Dear L,
I guess I was stupid, believing your sweet lies,
I guess I was stupid, seeing truth through blinded eyes,
I guess I was stupid, for opening my heart wide,
To someone who played games, who toyed with my pride.
I thought you were different, I thought you were true,
But now I see clearly, the pain that you drew.
I guess I was stupid, for trusting too quick,
I guess I was stupid, for falling for your trick.
You whispered promises, like petals in the breeze,
But they scattered and faded, leaving me on my knees.
I guess I was stupid, for letting you in,
I guess I was stupid, now where do I begin?
To mend this shattered heart, to find my own way,
To learn from this lesson, to grow from today.
I won’t stay in sorrow, I won’t dwell in the past,
Though scars may remind me, they won’t forever last.
I’ll gather my courage, I’ll rise from the pain,
Stronger and wiser, through the tears and the rain.
I guess I was stupid, but I won’t always be,
For each hurt is a lesson, in finding the real me.

Reminder
Dear Bee, There are two kinds of people in this world: Those who have suffered and want others to experience the same pain, And Those who have suffered and are determined to spare others from similar suffering.
Your actions define who you choose to be.

Almost.
Across the waves, I searched so far and wide, For someone who could stand right by my side. The seas were vast, the journey full of strife, But hope did guide me through this wandering life.
Each dawn I rose with dreams upon my heart, That somewhere, you and I would never part. I braved the storms, the endless ocean's woe, Believing love would light the path to go.
I crossed the waters, miles and years went by, With every breath, I sent to you a sigh. Each wave that crashed, a whisper of my plea, For fate to bring your soul to be with me.
And now, at last, I see you on the shore, The one my heart has long been longing for. Though distance still remains, it's just a mile, A span of time that fades before your smile.
A little longer, patience is the key, For love that's true is worth the wait, you'll see. Our hearts aligned, no longer lost at sea, I know it's meant to be, you are for me.
So I will wait, with joy and calm embrace, For soon I'll find the warmth of your sweet face. The oceans crossed, the waiting days will cease, And in your arms, I’ll find my perfect peace.
-HeartCrushBee (***, I'll follow you till the end of time)

Delilah
She opened her heart, a quiet trust, In the still of dawn, in the warmth of dusk. She shared her dreams, her deepest fears, In the embrace of love, through laughter and tears.
They spent their days in gentle touch, Her heart believed it was enough. Every smile, every word, Felt like a song she always heard.
But one day, the warmth grew cold, A distance felt, a story told. Another’s name slipped from her lips,
"D******"
A different love, a change of ships. "D******"
She watched her turn and walk away, With someone new, she couldn't stay. Left alone in empty rooms, With shattered hopes and silent blooms.
Nights grew longer, days turned gray, Her heart in pieces, in disarray. The echoes of their love now gone, A hollow ache that lingered on.
She wandered through the empty halls, Listening to the silent calls. Her love, her trust, now lost in time, A sad reminder in each chime.
In the quiet, she stood alone, With an empty heart, and a love now flown. The girl who loved and lost her way, In the shadows of a broken day. "D******" "D******" "D******" She'd Say -HeartCrushBee
(I tried to fight for your love, but you didn't want to stay. you made me feel like it was all in my head, you broke your promise and now I'm back at the start)

A Winter Lost.
In the quiet of her room, she wove a tale, With lines like rivers, colors like sails. Sketches were dreams, whispers in the air, She’d lose herself in the story, without a care.
One fall day, she met a girl so bright, Eyes like stars, in the soft dark night. The girl loved her art, a beacon’s call, Together they'd drift, as leaves would fall.
Their time was a tapestry, rich and grand, Threads of orange, red, and the sky’s own hand. Every drawing, a note in their song, A harmony sweet, where they belonged.
Winter arrived, love’s flower did bloom, In the night’s embrace, dispelling gloom. Snowflakes like kisses, their warmth a fire, Her art and love, a symphony’s choir.
She painted on, her brush a wand, Creating spells, a magic bond. Her love watched, a lantern’s light, Guiding her through the darkest night.
But one day, the girl had to part, Leaving a shadow over her heart. She couldn’t bear to paint again, Each stroke a ghost, a lover’s pen.
Every time she tried to weave, The threads would tangle, make her grieve. Memories twisted in every line, A face once bright, now lost to time.
She couldn’t lift her wand to cast, Each spell returned her to the past. To autumn’s dance and winter’s song, Where love was pure and dreams were long.
Now her room, a silent sea, Her heart, a forest, barren tree. No more stories, no more light, Just echoes in the still of night.
In the quiet of her room, she wove a tale, Now she sits alone, with memories frail. Her art a mirror, showing the past, A love once bloomed, too bright to last.

(this poem took me a while to write, but this helps me relieve a part of me I never wanted to tell. a part of me that she still had, I may never return to drawing but I think I've found I new form of art in these poems, a new way to let it out.)

Eleven months and three weeks.
A final week, the countdown near, The end so close, the victory clear. Yet on a night of silvered moon, She stumbled to the siren's tune.
A touch, a taste, a fleeting sin, A battle lost, the darkness in. Her resolve, like morning mist, Dispersed by that forbidden kiss.
The clock struck twelve, the year undone, The goal so near, now overrun. But in her heart, a flicker bright, A flame that dimmed but held its light.
For though she fell, she’ll rise again, A warrior's heart, through joy and pain. The path is long, the night is deep, Yet dawn will come, her soul to keep. -HeartCrushBee

Nights.
In the quiet hours where we play, Memories of laughter, bright as day, Every game, each joke, shared delight, Burns a hidden flame through the night.
Conversations deep, uncharted seas, Echo in my heart like whispered pleas, Moments fleeting, yet they stay, Unseen treasures, tucked away.
You'll never know the depths I feel, How each shared smile can heal, But in my soul, these bonds remain, A secret joy, a cherished pain. -HeartCrushBee

Release.
shadows deep, where whispers play, A friend I found, or so I'd say, With smiles bright and laughter's sway, I thought you true, but skies turn gray.
Your mask so fine, it hid the cracks, A gleam of gold that truth lacks, But slowly, time unveils the facts, Your loyalty, a web of acts.
The moments shared, the secrets spun, Were all for you, your game begun, I saw the seams, one by one, Your care a lie, your heart undone.
Beneath the surface, selfish ties, A puppet's grin, a web of lies, But now I've seen through your disguise, The truth revealed, my spirit flies.
No longer bound by your deceit, I rise alone, my strength complete, With clearer path and steady beat, Without your shadow, I find my feet.
In parting ways, my heart finds peace, Your hold on me, a sweet release, With newfound strength, my hopes increase, In my own truth, I find surcease. -HeartCrushBee

As i start.
the quiet dawn of a new resolve, You lay each brick with care and love, A fortress strong, where dreams evolve, Against the tides that push and shove.
Like an oak, you root deep and wide, Weathering storms, standing tall with pride, Your strength unseen, in shadows you bide, Focused on the path, with no need to hide.
A sculptor's hands, with patience, carve, A masterpiece from marble, harsh and starved, You chip away, though the road is hard, For in each strike, your spirit is carved.
A phoenix rises from the ash, In solitude, through trials harsh, No cheering crowds, no comrades' clash, Yet you emerge, with a burning flash.
A lone wolf howls beneath the moon, Against the odds, you'll find your tune, Stronger, better, your time will come soon, For you build your legacy, brick by brick, boon by boon. -HeartCrushBee
