But it led to me going back to that story i mentioned at the start of the blog. It's weird to remember. I recall being really excited about making it horror themed or just having horror elements, and also making the MC be a bit of a douche. Maan... I was like "oh yeaah this is it, it's going to be my debut. It'll be soo good and awesome!"

Learning how to paint! (oh man)

No, I'm not obsessed with one of my own ocs, nuh uh.

Specific question: Have you ever had an oc or inspiration where the bastard forced you to learn something? That's Kairo for me.

I mainly like doing B/W art because it's cooler AND easier to do/finish... But then this dumb dog came in, and i got so fixated on his nature theme that now I'm learning how to paint, use colors, shading properly, all that jazz, and I'm having fun... Bless you, Kairo, bless you.

You know... It's nice to try something different, I was at a time in my life when the mere thought of diverging and tackling these things that seemed alien to me or out of my field, really gave me a spook, threw me off hard, I end up feeling like i don't know a lot of stuff i should know, self-conscious and what-not.

But the more I grow up and experience new things, take it in these new concepts presented to me in the form of talks with family, or games, stories, the more I'm willing to move into them. It's still scary... Really scary, but maybe that's just part of growing up, and the anxiety is stabbing me in the gut without me doing anything about it to stop it. It's the fear of me having to leave what I love behind in favor of these things that really get to me. But hey, I'm still young! The world won't end as soon as i turn 18 (I hope...)! The more I do stuff i like, the more hopeful and at ease I get. I wanna grab the anxiety by the throat and slam it on the ground and scream really loud: "I'll be the happiest failure in the world!"

Woosh, that's a nice bible, anyways, Plant dog! The dog with the power of nature and sentient vines on him!

I really enjoyed doing this one! (Also is that the jellyfish fields from spongebob?)

To cap off the "old" things, here's my lil' character and his designs with their respective art styles. Looking at this makes me feel... Good. It's things like this that remind me that the only person you should compare yourself to, is you. So if you ever see your past self, go there and smack your improvements on their face! Tell them you're that thing they so wished to become! Boast about how better you are than them...! Destroy them!!

...Okay, maybe not too harsh, but you get the idea :D
