no one follows me here so i’m just speaking into the void but it’s also the only place friends and family don’t follow me so i can vent so here i go lol

my parent went out of town for a week and leading up to it i could not stop thinking about SH. i was visualizing it constantly. i kept thinking oh if i do it at the beginning of the week it’ll be faded enough when they get home they won’t notice and it was just a constant loop of these thoughts even though i’ve been clean for YEARS now. every time i showered this week my chest felt so tight and anxious because i was forcing myself to not do anything. now they get home tonight and i made it through the week without relapsing. i want to say im proud of myself and maybe i will feel that tomorrow but today i have such an overwhelming feeling of regret? like i missed my chance of doing it without being caught. and i hate that. i hate that i still feel like this years later. will these thoughts ever leave?
