I got accepted to UCLA the other night, a goal I had worked years in school towards, only to find out i qualify for ZERO in aid. i didn’t even get offered a subsidized loan, and the few outside scholarships i have been able to pick up would barely cover books

i’m bright enough to get there, but i won’t actually be able to do anything without wrecking either myself or my parents financially for decades, and that is incredibly disheartening.

i can’t remember a time where i’ve ever been more upset
