price over for a little distraction. There was a kind of power in knowing that, just beyond that door, were men that called your boytoy sir.
Right now, the entire office just felt empty.
Itâs another few hours before Price finally shows his face. By then you were halfway through one of his cigars.
âIâm sorry,â He says, door closing behind him and his arms going around you.
âDonât be, just donât be.â You said, holding him tightly and never wanting to let go.

Day 28: Gaz, dinner date
DD Masterlist
Summer had come and gone, and with it all the good movies. This left you with little options for date night; either the Oscar bait about some sports team that beat the odds, or a dime a dozen spy thriller. Not that either of you intended on paying much attention to what was going on onscreen anyway.
âIâll get tickets, you get snacks, than Iâll get dinner.â Gaz recited on the car ride down.
âAnd then Iâll get whatever drinks we sip down.â You finish, knowing that most of what you drink will be back at home.
Gaz was a popular guy, the kind of man who could make a friend in an empty room. Just on the walk from your car, and to the snack bar, heâs either waved at or called out to someone or another. His other hand firmly holding yours.
In the theater it took maybe ten minutes before your hands started to wonder. Neither of you making eye contact while his hand slides up your thigh.
Like teenagers you tried, and somewhat, failed to stay quiet. Giggling and laughing at stupid jokes that the other patrons couldnât hear. It was honestly more of a distraction for Gaz. Otherwise heâd be rolling his eyes at the inaccuracies of a how to scale down a building with military equipment.
âIâm going to have to make Price watch that piece of shit.â Gaz declared at the dinner.
âIâm sure he, and the others, will really appreciate it. Can I be there when you watch it? I wanna hear what they thought of the lack of reloading.â You reply, already imaging the laughs theyâll give while several beers drunk.
Thatâs what these dates had the benefit of. Being something akin to a scouting mission for dumb stuff Gaz can take back to the team. That was just one small part, of course. The real reason was to be with you. Even if the movie sucked.

Day 27: Ghost, Christmas
DD Masterlist
Years and a lifetime ago Ghost had sworn off most holiday or family events. This wasnât done in any sort of dramatic declaration or anything. It was just a small promise to himself that grew with every year that passes.
Slowly, much like with healing, that started to change with time. First, when Price hired him, when he met Soap, and when Gaz offered him a Christmas meal. Laswell invited him for new years and her wife asked him to stay for the fourth. It all grew in his heart until he met you and your own traditions could start to be made.
âItâs heavy,â He warns you one cold morning.
Laswell, the only 141 member with kids who could speak, was your first stop. Her boys loved brownies, and you loved making them. The same went for whatever kind of treats you could think of, they were growing boys.
The meal Ghost passed you to hold was a high protein dish made with calories and warmth in mind. This was going to be for Soap and his gaggle of nieces and nephews. Most of them were on sports teams and meal prep was always an issue.
In the front seat of his truck Ghost groaned while readjusting his seat. Your lap was downright boiling at this point. Youâd only have to deal with it for about a half an hour, but it wasnât that hard. The heat was little pain compared to the cold outside.
The both of you might bellyache a bit but it wasnât enough to be serious. The truth, neither of you would do anything else on this morning. Â

Day 26: Konig, You work
DD Masterlist
Konig is not the only one in the household bringing in a check. Whether you needed the cash or not, you had a job and a reason to leave the house most days. It was a great distraction when Konig was gone, when he was here it did makes things a bit difficult.
âSee you soon,â He promises while dropping you off.
âI canât make it for lunch, but weâll go out for dinner, okay?â You ask in a question although he doesnât get to give an answer.
Itâs hard to see any kind of para-military contractor as a home body, but thatâs exactly what he was. When you left the truck he was on his way back to the house. Getting basic chores out of the way, giving his mom a call, and then his brothers. The dogs taken out, the cats fed, and then himself. Eating cereal in an empty kitchen while the cat chews way too loudly next to him.
Itâs both depressing and the best time of the day for Konig. He can gets everything done and have time for a run before he has to head out. From there itâs a question of should he take his car or the bike to pick you up? Either way he knows youâll come out of the building with a smile.
He knows heâs a big man, in more ways than one he likes to brag. So there is no point in showing off more by stepping off his ride.
âMy knight and shining armor,â You say getting on behind him. âGet me out of here.â

Day 25: Gaz, coming home
DD Masterlist
If heâs told once, heâs told you a million times, you donât need to pick him up. He can rent a car or take the bus after his plane lands. Although this was all an option it was nice to have something to consider yours.
Heâs asked specifically to avoid signs or anything that would outright who he was. It was selfish to say but this made finding him better. No matter what happened in the field, or in your personal life, everything would be better when he saw you.
âHi,â You say when he gets close enough.
âHey, how was your week?â He asks, an arm wrapping around your shoulders.
You tell him about your, honestly, boring life during the last week: Went shopping, saw family, took care of the dog, dodged questions about Gazâs whereabouts. He listened to everything you had to say, almost desperate to have that normalcy be is only reality.
Itâs a casual walk towards the exit. Hand in hand like a regular man getting picked up by his regular girlfriend.

Day 24: Price, Admiring
DD Masterlist
Although a running joke, Price wasnât actually that old. Not even reaching the age of forty yet, but there you were; calling him grandpa and asking if he broke a hip when he comes in from a workout.
âKeep laughing, kid, age is coming for you too.â He says, pressing a towel to his face.
When Price works out he works out. Coming back into your living shirtless and sweaty. A towel pressing against his face while making his way to the kitchen in pursuit of water.
Sure, he had a few gray hairs poking from his scalp and decorating his chest. All that added to the charm, however. They were something to search for when running your hands through his hair.
The fridge light exaggerated the sweat on his chest and face when he looked in. Even at the ripe old age of thirty-seven he still had a great body. Thick in muscle and soft in fat, determined to stay athletic enough to keep up with the rest of his younger team. No, he probably couldnât outrun Soap, outlift Ghost, or keep pace for very long with Gaz. But he could keep up on a mission and give the orders the world needed him to give.
He catches your eye while taking a long drink. He has the kind of mischievous smile that only a loving spouse could give. He knew he was hot, there was no ifs or buts about it.

Day 23: Ghost, After a fight
DD Masterlist
The fight was stupid; the final explosion of built-up emotions and bad communication. As you stand there, alone in the kitchen, you find it hard to see any reason for this to have happened.
Starting as a regular conversation about the night before. You made a comment about him not being around for very long. He made a comment along the lines of; âYou knew what you were getting into,â regarding him being away from civilian life.
It all went down hill after that. You upset that he would just brush off your feelings, he was upset about your complaints, and both of you upset that neither could find the right words.
In the end Ghost left the house while you were still talking. Riley, the more energetic of your dogs, left with him. What followed was the car turning on and pulling out from the driveway. Riley, thankfully, in the front seat. Completely unaware of the betrayal he had just committed.
âJackass,â You said to the sink.
âBitch,â Ghost said to the steering wheel.
These angry and vindictive words were common after your fights. Ghost, Simon, had his fair share of partners who say that outright at their loved ones. He had told you about it and both of you agreed to never say it out of outright anger to eachother. So you both settle for inanimate objects.
You donât know where he goes when he leaves like this. For all you knew he was cheating on you, that he was hurting someone, or that he was sobbing into Soapâs shoulder. All of those were a possible scenario, but none of them seemed to be the right one.
Eventually youâll get tired of waiting for him to come back. Going to bed while itâs cold, and Ghost could technically be in reach, was hard. So much harder than going to bed while heâs away. Some how you always manage to fall asleep.
Youâre awake by the bed shifting. While he doesnât lean over and kiss your cheek, he does press into your back. Heâll give you a kiss in the morning, though. His way of apologizing for his part of the argument. When you kiss him back heâll know that youâve forgiven him.

Day 22: Soap, Beach
DD Masterlist
For any beach day to go off well it has to have a good start. This is where having someone like Soap comes in handy: his early morning jog that day wasnât just to get a workout. Chair and towels already placed out for you to find towards mid-morning.
âBetter not forget the sunblock,â You reminded him, tossing over the bottle which he catches with a grin.
âPut it on me? Come on, please?â He asks, tossing it back.
Itâs simple things like this that makes it easy to take collection of his scars. By now you know most of his bruises and bumps. Heâs told you, with as much basic information is allowed, how he got them.
Even now, as you gently massage his back, heâs talking about how he got that bruise under his shoulder blade. How Ghost wasnât watching where he was going, and the big bastard slammed right into him.
He groans, deeply, when you press into the little purple mark. âTake it easy, Babe, I donât need a bigger mark than what I already got.â
âSorry, Iâll be more careful. You big baby.â You say, pressing into a safer place to massage. âNext time Iâll give Gaz a call, sure heâll be a lot softer.â
âOh, now youâre being cheeky. Come here, Iâll get you.â He says, making a gesture for you to lay back on the sand.
His weight is even and heaven as he straddles the small of your back. The sunblock is cold as he pours it over your shoulder blades. Quickly followed by his thumbs, pressing gentle circles into your back, and sliding downwards.
âMmm, little harder, please. Just like that, fuck.â You asked, feeling the sand where you didnât want it to, but it wasnât worth moving to fix it.
Soap chuckles above you, âWatch the language, thereâs children present.â
Itâs easy to get lost in the moment, and in his hands. Distantly you can hear the children playing around you. The Parents calling for Timmy or Susie, making sure they donât drown. Some women are laughing not too far away, their music loud and happy.
Too soon he climbs off of you. The warmth of his weight and support of his presence replaced with the sticky and cold feeling of sunscreen. He lays down besides you with a sigh, sunglasses on and beer in his hand.
You donât move, you try not to even breathe, the moment is too perfect to let go of without a fight.

Day 21: Soap, There for you
DD Masterlist
John McTavish was dead, and there is nothing you can do about it.
Itâs a hard truth to face, but there it is. Price had come to your front door to personally deliver the news. Your tears werenât the only ones he gathered that day, but he was kind enough to spend some time with you.
When Price had to leave, as they always do, Ghost was there to take his place.
He was wearing the balaclava when Price opened the door. You shrugged when he asked if it was okay for Ghost to come in. Staring down at the floor as the shock of the news is still overtaking your every thought.
You werenât as close to Ghost as you were to Price or Gaz, but Soap was. The two having an odd friendship that you could only make a guest at. Now Ghost was your ally in all this grief.
Ghost sat in equal amount of silence. Letting you be the one to break said silence.
âWas it fast?â You asked, waiting for the door to open and for Soap to come through it.
âYes,â Ghost said.
âAnd the one who did it?â You asked.
âTaken care of, you wonât have to worry about it.â He says, but not in a way that could comfort you.
The silence comes in again. Where you should be greeted by a smiling husband, stories that he canât give too many details about, and a kiss or three, there is nothing.
âI want to see him.â You declare.
When Ghost doesnât respond you give it another try. âJohn, I want to see his body.â
âNo, you donât.â Ghost says with just as much conviction as you did.
He does something surprising after that. He moves from the chair to sit beside you on the couch. Youâve only known him long enough to know that Soap approved. That was all you really needed before, but now you had to make your own decision.
That decision was made when placed a hand on your shoulder.
Your weight pulls you against him. Heâs a solid wall that acts as a kind of support while you start to fall apart. He still doesnât say much, he doesnât have to, and you donât need him to anyway. At least, not yet.

Day 20: Graves, Like teenagers
DD Masterlist
Philip Graves was a football player back in the day, and you can bet your ass he was captain. He told you this as an icebreaker. Neither of you sure of what to say on that awkward first date, the simple fact that he could find anything to say was a blessing.
He was popular back in the day. A cherry picker and handsome young man the motherâs love and fathers respect. They were certainly some of his best years. Heâs told you so while driving one night.
âNothing compared to now, though.â He said, taking your hand while he drove with the other.
âOf course not,â You reassured him, not completely sure if he meant it or not. Thankfully, the turn came up before you could think about it too much.
Thereâs a makeout spot in every town; be it a turnaround, a drop and ride, or just a clearing off the beaten path. Not every spot has a name, but they have one thing in common; fogged up windows and a look out for cops.
The visit back to Graves familiar home has been a long one. Tight quarters with a lot of family left zero room for alone time. Maybe some light making out before someone makes a comment. Even with him pressing into your back in the morning wasnât as fun when a ten-year-old was sleeping on an air mattress barely a foot away.
âThis was a great idea,â He says, both of you getting out of the car.
âGet in the back seat, like, right now.â You practically order.
âYes, Maâam.â He says, slamming the door shut behind him.
Going at it in the backseat of a car is always more fun in theory than practice. Itâs a tight squeeze, which results in a lot of bumping and pushing when neither of you meant to. Your teeth clash when going in for the first kiss. In his excitement heâs ripped your pants down the seam. The same being said for the front of his shirt, opening down to his naval.
Itâs a heated and amazing moment. When encourages you backwards what else could you do but obey?
Knock-knock
The tapping on your window pulls a gasp from your throat. Graves grunting in a same level of surprise. The shock only staying for a second before itâs replaced with a smile.
âGraves, donât-.â You say, but heâs already rolling down the window.
âAlright, Kids, zip it up.â Says the cop who immediately stops when she sees Graves adult-man face. âOh, thatâs pretty new. Most adults have a bed for themselves, nowadays.â
âEvening, Officer, something we can help you with?â Graves asks as casual as can be.
âWell you can start by putting a shirt on, then you can finish by wrapping it up before I take you both in for indecent.â She says with the grace of a chainsaw and the temperament to match.
Graves rolls up the window without adding anything.
âI thought you knew all the cops,â You said, pushing him up and off.
âWasnât aware the department made new hires.

Day 19: Price, Double Date
DD Masterlist
Having both Kate Laswell and Johnathan Price free on the same day is almost impossible. Maybe two to three times a year you and Laswellâ wife, Clair, could plan out a night. Even then the plans can suddenly change without any warning.
Priceâs phone goes off on your way to the restaurant. It makes you flinch and stare until Price reminds you that itâs his personal phone.
âThey got our table and are getting a bottle. Clair wants to know if you want white or red.â Price says, phone to his ear.
The restaurant was top tier, the kind thatâd turn you away if you showed up in jeans. Price wore a tie and jacket, his face freshly shaved and styled. You wore that dressed that barely saw the light of day, a pair of shoes that pinched but made your ass look great, and jewelry Price had bought you last valentines day.
Clair and Kate Laswell are a power couple if youâve ever seen one. Kateâs legacy in the 141 and the CIA spoke for itself, but Clair had her own life of accomplishments to prove her worth. A professor and author, proficient in multiple languages, and a history as a translator for the same government Kate works with.
Clair was in the same boat as you; a woman with a spouse youâd never be able to fully understand. Who has to attend with knowing your spouse could die and youâll never get the whole story of what happened.
Having a friend there to understand what youâre going through always helps. That that same friend could afford to cover the entire bill didnât hurt either.
âJohn, nice to see in something other than the hat.â Kate said when you were finished giving hugs.
âDonât get used to it. Itâs only because the misses promised to play driver.â He says, whiskey menu already in his hands.
Although a double date Price kept most of his attention on you. As Clair spelled the woes of teaching his hand rested on your knee. When the entrĂŠe comes out he gladly takes a bite that you offer. Although you have different tastes in alcohol he still offers you a taste of bourbon that burns your throat.
Eventually the conversation goes where you and Clair dreaded most; to work.
âIs Simon and Kyle ready for next week? Itâs going to be a long campaign and I donât want anything to pull them out of the objective.â Laswell says as casual as ordering a coffee.
âTheyâre getting everything together. Iâll make sure everyone will be waiting for us on the tarmac before wheels up.â Price explains.
Clair makes eye-contact with you over her wine glass. Itâs a sympathetic look, but also one of annoyance. As if to ask; âAre you going to say something, or shall I?â
Since Clair was the one to get the drinks it was only fair that you be the one to say something. âIs anyone interested in dessert?â You ask a bit louder than necessary.

Day 18: Soap, Period
DD Masterlist
Starting your period is not something one just wants to announce. Of course thereâs a change in your attitude, the cramps, the bloating, and the denying sex is enough of a sign. Soap is pretty decent at picking up on hints.
Soap is also the proud brother to two sisters. Although not an expert Soap at least has a basic understanding of periods, mainly how much they suck.
He tries to be subtle about knowing whatâs going on. You just happen to have a sudden surplus of pads and tampons in your room. Soap is feeling in the mood for chocolate and heavier food for no reason whatsoever. Want a massage? He doesnât have a reason why he offered; everyone likes massages.
âDo I seem, I donât know, off?â You asked, paranoia that youâre somehow affecting him demanding that you ask.
Youâre snuggled into his side. The tv on low, both of you mindlessly scrolling your phones. That you said anything ruined the peaceful moment. The vocal equivalent of dropping and breaking a glass.
âNot at all,â He says without hesitation. He looks down at you with a smile. Probably planning how he was going to approach the answer from the moment he realized what was up with you. âDo I?â
âNot at all,â You echo, leaning into him.
You didnât need to say your appreciation. He already knew.

Day 17: Gaz, Tipsy
DD Masterlist
He promised to be out for only a few hours and fewer drinks. After spending several days and nights with you during his time off it was only fair that his friends got some of his attention too. At least, this was the lie you told yourself to insist he goes.
In reality you both needed a break from each other. Like most couples it wasnât going to be healthy to spend every minute together while he was home.
So, while you did your own thing, Gaz hit the bar with his boys. Friends from college and his civilian life who were always fishing for stories about his crazy career. It could quickly get tiring being the main focus of a friend group, but that was where the beer came in.
âHaving fun. One more round than Iâm heading back.â He sent around ten.
âGonna be l8er than I thought. Wonât w8 up.â He sent at eleven.
âLove you babe a lotâ He sent at one.
âThis is Chris using Kyleâs phone. Would you mind coming to get him?â Read his latest message around two in the morning.
Youâve heard of Chris but had never met him. He was one of Gazâs oldest friends from childhood. Although they werenât close enough to be considered besties heâs been around long enough to understand Gaz as a friend, not just a source of fun stories.
Gaz wasnât the only one who let loose tonight. Chris, as the designated driver, found it easier to just take everyone back to his place. So far you were the only partner to be awake and willing to come get their significant other. This isnât to say that the others donât care but that they were in bed by now.
âHello, beautiful,â Gaz said when he saw you pull up.
Gaz gets silly when he lets himself loose like this. As a contractor he rarely felt safe enough to get this sloshed. That he felt safe enough to be blitzed out in your passenger seat is one of the highest honors.
âYouâre so nice for coming to get me. Youâre just-youâre just the best.â He says, reaching out to pat your shoulder. âIâll get you back for gas money for this. Iâll pay you tenfold for this.â
Usually you donât mention the stuff either of you say while drunk. But the promise of money and want to return a favor will definitely be making an appear later on.
âThanks, Honey. I appreciate that.â You said, parking in front of your building.
Gaz has a sleepy smile as you take care of him. He may be bogged down by alcohol, but he was still making comment about your beauty. Leaning into your hands as you help him out of his shirt and pants. Hugging you without too much strength and falling back dramatically on to the bed when you push him away.
âIf you throw up Iâm going to break up with you,â You warn, hitting the light behind you.
âLove you,â he mumbles, meaning that entirely. Â
