STAX SRS-002 IN-THE-EARSPEAKER SYSTEM SRM-002+SR-002 [Japan IMPORT]: Home Audio & Theater
This is an exceptional product providing extremely high quality sound at a reasonable price . It shares many of the same sonic characteristics as the Stax 009 selling at about 8 times the cost . I'm using it with the AK120 and I truly can find nothing to fault in the playback of DSD and other high resolution file formats . Highly recommended .

HiFiMan - HE-500 Headphones: Home Audio & Theater
Having owned nearly every high end Sennheiser, AKG, Grado, and Denon headphone model- as well as Stax and Audeze- I can say with confidence that these phones are unique. Extended, natural low end, crystalline treble without grain, and an enveloping sound stage provide a really enjoyable musical experience. In my opinion, the HE-500 joins the Audeze LCD-2 and LCD-3 in delivering the best available headphone experience. Unlike the excellent Audeze products, the HE-500's are easy to drive to boot. I can't recommend this headphone more highly.

NIU Wireless Bluetooth Headband With Bluetooth Stereo Removable Headphone And Sweat Guiding Belt Perfect For Fitness Sports Air Travel Meditation Relaxation And Sleep (blue): Home Audio & Theater
I tried lots of brands of these for sleeping. These are the most comfortable for the price point, but still a little bulky for side sleeping unless you use a feather pillow.

It does a super job. The only two issues I have with it is; It doesn't have any HDMI inputs and If you aren't fluent in Japanese, you must be prepared to experiment on getting it set up.

Bluedio U Plus (UFO) Pro Extra Bass Wireless Bluetooth PPS12 Drivers Over-Ear DJ Headphones (Black): Electronics
My headphone collection is large. I'm very hard to satisfy when it comes to listening to music, so over time I've probably spent a couple of thousand dollars on headphones. Here's what I've learned ... there is no such thing as one headphone for every purpose. The three primary functions a headphone can perform are generally one of these:A. Serious music listening – according to personal preference some will want the headphone to sound “realistic” and others will want it to sound ”impressive”B. Live recording monitoring – minimal coloration of the sound for studio monitoringC. Convenience – lightweight headphones or earbuds where comfort and portability reign over perfect sound reproductionThe differences between listening styles a, b and c are like night and day. For the purpose of this review I’ll state up front that these headphones are not studio monitors nor are they a cheap pair of earbuds so for the rest of the review I’ll talk about them for “serious music listening”At one time the brand name on a pair of headphones was everything. Today it is possible that a headphone from a famous name may sound like garbage while a pair from a no-name company may sound awesome. Faced with some aggressive marketing claims from this manufacturer I agreed to audition a sample pair for purpose of an unbiased review. Like I said, I'm serious about headphones and if these are junk I'll tell you that. For my own "serious" listening I feel I must own at least two pairs of good headphones, one pair for “kick back close my eyes and immerse myself in music” those would be the pair where the artists sound like they're performing just for me (classical, jazz, most vocals, etc). That pair of headphones would be of traditional design with little-to-no EQ or coloration. Then for the other pair that I want them to pop the guts out of the music with ear-bleeding bass and a sizzling high-end. That pair of headphones should have free reign to mess with the sound in every possible way to make my head turn into jello. That would describe how the Bluedio U Plus is marketed. Does it succeed? For my audition I listened to about 35 music tracks representing a wide variety of music then settled on Lil Wayne ft Chris Brown - "Drop it low" to be my reference standard to test on my top 10 favorite headphones and come up with a winner winner chicken dinner. I picked that song because it is very cleanly recorded with excellent bass and clearly defined vocals. It runs the frequency range almost like a “test record”. The successful headphones had to make my eyes bulge, my lips smile and had to pass the test of getting my friends to agree on a winner. This test took DAYS to complete. This was not some random 5 minute test. I tested headphones from Koss, Sony, Panasonic, Sanyo, Bose and other models from Bluedio. I was after trunk-rattlin' bass-travelin' face-crackilin' sound … after all that’s what Bluedio promised me in promoting these phones, right? Here’s where a review like this gets tricky because I can’t write in words what my ears hear and I certainly can’t write what you’ll hear. All I can tell you is that whatever magic the manufacturer used to make the bass go down that low works. Of all of the models I tested with that song these hurt my ears the most.So they make good bass, how comfortable are they to wear and how soon before they get boring when I listen to other stuff. I kept them on for several hours skipping all over my music collection, which is pretty eclectic. Jazz smooth? Yes? Classically accurate? Pretty much. Honest vocals? Very much. How about disco? (just kidding). It turns out that the U Plus are a better-than-average sounding headphone and they don’t weigh a ton. The cups cover the ears and block out most external sound but don’t fit too tight or too loose. The headband is comfortable and there’s a cool scale for the adjustment so you can tell at a glance if they’re adjusted right BEFORE you put them on. The cord locks in so it won’t pull out if you jerk your head and it doesn’t pick up noise if it rubs against your clothing. Like the other high-end Bluedios it comes in a tough form-fitted carrying case for travel.I mentioned that I started by listening to about 35 tracks, directly comparing some of them with other brands and models of headphones. After giving the U Plus phones a little time to break in I ended up spending much of the night before writing this on a music binge. I couldn’t tale the phones off and I kept thinking to myself how “listenable” they are. Yes they color the sound somewhat and do some tricks on the lowest registers but they never sound fake. The more I listened the more I started picking out things in songs I’ve listened to dozens of times but this time I was hearing they in a fresh new way. I was left with the definite impression that these are going to be one of my favorite pairs of headphones.I would recommend this model for someone who has a wide taste range of music styles but favors really deep pumping bass. For the price they are worth it.

Beyblade Multi-Device Stereo Fold-up Headphones and Carry case: Home Audio & Theater
I purchased this case for my son and he likes it a lot , what I didn't like about this case was that the carrying case looks bigger on the screen and it's much smaller when you receive it. other than that no complaints.

AUDEZE LCD-4 Reference Open Circumaural Headphone: Home Audio & Theater
During my second tour in Iraq as a soldier in the United States Army, my ears were damaged by a VBIED: Vehicle Borne "Improvised Explosive Devise" or car bomb. Ever since 2008, I just accepted the fact that I can't enjoy my music in the same way as I use to. After I got out of the Army I started my own company and my quality of life vastly improved. Still my ears were missing something. Well a friend told me about a company that caters to the uber sound fans and he told me that this might be my answer to my issue. I said I would give them a try by was not sure if anything could be done for me since I had tried a lot of different things.Fast forward to June 2016 and after one month of use, I can say that I'm hearing things that I had not heard in eight years. I even forgot that certain sounds exists in music. I was in tears the first time I played Pavaroti's Rigoletto. I won't pretend to know what a deaf person goes through but I feel like I may have experienced something like what they go through if they were cured or received a hearing aid. This device really does make a difference. They really did an amazing job in creating what I feel is the best pair of listening device I have ever used. I would have paid four times the cost for what I received. Even before you put these on, you can feel the quality in the material. The real wood, leather and metal is just amazing feeling.I have since purchased two more models. One for my office and other as a gift. If you have the income to spend on this and the right type of music to listen to than I suggest you splurge on it. You won't be sorry.

AKG N20U Canal Type Earphone Android/iOS Switch Remote Mic Silver: Home Audio & Theater
I got these N20's directly from AKG/Harman's website. they are $129.99 earphones. Buy them directly if amazon's price is higher.First off, these are NOT bass-emphasized at all. very neutral sounding lows for earbuds in this category, where most have "enhanced bass" - which basically means muddy emphasized midbass. They are relatively detailed for earbuds in this price range, with somewhat strange mids/highs. i guess the mids are pretty recessed, and the highs are somewhat bright. it's a strange combo without emphasized bass, but i prefer it to most lower priced earbuds. but the bass is pretty punchy and detailed, and goes low for an earbud. They isolate outside noise pretty well, as most in-ears do.The construction is pretty nice, with a brushed aluminum body and a weird, flat plastic side for holding. the tips are slightly angled, so adjusting in-ear is usually required to get the perfect seal and fit inside the ear canal. the cable is woven fabric from the jack to the controls, and the controls work and have a switch to allow for use with both iOS and android devices. These buds also included an airplane travel adapter, which takes the 2 mono airplane jacks and turns it into the normal stereo jack. These are designed for portable use, but i plugged them into my Magni/Modi 2 stack and played some lossless music because why not, and it appeared to fix the slightly-too-recessed mids, and the bass sounds much punchier. the Highs sounded... unnatural. too sharp.TL;DR; Great, if strangely bright, headphones that are more honest than most earbuds at this price range.

Focal - Clear Headphones: Electronics
These are definitely more resolving with better upper mids than the Focal Elear, and a bit less brittle in the highs than the Utopia. Both are headphones which I have had in-house and reviewed in the past. The build quality on the Clear is basically the same as the Elear, but it looks cooler due to the silver/grey color. And, Focal finally includes nice cables that make sense with the Clear, versus the way too heavy and super long cables they included on both the Elear and Utopia. The included hard case is also something that is very well designed and fits the headphones perfectly.I've stated before that I didn't feel the Utopia's were worth the $4,000 price tag, and I think Focal probably agrees since they then lowered the price by about $1,000. I think the Clear is worth the money. And with regards to the Elear, I liked them for the price, but thought there was an audible upper midrange hole in the frequency response, on many vocals, something just felt missing. The Clear sounds closer to the Utopia than it does to the Elear. When comparing them to my Sony MDR-Z1R, they certainly sound a bit brighter, with less bass. This is to be expected given that the Focal Clear is a very open headphone whereas the Z1R is a closed headphone. I do long for a bit more bass with the Clear, however you can boost the bass using some digital EQ. In the end, these are quite resolving headphones with a slightly lean sound signature when comparing them to warmer headphones such as the Sony Z1R or Audioquest Nighthawk. The sound stage while quite wide, still seems not quite as wide as with Sennheiser HD800/S by the way.The Focal Clear bridges the gap between the Elear and the Utopia models well. I suspect it will eat in to sales of both the Elear and Utopia. My guess is Focal is likely working on a Utopia 2 for a super expensive flagship headphone, and the Elear may be discontinued.I will be updating this review as the headphones get more "burn-in" and I also listen to them more, so be sure to check back.NOTE: Mine did arrive with a defect in the finish of the mesh on one side. It looked as if the factory did not get a good silver coating on the mesh. I had to sent them back and think Focal could have done better with quality control here.UPDATE: When direct comparing the Focal Clear to my Sony Z1R, the Z1R sounds more engaging due to increased lower bass response and also smoother vocals. Example, when playing the recently remastered release of Metallica's Master Of Puppets album, on the Clear it sounds good and analytical whereas on the Z1R, it's more 'right on' and engaging. Also quite interestingly, the Z1R has about the same wide sound stage as the Clear. The Clear has a narrow sound stage for headphones as open as they are, whereas the Z1r has quite a wide sound stage for closed headphones.HEADPHONES I CURRENTLY OWN:Sony MDR-Z1RAudioquest NighthawkShozy Zero earbudsApple Ear Pods (hate them for music, only use for phone calls/podcasts)PREVIOUSLY OWNED:Focal Utopia (loaner)Focal ElearSennheiser HD800 SSony MDR-Z7Cardas A8 Ear SpeakersAudeze LCD-3Beats ExecutiveDenon AHGC20AKG Q701AKG K702 65th Anniversary EditionAudeze LCD-2Cardas Ear SpeakersV-Moda Crossfade M100Accidentally Extraordinary 51st StudioAudio-Technica ATH-M50BeyerDynamic DT880 PremiumBeats ProFostex TH900Sony MDR-1rSennheiser HD600Sennheiser HD800Sennheiser HD598Denon D7000Denon D5000Ultrasone Pro 900 SKlipsch X10 EarbudsSony MDR-7506Sony MDR-V6Grado SR60

Peavey PVH 45 Professional Headphones: Musical Instruments
Keep in mind that these are "dynamic" and "professional" headphones. They probably are not best for entertainment purposes, as they do not produce the kind of amplification that really suits music. Perhaps if your job/class requires headphones, these are good.
