I am Marwa, a mother of three girls, Belasan, Joan and Nada, ages 7 to 14. 🔊🔉🔈I will take a moment to share my story.📢📣

My children and I lived under bombardment and aggression. We had a safe home full of dreams and a bright future for my daughters.

But everything changed when the war on Gaza began. Our house, which we built with strength and effort before the war, was destroyed.

We lost our job, which was our only source of income. The journey of displacement and moving from one place to another began without the minimum necessities of life. We faced difficulties in providing healthy food and clean water. We lived in fear and terror. My daughters could no longer sleep from the intensity of fear.

My mother-in-law suffers from serious lung infections and chronic diseases, and we find it difficult to provide appropriate treatment for her, especially in the winter and the bitter cold. She is part of our family after losing her husband. We are now without shelter, moving from one place to another, and struggling to survive. Today we have no income, no life, and no work. We are determined to rebuild our dreams, secure our future, and rebuild our home. We cannot do this alone and we need your help in building our lives. serious question, do you have a source or any recommended reading for the claim that humans aren't sexually dimorphic? because that's the opposite of what it seems like anthropologists and biologists say. I think in general for such important posts you should try to put sources, as this is a blog a lot of people come to for information

Sure! If you're talking about trans/intersex inclusive anthropologists and biologists, it is actually what a number of them say but I 100% understand wanting some sources!

This is a good article with some information, this post has some good information, this is a statement that was published by a group of anthropologists who turned down a panel defending "ASAB/AGAB" and sexual dimorphism, and here is another article on the diversity of sex.

By the way, just to be clear, I was not trying to make an important post.

I was dealing with a lot of intersexists at the time and admittedly, I may have taken it a bit personally being intersex myself. In my frustration, I made a post stating they were wrong.

I was not aware saying "hey, sex isn't a fucking binary and that idea is harmful" would be that noteworthy, tbh.

That said, while I understand wanting sources on posts, this is not just an educational blog. I am also a person and I cannot always do that. Sorry in advance. You can always ask, though!

Hi, I am the child Muhammad Ahmad Al-Anqar, I am 10 years old, my premature birth left me with several diseases, including hearing impairment in both ears, my hearing percentage in the right ear is 2% while I can not hear at all with the left, and I also suffer from a relaxed axis, brain atrophy and tension in the limbs, before this deadly war I had a small chance of treatment and exercising my rights like any child, I continued with physical therapy sessions and went to a special school for those in my condition, it was possible for me to continue my treatment at that time, but now the war has come and all my treatment journey has stopped indefinitely because of that, my house, my father's workplace and my school were demolished as if our whole life had stopped and we had more problems on top of the problems we had. But despite that, I still have a small hope that I can complete my treatment with your help for me and my family.

Can you imagine being stripped of safety at the happiest moment of your life? I’m Suad, a young mother from Gaza, where I gave birth to my son Khaled amidst the chaos of w@r.

When I first heard his cries, I felt indescribable joy, but soon I was overwhelmed with fear. How would I protect him from the hor/rors surrounding us? Each day presents a new challenge from food and water shortages to a lack of medical care.

My family and I have faced repeated displ@cements, searching for a safe haven away from the bomb@rdments. I struggle daily to provide Khaled with his basic needs while our health deteriorates under these harsh conditions.

I urgently need your support to secure shelter and medical care for Khaled. You can be part of our story, as every bit of help makes a real difference.

A lot of parents shouldn’t be parents. Which is not me advocating for eugenics. Sex ed, abortion and birth control should be free and easily accessible and we should create culture that doesn’t treat reproducing as inherently altruistic and moral and makes it more acceptable to choose not to have kids. It’s an extremely weighty irreversible choice but it should always be a choice. You should have a damn good reason to have a child instead of it being something you do to tick off a box. If you don’t like kids and you don’t want to sacrifice your time and money to your kids, don’t have a kid. This isn’t an anti-parent anti-kid kid rant, it’s just so sad to see how many parents are kind of meh about their kids or straight up open about regretting them and to remember how many of my friends and classmates growing up had shitty parent horror stories.

WE ARE IN A MOMENT OF DEEP DESPAIR, AND OUR HEARTS ARE HEAVY WITH SORROW.

WE KNOW THAT YOU FEEL WHAT WE FEEL, AS THE SITUATION IN GAZA IS TEARING US ALL APART.

Every day in Gaza is a new tragedy, the war continues, and the bombs never stop falling. They talk about a ceasefire in the news, but on the ground, all we see is more bloodshed and destruction.

The feeling of death follows us everywhere, with constant shelling and airstrikes that show no mercy. Our children are living in freezing cold, under tents that offer no protection from the wind or rain. Life here has become harder than ever, prices are soaring to unbearable levels, and hope for a better tomorrow feels further away than ever.

We don’t know what tomorrow will bring, but we live in constant fear that the war will end our lives before it ends itself. We pray from the depths of our hearts for peace to return, and for this nightmare to end before it consumes everything.
