Sadly, we'll never get a reunion movie, but I like to think of them that way :)

Oh come on!
Ok this was a beautiful episode: a perfect equilibrium between concern and humor, action and dialogue. Nell is great, Deeks broke my heart and Hetty … Hetty was our beloved Queen! But as I feared from the beginning, I think the writers could do something to make Kensi’s situation more realistic.
First of all where is it the fracture femur? Not a word? Not a plaster or at least a simply mention? A open fracture? Come on, it’s impossible! Now the real problem is the neck? Ok but then, why they don’t use it from the beginning?
I know NCISLA is a procedural and not a medical drama, but we are in the 2016 and I think we are ALL tired of seeing our heroes magically heal from the most traumatic experiences and wounds.
A little bit of reality, the knowledge that there will be consequences, would give fans a hint of chill and renewed passion for the series. For this the beginning of fifth season was a nice surprise for me, but then the writer and producers have fallen into the same clichés and we had episode as Expiration Date.
When I learned of this 8/10 arc episode with an injured Kensi, I hoped it would be a good opportunity for a REAL drama and now instead… I have the bad feeling that we will have, as usual, a lot of medical words without much meaning, just for “show”.
I think a less serious wound but more realistic it would much better than a devastating situation that will vanish into thin air when Daniela will return on set.
We’ll see, in the meantime I have to find a way to survive at this two weeks of waiting! ;)

WOW what a start! but...
The first two episodes of the eighth season... what to say except WOW?!
But I believe that no one is giving proper emphasis to what really happened and what Kensi did and endured!
Infact, at first she did not show any pain, so I think the femur broke while the team trying to bring her out in the first attempt, and she only didn’t start screaming like crazy (and anyone who has broken only a finger, knows how much it hurts ... I can’t even picture what is an open fracture of the femur), but she apologized for not being strong enough to bear the pain!
Kensi, since from the pilot, sought the approval of Callen and Sam and I'm afraid, when she awaken, that one of the critical factors will be she thought she wasn’t up to their expectations.
Congratulations to Daniela and how she played the part!
Second note: Deeks was sweet as we all expected, but we want to talk about Callen? The tone of his voice when he reassured Kensi broke my heart as much as Deeks! It is rare to see this side of his character and I think it was one of the most beautiful things of the episode.
At last a medical likelihood fear, or rather... why Kensi is in a coma?
At the end of the episode they have given much attention to the risk of damage to the neck or spine, but Kensi immediately after the accident moved and showed no signs of distress. Ok that can happen for shock and adrenaline, but we want to mention the risks of an open fracture of the femur? Especially when one is crushed under a helicopter in the dust and soil?
An infection (and a severe one) is the least that should be expected! And the second deadly risk for a serious fracture is to a blood clot, even several days after the accident, and it happens especially in the legs. These are the risks that I would like to see developed in the next episodes. It would make more sense from a medical point of view. I hope they don’t choose the easy way out and try to be as realistic as possible. I think it would gain credibility.
In any case this remains the best opener of a season EVER! Thanks to all the cast and crew!
