Are Schools Sexist?

In my opinion i do think schools have a tendency of putting the male gender needs first before a females. That’s just down right stupid, shouldn’t we be putting both student genders first in learning, teaching them that this is all bad, and that to everything there are limits.Why are girls the ones to change when there following the 3 finger tank top rule, or shorts and skirts can’t be shorter than the length of your fingers to your leg. Why do girls get removed from class because of a GUY who couldn’t control himself. Why do we get controlled and told what to do when it’s not our fault for what gender we are in life?

I ran into a situation in gym, and we were doing a running relay,and the girls had happened to finish before the guys did, yes i do know some girls have a tendency of cheating and stop early and claim they are done. But what if the situation were to be switch were the guys finished first and girls like always last, what if one day us girls had on a our “a” game and really did beat the boys in a running relay, why can’t that be possible? i have experienced this kind of thing multiple times throughout middle school, they guys get to go outside on the nice days, they choose what they get to do, they “follow’ the rules, etc. girls at my school get stuck doing what i call whimpy gym activities; volleyball, basketball, and other stuff that you may think a girl would do as a sport or activity in gym.

I mean yes schools could be helping us in some ways, but i’ve never been told one. My whole school experience with school dress codes, what i’m able to do as a women is all i’ve been taught, and that it’s weird for a girl to be doing a job “meant” for a man. Why can’t we just get over the fact that women don’t need men to save the day, we are fine without them. We are capable to set our own choice and life decisions. Society labels us as housewives and moms, having dinner cooked every night for the hard working husband, isn’t it time that we switch places, i do know that it is not the 50’s anymore where women really didn’t work, and the men did, but that was then and this is now!

Us women, young ladies, girls we are the future, we hold the key of life. we should all be treated equally, being able to be doing what others think we can’t do, never ever let a person determine where your place in life is. Let us run for president, may we be NFL football players, we should be what we choose to be doing what we are told in schools; to follow your dreams in life and don’t let them fly away because someone else says you can’t, be stronger than the person letting you down!
