Showing his mature side due to his highly adaptable mindset and lack of temper, Inyeop surely hits all the marks to be a good leader. He is not one to entertain any kind of provocation and is extremely capable at defusing any tension. Therefor he often acts as a medium between others. Always trying to look at things from different perspectives has certainly helped him to maintain this image of maturity he’s known for. Inyeop knows there’s always multiple sides to a story and prefers to listen to both. Having experienced the brutal consequences of prejudice has definitely left a mark on him both positively and negatively. For example, he still struggles greatly with showing his emotions to others; bottling it all up instead. Although his awareness of the problem has helped him to open up towards those he trusts. Especially those to whom he feels he can relate. Over the years, Inyeop has mostly learned to loosen up more around his APEX brothers; allowing them to bring down the wall he had built around himself after what he went through. Because of that, they got to see the more intense side of Inyeop translate itself into a fiercely protective and warm brother that truly has the best intentions for them. Not to mention the surprising witty and daring side to him they discovered. Of course, it goes without saying that even the biggest of buckets are at risk of overflowing. Still heavily ridden with guilt because of his past and the high levels of stress they are under do tend to get the best of him now and then. When he does reach that limit, he can be rather harsh to the point of being cutthroat. In this case, it's best to stay away from him. Though unless he has a good reason, he strongly avoids focusing his anger on a specific person; usually opting to let out his frustrations elsewhere. Luckily, sports has proven to be a way for him to blow off some steam to keep this from happening as well as the additional monthly therapy session. He has been learning to channel the guilt, regret and helplessness in regards to the loss of his child into something that empowers him, rather than pulling him down. Perhaps being the leader of the APEX boys was exactly what he needed in regards to that; helping him see that he could provide care for others still. And most of all, that despite his loss, there is still a future for him to move forward to. Even if sometimes he wants to give up. To those who know him well, they would spot him softening around kids and his juniors; visibly enjoying to care for them in a gentle way that might surprise you.

Idol in the O-POP Group APEX

Inyeop was discovered at the age of 14 by LSE during a public concert of his academy. He was playing the guitar and singing along and they greatly enjoyed his skills. He managed to join only two years later because of his strict and religious parents whom didn't think being an idol was an actual career. He only got to join that time around because he was approached once more by a representative and at the time his parents were struggling with money. It seemed like a reasonable bet; after all, Inyeop would still be attending school while being a trainee and have a specific place to be at every evening after school. He would train more than just his music skills there, they were told; as O-POP training also includes classes on how to manage a crowd, do public speaking and so on. Simply stated, valuable skills that would also prove to be useful to them if he were to fail as an idol. Honestly, it was their odd way of controlling him, because they would know where he was every evening and he couldn't be off doing something they didn't approve of. Soon he was added to the lineup of APEX and set to be their leader.

History

Inyeop's strongly devoted christian parents weren't always the easiest dealing with when growing up, but he never really knew any better. He was always a model student, did as he was told and hardly ever stepped out of that perfectly moulded box they had put him in. Everything went well like that until the moment he started going to high school and inevitably became more aware of how life could be when your parents weren't as strict. The contrast would've been even more jarring if he hadn't been accepted to LSE; because by the time they allowed him to join, it was also the time that any normal teen would've developed interest in more specific extracurricular activities. Inyeop sailed past those things quite well indeed; never the type to smoke, do drugs or go party and also taking his training quite serious. Naturally, what he could not escape was simple biology and soon he met a girl at school that he fell in love with. Foolish as he was, he got her pregnant at the age of 17, causing quite the drama within his family. Her parents didn't care about it though, so they decided to keep it; even if he had been conflicted at first. Not just because of his parents, but also because of his career. However, once Isa was born, he had never been more in love. What came next was a trying time of Inyeop doing his very best to juggle the responsibilities in his life; school, training and his daughter. What he forget in that equation was his girlfriend. She cheated on him when he was nineteen and left him for said guy. Despite the betrayal, he couldn't deny his own part and mistakes within the relationship and accepted his loss for what it was: trying to move on. And he would have done that successfully, if it weren't for the new boyfriend of his ex being abusive and involved in all kinds of illegal affairs. Was he supposed to stand idly by and watch his own daughter be put in danger? Of course not! So Inyeop tried to fight and gain custody. Unfortunately the justice system did not rule in his favor as he was only a trainee and did not have any proof . That in itself was a loss he found hard to accept; the sheer injustice of being 'just a dad' and supposedly not being capable of raising his own daughter by himself like a mother would. He had been willing to drop his career despite his chances of debut nearing fast, but it wasn't enough. They barely wanted to listen to his side of the story and the various times he had witnessed the aggressive tendencies of Isa's stepdad and the concerns it raised within him. Valid concerns, as it turned out. Because at the age of 2, Isa and her mother were fatally shot by said man. Being a mess, Inyeop momentarily took a leave of absence despite knowing he couldn't take too long. He couldn't hide the truth from LSE any longer because he truly needed help. They kept his secret safe and provided him with some time off and the extra help of therapy he has been counting on since then. Only after a few months he returned and was told he was to join the lineup of APEX as their leader; having showcased a strong resilience and workethic that LSE knew they could use. Ever since he has been doing just that; focusing on his career. He hardly has any contact with his parents and tries to continue on with his life as best as he can.

Calix quite literally checks all the boxes to his ADHD diagnosis. Hyperactivity, impulsivity, emotional dysregulation, procrastination, restlessness,... he has it all. In fact, you could almost consider it a miracle if you manage to get him seated for longer than 5 minutes. That is, unless it is one of his hyperfocus obsessions. The best example of this would be his absolute adoration and devotion to producing music. Whenever he gets into that zone, he will stay there for hours and anyone will struggle to break him out of that trance. Perhaps that is why he chose not to be an idol in the end. Although he loves dancing, singing and rapping quite a lot, it never achieved the same effect as producing did. Instead, he was always quite all over the place during practices and found it hard to deal with the stress of the rather fast-paced O-POP industry. No, Calix much more prefers to be on the more flexible side of things; taking his time making his music and taking on occasional extra jobs if they catch his fancy in some kind of way. In fact, he has proven himself to not only be a very skilled producer, but also to be quite proficient at the general management of others. Instructing idols well during their recordings and taking on leadership roles during varietyshows with ease; it all showcases surprising leadership skills one wouldn't necessarily expect from Calix. It's a given that Calix really needs that kind of more laid-back approach to things. Too high stresslevels trigger him to the point of either withdrawing completely or acting out in rather extreme ways. His emotional dysregulation fluctuates too easily between being overexcited and lashing out a bit too harshly. Because of this, his reactions do tend to be disproportionate to the situation; something that would quite be the perfect summary of Calix: a bit too much. Positively and negatively undoubtedly; as Calix definitely is a moodmaker. If you ever had any outrageous intrusive thoughts before; expect Calix to act upon those very thoughts in the most hilarious of ways. His humour and impulsivity making quite the explosive combo that is well liked within the entertainment industry; it is no surprise he managed to make a name for himself despite already being known due to his older brother Jupiter. He often experiences guilt in regards to his brother's struggle with his career and how he had made it his own opportunity. Sadly, he struggles to voice that out loud, yet still tries to be in very close contact with the brother he views as somewhat of a father figure. For as chaotic of a presence that Calix is; he is definitely 'present' in more ways than one. Not just by being loud or boisterous; but by truly ‘being there’. He is someone you can count on and trust to have your back. Calix loves strongly in all kinds of ways; he’s charming, flirty and cheeky in his very own way. This side of him could easily be mistaken, however his intentions are genuine and he's far from a playboy. Undoubtedly, if Calix likes you, you’re bound to hear it from him anytime soon. Being far from shy; he states his preferences and opinions rather openly unless he can sense it’s inappropriate... That is, if he notices and doesn’t just blurt it out before the other person’s finished speaking. He does listen to feedback on the matter and understands he isn't always the easiest for everyone to be around. He has found this out the hard way and although he keeps a smile on his face through it all, admittedly it can hurt whenever people only see his diagnosis and not the actual person behind it all. Although Calix is by any means quite a handful; he also has an abundance of love and care to give to people around him. His struggles have made him to be a very openminded, enthusiastic, generous and warm person. Literally anyone, if he so wishes. Because after all, there’s enough Calix to go around!

With his brother being an idol, Calix all but grew up at the company and in the spotlight. Of course, once he showed even the slightest bit of interest in dancing and singing himself; LSE didn’t hesitate to put him into training in an attempt to hone his skills. Naturally, he was much like his brother; dancing skills, tone of voice,... Even in looks he didn’t disappoint as he grew older. He was put in the trainee group for what was to become the group APEX; spending time with the boys and getting to do things that he loved. However, as time passed, he found himself a newer and stronger passion in the form of producing music. Sitting hours in front of the computer producing his very own sound with his friends; it was yet another skill discovered by LSE that they couldn’t be happier about. Calix soon realised it was his biggest passion too; finding a new version of himself during this so-called hobby and beginning to look at debuting differently. He loved being in the spotlight a lot, but he loved sitting in the recording studio even more. Once shit hit the fan with his brother’s scandal; it was the out that Calix needed; citing the risk of putting a bad stain on APEX’ record and damaging the company’ as his main reason. In all the chaos, they agreed and allowed him to stay behind the scenes. Ever since, Calix has been working for them as a producer and making a name for himself. Due to his unique position of being with the company for this long, he certainly has been giving some extra benefits. His role in LSE extends far from what most producers go for; being a rather public figure with even MCing and variety show appearances.

He was grabbed as a trainee too soon and invested most of his attention and time in that. It was a given that after Jupiter’s scandal, he wouldn’t risk going down the same route himself.

History

Born into the 23rd as the youngest of the family; Calix’s childhood is exactly what you’d expect it to be like. They didn’t grow up wealthy by any means, but they managed to get by and appreciated whatever they had instead. In many ways, even that is still something that resonates deeply within Calix even now. After all, the 23rd never really leaves you, no matter where you go. Being a classic 23rd family all the way, the two brothers undoubtedly got their rebel side from their father who participated in the rebellion. Sadly, having no direct gang affiliation afterwards, their father soon got into trouble and was killed for his previous actions when Calix was still rather small. It was a confrontation the two brothers took their lessons from, albeit both in their own ways and partially unknowingly. The loss of his father meant Calix only started to look up to his big brother Jupiter even more. Such a role model causing him to become a very solid, confident and assertive person himself, despite the occasional struggles he experienced.

Dante is the type of person you’d want next to you during a crisis, as his ability to remain calm in even the most stressful of situations is quite impressive. Looking at things in a logical and practical way, he keeps his feet on the ground and makes clear, rational decisions. It’s very rare to see him lose his cool and when you do it’s usually because you pushed him too far out of his comfort zone and ran straight into his stubborn attitude. Because he has the tendency to calculate most of his steps and takes his responsibilities very seriously, he has difficulties with accepting he is wrong and will get somewhat bratty about it. Dante means what he says, and he says what he means; committing almost too strongly too everything he goes for. He’s known to willingly pick up slack for others and overstretch himself. Something he struggles with setting boundaries for indeed. Speaking of boundaries, Dante takes a while to warm up to most people; causing him to come across as cold and rude. It doesn’t help that he states things in such direct ways and approaches the world in a logical, realistic sense. Things such as emotional manipulation or mind games would collide too strongly with his morals, which make him take on the world with a sense of sincerity and honesty. However, it is this strong sense of right and wrong combined with his dutiful and hardworking attitude that makes up for someone you can truly count on. Dante’s incredibly loyal once he opens up and a promise from his mouth truly means something. Once you break through Dante’s shell, you can easily find a way to appreciate his realism and dependability, while he will, in turn, show immense respect back. While it’s not always easy to connect with him, once you get him to talk about a subject he is passionate about, he can go on for hours.... Just... Don't expect him to go too far out of his comfort zone.

"I find the worst of demons, don't come out at night..." Rocky is a very private and calm person. He likes to keep his feelings and thoughts to himself; preferring not to draw attention unless he’s on stage. He enjoys being alone just as much as he likes having his loved ones around...as long as he gets to recharge in silence afterwards, enjoying his hobbies. Having high standards and being very idealistic are Rocky's biggest downfalls; he puts himself under a lot of pressure by being too perfectionistic and feeling inadequate when things go differently than expected. Now, Rocky's always been rather quick witted and despite being an introvert at heart, he lets out his relaxed side around his small circle of trusted people with ease. They get to see the quirky, joking side of Rocky and how his compassionate nature makes him such a good listener and overall supportive friend. He truly needs his friends, as they are the ones to stop him from overworking and pushing himself too hard due to his overthinking and extreme passion to do well. After all, he genuinely loves singing and dancing, but it also means he will go to great lengths to make his and his friends' dreams come true. Especially after the hiatus. Despite being overly critical of himself, those he cares for can do no wrong. He will put you on a pedestal and adore you; he will be there for you 24/7, hold all your secrets and remain loyal to a fault. Ironically, it has gotten him hurt before, as he truly believed London and him would make it through all the drama together. After that hiatus in his career, Rocky has somewhat hardened in this aspect; showcasing a sharper side of himself in order to protect himself and to cover up how he's been beating himself up over it. After all, Rocky truly struggles with opening up to people; never wanting to burden others. Still, being so self-aware and rather good at reading people, he knows it’s important to allow others to show their care and love for him in their own ways and will always accept it. Even if he won’t always follow through with their advice afterwards. He can be quite stubborn about things like this, believing his own ways are what’s most right for him despite being proven wrong in the past.

Idol in the O-POP Group APEX Rocky debuted in APEX when he was close to becoming 19. Of course this was a big deal to the boy who had been aspiring to become an idol from a young age, though he did follow his friend, Calix, specifically, as he was adamant that their company was the best one as his brother was there too. Rokhun didn't train for very long, as he had been attending vocal and dancing classes even way before he applied.

History

Spending almost all his days at his parents Korean traditional culture center, Rocky's entire childhood was heavily influenced by their heritage. He was trained in various traditional arts from a young age - which has given him a very strong appreciation and love for said cultural arts as well. Calligraphy, folk dance, music instruments such as daegeum and samulnori, taekwondo, ... he's seen it all. Of course he had his favorites and focused specifically on a few of them, just as much as his sister did. When Deokhye arrived, Rokhun was more than happy to go around and tell everyone how the true princess of the Kwon family had now arrived. Sure, his mother lovingly called him her Prince more than often, but his angelic little sister took the crown! Safe to say their childhood was a happy one, though not without its occasional struggles. However, having something so special to share with your family truly has brought them even closer together. Despite their childhood being so heavily influenced, Rocky can wholeheartedly say he still adores the cultural center and all the skills it has brought him. Even though he can't dance that type of dance so often, it is still something that has helped him a lot throughout his career.

Moongyu is one of those people who always balances on the verge between assertive and arrogant. His strong-willed, dominant and self-confident ways would undoubtedly intimidate anyone who’s slightly more sensitive and timid. However, we can’t deny he is also someone who gets things done. He’s determined to go after what he wants and won’t let people stand in his way without them having a logical reason as to why they are there. Because of that, he is someone you can count on to get things done and to do so in an efficient and inspiring way. You can’t deny it’s definitely impressive to see him step into that role of confident, charismatic leader when he does so. Though, Moongyu also knows when to take a step back and let things be.... when he’s around people he cherishes. They have proven themselves to be worthy of his time and earned his respect. In that case, he’s the kind of friend you can rely on and trust with your life. However, lose his respect and you’ll definitely struggle to gain it back; his ruthless and unforgiving ways being a deadly combo with his slightly.. petty tendencies and extreme stubbornness. You’re in for a treat when you really piss him off though, because the previously mentioned determination will now be focused onto you. What is just playful teasing and prodding with his friends, can be easily viewed as bullying and targeted attacks when it comes to people he dislikes. It’s a fine line indeed.... but he’s not one to hold back. Moongyu has a keen eye for details, yet he is less perfectionistic as one would believe. In fact, despite his charismatic and confidence attitude, he is more than realistic enough to know nothing, nor anyone, is ever perfect. When it comes to his work though, he certainly tries to achieve as such; wanting his edits to be as perfect as they can be. Though he knows that even then, his impatience and slightly flammable attitude tends to get in the way. Of course, it is to be expected that Moongyu struggles to get along with people and not let his more arrogant side take the upper hand. He has taught himself to swallow his words and that, despite him thinking it’s ‘his way or the highway’, that he can’t always have things be the way he wants them to be. It speaks for itself that occasionally this is easier said than done... His sharp tongue logically bites him in the ass more often than once.

History

Moongyu’s childhood was relatively normal and uneventful. He grew up with his best friend Jein nearby and all was well up until the moment he accidentaly broke something she held dear. It was an accident, really, but the way she reacted to him set him off just as much as the breaking had triggered her. Being very alike as friends was all fun and games until their stubborn, flammable attitudes butted heads. Things exploded and ever since, Moongyu and Jein have no spoken again and went their own ways.

With a high average IQ and ADHD as quite an explosive mix, Kihan would’ve been able to make it big if he had not been so closed off and impatient. He has a very logical and analytical way of thinking, which often pegs him as the brains behind any operation. However, his intellect has also caused him to be easily annoyed by the lack of understanding others have when he voices his ideas and opinions. He expects them to understand and follow accordingly at a fast pace much like his own... which honestly doesn’t happen very often. Even as a young boy he often felt alone and disconnected from his peers... And it has caused him to be relatively distrusting of other people and mostly rely on himself. It’s not unlike him to voice annoyances either; whether it’s done by snapping or even more violent outbursts. Which shows he’s not completely emotionally unresponsive but rather has a lot of things bottled up. After all, he grasps the context of empathy and is relatively socially aware. It's just that logic and rationality is much more easy to understand than his own illogical and irrational feelings. Thus, he decides to ignore it most of the time. Throughout the years, Kihan has fought hard to find a place to belong. It was too easy for the young boy to follow his big brother into the darker sides of Pacifica and escape into various illegal activities. They stimulated his brain and helped him discover coping mechanisms for his issues. Of course Kihan got lost too easily in the Pacifica nightlife; finding a way to wind down through parties, alcohol and drugs. It’s his escape just as much as his addictions are; a place where his chaotic and whirlwind of a mind can find some peace. Deep down, he hopes to find that in a person someday; someone who can make him feel calm and help him break out of his own mind. The lack of know-how when it comes to showing feelings or even supporting others he cares about, together with the incessant substance abuse, has also caused him to mostly take a step backwards and maintain that disconnected and reserved attitude. However, he is loyal and he definitely cares, he just doesn’t really know how to show it in softer ways than his own straightforward, blunt attitude. Running away is so much easier than having to face reality. Not just in regards to those he loves, but also his own inability to make something more out of his life, despite him wanting to.

Some would call it unemployed, Kihan describes it as being a freelancer. He often gets hired here and there, doing the odd jobs that’ll get him some extra money. The Empire also often relies on him for small jobs. It’s safe to say he’s mostly involved in illegal activities...even dealing drugs occasionally.

As mentioned before, Kihan is involved with the Empire much like his brother, Daehan. He is, however, not involved in the casino and mostly participates in the more illegal side of activities. Dealing, heists, problem solving, you name it. He will use his brain and his brawn to get the job done.

History

Looking up at his big brother, Kihan followed him straight into the arms of the Empire and hasn’t looked back since. It’s not that their family wasn’t a supportive one; but it was one in a dozen when it came to Pacifica. They tried, they really did. But in a place like this it was nearly impossibly to keep your kids away from crime and especially so if your dad also wasn’t shy from doing the odd little jobs for gangs here and there. Having little to no connection with his peers, Daehan allowed Kihan to show his intellect and eagerness to please: causing him to become a valueable asset even at a young age. Both brothers did what they could to make their presence count and soon found their own ways. Kihan jumped from job to job; liking the change and the fact that he never had to hold too much responsibility for too long. Combining that with his eagerness to party and find his own escape from his mind; it was a good thing for him to not be as tied down as Daehan was to a particular job. Kihan was called upon when needed and thus far, has managed to make a decent life for himself.

Extravagant, showy and assertive; Minki’s the type of person who you just know feels comfortable in his own skin and isn’t afraid to fully be himself. He’s so openminded and talkative, he’s quite the easy person to be around and be charmed by. Inspiringly so, even; as he doesn’t feel the need to fit in and often finds himself doing things in his own way. Minki truly doesn’t lack confidence and shows himself off quite easily; physically and emotionally... However, Minki values his privacy immensely. Due to him living as an idol, this definitely proves to be challening at times, but he knows what to give away about himself and when he wants to do it. He does so to protect himself and those he cares about at all costs. It does give him this air of mystery and make him all the more alluring. Though his genuine and carefree nature usually manages to steer himself away from anyone thinking he’s closed off or cold. Charming as he may be, it's not unlike Minki to occasionally attempt to escalate conflicts to simply ‘see’ where it goes. Poke the bear, of sorts. Perhaps to satisfy his curiosity in general or just to cure his boredom. After all, Minki likes to keep himself busy; going from one little project or fascination to the other. It can manifest itself in many ways; from hobbies to flings or even his obsession to get a choreo perfected. Minki’s compeltely in tune with his own sexuality and his wants and needs. He likes to take things day-by-day and goes after what he wants without any shame. Living in the here and now is admirable indeed, but it has definitely made him afraid of commitment. Not that he’d show you that; his relaxed attitude and straightforwardness keeping you from suspecting any fears. After all, he sees no point in beating around the bush and prefers to be direct about his communication.... Just... perhaps not his feelings if he can avoid it.

History

Minki’s father is an A-grade asshole with little to no shame. It wouldn’t be wrong to describe him as an incel, as he was always quick to point the finger at women and not himself as a self-proclaimed ‘nice-guy’. Of course it didn’t come as a surprise that this man turned to a prostitute and, ironically, managed to knock her up after a while. Claiming to want to do the right thing, he took in this woman and offered her the world. Logically, his mother whom had very little going for herself and barely any support system to back her up – jumped at the chance and decided to take a leap of faith. One that, inevitably, would backfire immensely. Truth be told, his father never truly got over the profession of his mother and used it as a constant means to an end to degrade and control her. She was too sexy, too openminded, too friendly towards other men, too this and too that. At first his mother was fine with staying home for Minki, but eventually she couldn’t take it anymore. Being held down, having little to no say in her own life and having her suspicions in regards to her pregnancy..... She needed to get out. Sadly, her only way out was a return to her old world. One she felt comfortable and safe in... But one she couldn’t take 6 year old Minki to.... She tried. She tried so hard. But no judge would ever see her side of the story in the black and white picture his father painted. Thus, Minki was left behind with a father who constantly saw his mother in him and restented him for his resemblance to her. It wasn’t just a physical thing. Growing up, Minki was just as outspoken, flamboyant and free-spirited as her. He loved dancing, acting, singing. The spotlight was Minki’s place just as much as his mother seemed to always be able to pull the attention to her with her looks and charisma. His father described this qualities as sinful and grotesque... which was in line with how he had been turning more and more towards his local church... yet another thing Minki clashed with. In short, Minki was far from the manly man his father wanted him and pushed him to be. Something that often led to agressive outburst from his father and many nights where he ran away.... It didn’t come as a surprise to his friends that Minki decided to be an idol and instantly cut ties with his father when he got accepted to a company. Occasionally the man tries to reach out to him, something Minki tries his very best to block. He keeps his family’s history well hidden and has only visited his mother a few times, despite still thinking of her rather fondly.

Personality

Energetic and assertive, Lennox loves to go out and try new things instead of sitting around and waiting for them. He’s the type to leap before he looks and will fix any mistakes as he goes. After all, life is to be enjoyed, right? With his abundance of charisma and outspoken nature, it’s not unlikely to see lennox making a whole lot of friends and flitting from person to person. However, bold as he is, he will easily make it known when something, or someone, isn’t up to his standards. Due to the rational and practical approach he has to things, he often comes across as insensitive and finds emotionally charged situations a bit awkward. However, he does tend to open up to people he’s close with, as showcase by his close friendship with London. 

Lennox doesn’t like to feel boxed in and tends to struggle with the more constructive side of an idol’s life. ‘Rules are meant to be broken’, he feels. However, it is clear he feels very comfortable under the spotlight and isn’t willing to give that up either. He’s a performer in and out and truly comes to life on stage. If anything, he even has a slight arrogant side to himself; being slightly overconfident in his skills and appeal. Lennox knows he doesn’t have the most handsome face out of all his hyungs, but he knows how to use his charms and wit to get himself noticed nonetheless. He is indeed balancing on that fine line between arrogant and lovable. His puppy eyes and the fact that he isn’t shy from using any sucking up being his saviors whenever he does get in trouble. 

Having grown up surrounded by wealth and fame, Lennox tends to spend money a bit too freely and prefers a rather lavish lifestyle. He barely realises he does so and tends to be a bit wasteful with things. Luckily, his friendly and almost golden-retriever-like excitement and love towards his friends makes him quite eager to share.

Lennox’s dad is a famous Korean variety show host and has acted in a few shows himself. His mother is an actress. Logically, it almost seemed inevitable that their kids would follow in their footsteps. Lennox did so too, but only after he graduated high school did he want to actually venture into the world. His choice to go to Pacifica instead of Korea stems from his adventurous side and strong will to make his own name and not just sail on by on his parents’ fame. He joined when he was 17, making him the one with the shortest training period out of all the R.I.O.T boys.

History

With both parents being part of the entertainment industry themselves, it wasn’t entirely surprising to have all four kids follow suit. Having grown up in Sydney, Lennox applied to the company in an open audition and felt rather sure of himself. He had every right to be, and soon he was on his way to Pacifica. Despite having famous parents, Lennox’ childhood was exactly as it should be; though definitely on the wealthier side of things. His parents even bought an apartment downtown so they can visit him comfortably and he has a place to stay if wanted. Lennox is used to living comfortably and grew up seeing the entertainment world up close. Which is perhaps why he instantly seemed to comfortable in it.

Roha's big mouth and rowdy behaviour is in rather stark contrast with his tiny heart. Constantly surrounded by beautiful and talented people, it's not surprising for the young man to have developed certain complexes. Some may be built on stronger grounds than the others, but regardless they are there and hard to avoid. Despite this being something he needs to work on, it’s also quite endearing to witness his surprise to being loved so strongly by his fans and people around him. Despite all of this, Roha has managed to mask his insecurities well enough and hardly ever would he be viewed as insecure by the main public. In fact, he strongly makes up for it with being the moodmaker of any group he’s part of. Unbeknownst to him, it’s one of his many charming points. He’s quirky – and doesn’t hide it all too well- and his off-the-wall statements occasionally can leave you speechless. His ability to make even the sourest of people crack a smile somehow, would be considered one of his biggest feats. All in all, this ball of energy has lots of charming points to offer and can easily melt your heart. Being raised mostly by his mother and older sister, he’s very close to them and highly respects woman because of it. It showcases itself in his gentler and softly caring moments. Roha’s acts of service moments are, next to physical touch, how he shows his love. However, he prefers to do so in subtle ways, rather than grand gestures. Those are, after all, reserved for special moments. He thoroughly enjoys teasing those he cares about and doesn’t shy away from pushing their buttons to his liking. However, it is clearly anything but menacing and Roha’s generally comes across as a kind and caring person. Just one that has a bit too much energy, is a tiny bit stubborn and likes to occasionally rock the boat a bit.

As a young child, Roha always had an interest in the more dramatic side of things; acting to his hearts content in school plays and, well, being a bit overdramatic occasionally. His parents thought his ambitions would steer in that direction as well; leading towards being an actor or a comedian. He’d follow in his father’s footsteps; who was a comedian himself. Despite his interests in acting, Roha knew that it was a difficult market to debut in, whereas he knew his current company was looking for new boys to complete their idol group back then... He joined Kyu, Dante and Roeun when he was 16. The promise of getting to debut ‘soon’ was enough for him to pursue this career; as it guaranteed him with the ability of making extra money for his mother...Besides, being an idol is a little bit like acting, isn’t it?

History

Sadly, at the age of 9 Roha lost his father in a tragic car accident; one he was part of himself as well. He came out unscathed but with a fear of driving and too heavy traffic. Usually he ends up putting on music and closing his eyes, trying to make it through whatever transport he has to sit through for work. The accident left him alone with his mother and sister; Hayi. That in itself was a tough time; one his mother tried to work through as best as she could. However, due to stress, she starting smoking again and was diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease a few years after. Because of this, Roha and his sister try to contribute as well as they can. Their mother struggled finding work and they had to help bringing in extra money, especially with all the hospital bills. By now his mother walks around with a portable oxygen tank and has a personal caretaker around her whenever she isn’t in the hospital. Both Roha and Hayi have pursued a career within the entertainment business, knowing it was within their capabilities and also would help their goal of taking care of their mother.

Quiet, introspective and reliable would be the easiest words to describe Roeun. He's not someone you'd expect to be an idol and you're not wrong in saying he doesn't quite live for the attention part of it. For Roeun it's something he grew to love and a convience, rather than an actual dream of his. However, he's an overachiever at best, being involved in figureskating and archery from a young age.. So being an idol became yet another goal to achieve for the young boy. After all, Roeun grew up with the strong need to feel like he had to achieve better, do better and most of all, provide for his mother what his dad failed to do the moment his secret of the second family came out... Honestly, it's no surprise that Roeun decided to take his chance after being streetcasted by the company. His more calm, collected and somewhat brooding attitude has made him the perfect mysterious idol as well as a strong leader; which he mostly shows through strong leadership skills and the amazing ability to keep the boys in check and keep both groups organised during hectic moments. Roeun might not be one to talk very often, but when he does, you know it will matter.

Roeun knows how to work hard, perhaps too hard, and won't easily give up on something. He's persistent, if not somewhat stubborn. Despite it being a good quality to push on through hardships, Roeun also has to learn to accept defeat somewhat faster before he allows himself to burn out completely. There's no shame in giving up now and then, though he has yet to fully learn that.

Soft smiles and caring words; Roeun knows it's better to lead through positive reinforcement rather than an iron fist. However, despite this, the boys also know not to push it too far. Roeun's relatively lenient with them until he senses any risk of harm to their career, the boys' images or well, their hearts. Despite not necessarily wanting this career, for Roeun the boys and girls of H.U.S.H and R.I.O.T are his family now. And he'll be damned if something happens to them on his watch.

Roeun's dad thought he was slick having 2 families; one in China (with Zheren) and one in PC. So that was a blow when his mom discovered that when he was like 10. In the end, his dad left, but luckily his mom had a great support system and managed to support Roeun and his sister, Romi rather well. Ever since, Roeun has been trying to be the man of the family and 'do better'. Which is why he wanted to become a lawyer so he could support his mom and their family even better.
