The most toxic problem in the Kpop community: Y’all tend to forget they’re humans.

Buckle up because this is a LONG rant.

Every human makes mistakes in their life time, yet y’all tend to blow it out of proportion when an idol had made a past/current mistake. Their people too, and sometimes they tend to be ignorant without realizing it. And the MAIN FUCKING PROBLEM is how people go about it. Y’all will sit on someone’s Vlive and insult them, tell them to kill themselves, etc, and just so you know, if you do that, you’re revolting. You’re lower than any mistake they could’ve made (obviously besides like, rape, murder, etc.) But so many people are fucking childish when it comes down to it.

1. Bullying scandals: A LOT of idols have been accused of bullying, mainly back in middle school. Bullying is in no way, shape, or form okay. I was bullied severely when I was in elementary-middle school, so I know how bad it is. But when an idol is ACCUSED without much evidence (ex. Hyunjin) y’all are so ready to hop down their throats and demand an apology. First of all: they don’t owe YOU an apology, but if they DID bully that person, they should 100% apologize to THAT PERSON. Not you. Not your fandom. Between the ages of 10-14, people are little assholes and will try anything to fit in. You can’t keep throwing something that happened like 10 years ago in an idols face. MOST bullies regret being that way, and I like I said, we’re all little assholes at the ages of 10-14. Y’all sit there and harass/threaten them to apologize making YA’LL SOME SHITTY BULLIES.

2. Dating scandals: first thing I wanna make clear: no idol owes their fandom to stay single. Y’all can live the fantasy world in your head where their fans are all they need, but an idol is ALLOWED TO BE LOVED BY A SIGNIFICANT OTHER. I just saw something about a dating scandal for Jungkook, and death threats were involved?? Here’s something hard to swallow: You don’t own your bias. You don’t own your bias group. You’re not impressing them or anyone else by making death threats and tearing them down. You can feel jealous over it, of course, but the MINUTE y’all get out of hand is where it’s a problem. Although I’m not a huge bts fan, Jungkook is a VERY attractive man, and he’s VERY likeable. You can’t expect him to be single just because he’s got a huge fan base.

3. Weed Scandals: Alright, I said it before and I’ll say it again: I could be ignorant because I’m from America, where weed isn’t a huge deal. Most places are trying to legalize it. But when an idol smokes weed (Ex. G-Dragon) y’all sit here and point fingers to him and call him a “drug addict”, meanwhile America is over her laughing in fucking crackhead because people are doing meth and heroine. Weed is NOT a bad or addicting drug. “Idols” over here in America are going on stage methed out and y’all are worried about a little weed? Just about (key words, just about) everyone and their grandma has smoked pot in America, so we look at it like ??? Okay??? He could be shooting heroine tho???

4. Words taken out of context: Wonho literally just terminated his contract with Starship because some Anti’s had to go through an old video and accuse Wonho and Minhyuk of making fun of the “me too” movement. “Me too” and “same” have been used for YEARS to agree with something funny, and the fact this anti was able to convince y’all they were making fun of it is really sick. No idol is stupid enough to do so, no matter what their view on it is. “If He WaSnT gUiLtY hE wOuLdNt Of LeFt” He left because of TWO FUCKING SCANDALS YA’LL CRAZIES ACCUSED HIM OF IN A ROW. He literally said he was scared to bring Monsta X down because of all these scandals, and he did, indeed, like some HUMAN BEINGS, have a troubled past. Y’all will do ANYTHING to make an idol look like shit/feel like shit. Every time someone says something remotely close to a movement y’all hop on it like they should have it stapled in their brains that it’s there.

5. Hairstyles: Okay now, y’all know what I’m talking about. Back in April, Chris got ATTACKED for having Dutch braids. Now, can y’all be upset about it?? Of course, you can feel upset about anything. BUT HOW SOME OF YA’LL HANDLED IT WAS AN ISSUE, and at that point, he didn’t owe y’all an apology since y’all wanted to be nasty like that. There’s ways to go about it, and some of y’all literally threatened him, called him names, etc. If you go about things that way, you can keep your feelings hurt. Saying “hey you shouldn’t do that.” Is WHAT SHOULD OF BEEN SAID. Not some of the bullshit y’all spewed. Y’all sitting there demanding an apology like “hE cAn Go AgAinSt JyPs RuLeS aNd ApOlOgIzE” no offence, but your feelings aren’t worth his career, because if he goes against what they say, they’ll easily terminate his contract/punish him somehow. I may be sounding harsh but, it’s the ugly truth.

6. Facial Expressions/Moods: y’all might be like ??? What??? But here’s what I’m saying: awhile ago there was a female idol (I believe she’s in MAMAMOO?) looked pissed/upset on stage after another group won. Now, she had JUST GOTTEN DONE PERFORMING on stage and was probably tired. She also looked like she was thinking about something, and I myself tend to have a nasty bitch face when I’m thinking. Y’all were so quick to attack her and be nasty, and that’s your fucking issue. Idols don’t always have to be a bubbly mess 24/7. They’re allowed to be upset, mad, irritated, etc. Like I said, THEY’RE FUCKING HUMAN.

And this concludes my rant, that idols are human beings and make mistakes whether y’all like it or not. There’s no perfect human being. And if y’all get offended by this rant, it’s the truth and you’re most likely part of these problems 🤷🏻‍♀️ any hate sent to my ask/inbox will be deleted or ignored. Feel free to add other stuff
