Isn’t it just so funny to see the treatment of Ollie from other drivers compared to how they treated Max at 17 years of age…like some of these older drivers literally bullied a 17-18 year old constantly in the media, let him be made into the bad guy and for what..
Nice to see Max refuses to take their cowardly way and support young drivers😌

Wrapping up with a little movie recommendation, darlings: Dangal. Perhaps it'll do wonders for expanding those horizons of yours 😘.
I didn’t expect this many the people angry and offended at Max’s childhood. I guess it’s a very shocking and unimaginable thing in Western culture, but in Eastern culture it’s very normal. Many successful sport personality and musician were literally ‘beaten’ to success. What Jos did is very very mild in comparaison so some of the eastern methods. In Eastern culture, the end justify the means and no one would even bat an eye about it. This is a famous quote by a parent who used very extreme physical discipline to train his son (His son is now very famous and successful musician): “I cannot predict the future, but I can only work hard all the time… I understood that [he] was not an ordinary child. Without some of the more extreme ways of his upbringing, [he] might not be the superstar he is now.”
* Not justifying his action, but just providing some different perspective.
** "People are expressing strong reactions to my comment, primarily through a Western lens. It's essential to remember that the world is diverse, and there are various cultural perspectives. Discipline methods indeed vary significantly. For instance, in certain Eastern cultures, corporal punishment is considered acceptable, while it's largely discouraged or even illegal in many Western nations. Does that mean, from your viewpoint, all Eastern cultures should be labeled as abusive and morally wrong? That is a bit ego and euro centric 🌍🤷🏾‍♀️"
*** I am just saying that what you may consider abuse in your culture, may not be in another. People can have a different perspective than your own.

Gonna reply to y’all via retweet cuz my comment section is somehow not working right now.
Y’all really missing my point 🥱 maybe should read this one more time … I wrote black and white that it’s NOT for justifying his actions, but to EXPLAIN to y’all why for some viewers, of different countries or background, might not be so quick to scream ‘abuse’ after reading about his childhood. Not everyone HAS to agree with you that the behaviour is ‘abuse’ ... I made this post after seeing you lots attack and insult people who didn’t agree with you on platforms… you are so centred on your beliefs and never considered that the others may have an another set of beliefs. I never said that he was from ‘Eastern’ culture… I just said that someone from ‘Eastern’ culture may not share your opinion in this matter and ✨ that is ok ✨.

✨ Refrain from imposing Western ideals on other cultures. It's essential to remember that the world is diverse, and there are various cultural perspectives. Open your minds a bit to the world that exist beyond your own✨
“Don't fixate on your own center; the universe unfolds in all directions”
