I did my work experience at the Royal Armouries many, many years ago. It is absolutely fantastic and everybody should definitely visit it if they're ever in Leeds!

A thing a lot of people don't realise that I am blessed to have witnessed during my time there, it's not just a museum. It is literally the armouries. Where the UK just stores a bunch of its weapons incase shit goes down.

One day during my work experience, they just took me into this cool massive warehouse with racks covered in every weapon you could imagine. At one point the guy showing me around went "I actually don't know what we keep down here" Leaned down to look in a box, and went "Oh! It's grenades, let's not touch those."

It isn't just modern weapons either. The place owns so many rad old weapons that there is another massive warehouse, just full of swords and spears and halberds all lined up like this scene from the matrix.

It's pretty rad.

I also can confirm that the lion armour does serve main character energy super hard. I was fascinated by that suit and would just stand and look at it for ages.

I have become a regular at the local cafe. I sit at the lunch counter with my laptop to write. The workers keep me updated on all the tea.

Barista: Oh god here he comes.

Me: who?

Barista: White Ferrari guy. Hes banned from the other cafe. All he ever does is tell the same stories about the pyramids. Or ghosts. Or his car. Don't make eye contact with him. If he talks to you he won't leave you alone- Hi hello welcome!

I've been getting back into FF14 (because I can be a buff cat lady now) and after being a diehard Ninja for the majority of the 183 hours I put into this game, I decided to try out something differnet. Gunbreaker, becuase that sounds fun.

Turns out that you don't get any kind of tutorial when you pick it up, so I looked up a guide on YouTube and only made it 2 minutes in to the 11 minute video before I was so drenched in terminology I did not understand I had to leave. "you have to demon slice your spinflux while your chamberchang is in cooldown before you gcd but also you have to make sure oyu use whopping slice twice per minute becuase your whopping slice turns your cleaning wedge into a scrunging clunge, which then turns your prodding poke into a crunching gunge and unlocks your whapping swipe." It's too much! I'm a silly little guy with a silly little cognitive impairment!

I'm going back to ninja. Ninja is easy. You swipe, you swoop, you sweep. And you keep swipe, swoop, sweeping until you can Naruto.
