My favorite hobby at the moment, writing silly ficlets in French, my native language, and illustrating them. I use Copic Markers, Prismacolor pencils, and ballpoint pens of various colors (black, sepia, red and blue). B5 sketchbook.

Last night my daughter was showing me a clip from Supernatural.  Nothing new about that - she’s very, very into the show.  But my eleven year old son happened to be walking past as the video played and the following conversation ensued.

Daughter: We’re still a full season away from this, but I wanted to show you because Dean makes the greatest face in this scene.

Son, stopped in his tracks:  Sweet mother of ham!

Daughter:  What’s up?

Son:  That man (pointing to Misha Collins’ Castiel).  Who is he?

Daughter:  Oh, he’s an angel.

Son, voice full of reverence and awe:  Yes.  He’s beautiful.  But who is he on the show?

Apparently my kid has good taste in men.

WHY HASN’T ANYONE EVER SUGGESTED A MERLIN AU?

Barry is a sorcerer who lives in a land where magic is illegal, punishable by death. He lives with Joe West, a friend of his father’s, and his daughter, Iris, who both know about his magic and help him hide it.

I don’t know if I like Len or Oliver better for Arthur (they both kind of work when you think about it), but I’m leaning towards Oliver (like pre-Gambit Oliver), because I feel like Len would catch on to Barry having magic and GOD HE’D BE SUCH A GOOD GWAINE.

Eddie could be Lancelot, Mick could be Percival, and I guess Thea would be Morgana, and Malcolm could be like Morgause?

Picture if you will:

Sara wants to meet Lisa, get to know her. So when the team stops by Central 2016 she, Lisa, Len, and Mick go have some fun. Obviously their kind of fun gets the cops involved someway or other.

So they’re all slammed against the side of a cop car: Len, Mick, Sara, then Lisa. They’re given a pat down. Len bears it with his usual coolness; Mick growls; Sara tells the pretty lady to at least buy her a drink first; Lisa asks if that’s a gun in his pocket or if he’s just happy to see her. You know, the usual.

Then one of the officers says it.

“Whatever you say can and will be held against you in a court of law—”

And Sara says, “Detective Spivot—right?” and Patty splutters, because Patty deserves to be here okay

Lisa smirks, “Cisco Ramon.”

Len and Mick catch on fast.

“Leonard Snart,” Mick says.

Len gives him a light kick. “Mick Rory.”

The officers have no idea wtf if happening. 

Sara goes, “Oliver Queen.”

Lisa: “Caitlin Snow.”

Mick: “Lisa Snart.” Len shoots him a mICK—”Oh shut up, you knew that was comin’.”

“Is that a promise, baby?” Lisa winks.

Len spits, “The Flash.”

Sara snorts, “Well I think we can all agree we saw that one coming.”

Mick nods, “Yeah. But I thought you liked your men with a little more meat on their bones, Lenny.”

Len grins a slow, devious grin. “You of all people should know how flexible I can be, Mick.” and Mick’s like nICE while the officers are just like WHAT

Sara takes her turn: “Lisa Snart.” Len can’t believe all his friends wanna bang his sister. “Leonard Snart.” okay, his sister and him wtf “Just like you’re gonna say White Canary, right Len?”

And because they have that beautiful queerplatonic friendship going on Len smirks and says “Of course.”

So Sara tells the cops, “I do hope you’re writing all this down, officers.”

“Gonna be a crowded courtroom,” Mick agrees.

“Yes,” Lisa sighs, “but why waste such a golden opportunity?”

Sara looks at her. Looks at Len. “I should’ve known.”
