Big update!! I did not end up pregnant however I started my cycle on my own today. So I am CD 1! 🥰 yes I am very, very upset that I didn’t get a positive pregnancy test. However, I want to celebrate the fact that I even ovulated at all!
I also was able to confirm ovulation using the Proov tests. I am ordering those again along with ovulation test today! I’m excited to see where this cycle goes.
I’ve been taking myo and d-chiro inositol and vitamin d 5,000iu everyday! Plus of course a prenatal!
That’s really it for this update. I will share something interesting. When I woke up, I really underestimated how fast my cycle was going to show. As soon as I tried to sit up, I got that gushing feeling. You know exactly what I’m talking about! 😭 down my legs and all over the carpet! Time to jump in the shower after period poops lol

So...it has almost been a year since my last post. Things have happened but none of them are about pregnancy!
After several rounds of Letrozole, I never ended up pregnant and I only had one period. So I had surgery in November to get rid of endometriosis and for an ovarian drilling. After that surgery I was put on Orilissa for 3 months to restart my body.
That was in February when I stopped it and since then I had to wait a few weeks after stopping that medication plus get blood work. Then an ice storm happened. BUT now I have been able to try another round of Letrozole which caused a period. I had to restart it. I tracked my cycle with ovulation test strips. ...and guess what...
I FINALLY CAUGHT A LH SURGE. Y’all I cried and cried. This was the first time I’ve ever seen my body surge. I don’t know if I ovulated but I’m just forever grateful and happy that my body is “working” more.
The changes I did for this cycle was myo & d-chiro inositol, vitamin d, and prenatal vitamins!! Now I am in my two week wait. I’m officially 4DPO. 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾 praying that this is it!
P.s. My ovaries no longer look like a “string of pearls” associated with PCOS. It may be due to the surgery and/or supplements!

Another update!!
I am currently on my “second round” of Letrozole. The reason for quotations is because the first round caused me to have breakthrough bleeding, so, I was advised to restart that first round of Letrozole!
I’m not sure if I ovulated or not because I ended up needed my appendix out right during my “ovulation” window and couldn’t baby dance at all for a few weeks.
However! I did start a cycle on my own for the first time in over a year!!!! So I could have ovulated. So I started the next round of CD 3 and tomorrow is my last dosage. The only symptoms I’m having are hot flashes and increased libido. COMPLETELY different than clomid.
I start taking ovulation test ina. Couple of days and I’ll update you all when I get surge on the LH test!!
Thank you, XOXO

HUGE UPDATE!!
We thought about taking a break but decided to move on with finding a new fertility doctor. He is AMAZING. He’s very straight forward and he is all about black excellence!
He ran blood work and everything came back normal except my vitamin d levels. I no longer have PCOS due to bloodwork, it’s only due to a collection of physical symptoms. Also, He did an ultrasound and everything looks great.
Today I had a hysteroscopy. The most painful thing I could have experienced but I’m all in it for my future brown blessings. And guess what! Everything looked great and now we just wait on the tissue test results.
My appointment is next week and I think we finally get to start medication! I will be taking Letorzole instead of clomid.
Long post but HUGE update ❤️ Stay tuned. I will update more soon!

Well....
I think I may be pregnant, but I don’t want to get my hopes up. I’m afraid to take a test. I just want the possibility of it to stick around longer. It’s better than the crash and burn of a negative. This time I feel different but it could just all be in my head.
Symptoms:
Craving nothing but salt
Food taste weird. It’s like I can taste EVERYTHING in a dish. I can taste if noodles have been cooked in sink water.
I smell things very easily
Weird pelvic pain, especially when walking down stairs
Stomach pain and nausea with acid reflux
TMI: I’ve been pooping 3 times almost every morning. Even though I’m constipated.
The food tasting thing is what gets me because I’ve never had anything like that to happen. I couldn’t even eat Pringle’s because they tasted weird. 🥴 Thank you for letting me rant. I have been keeping this to myself! xoxo

It’s time for a break!
I said that if I didn’t get pregnant by new year, I was going to take a break and work on myself. So lately I’ve been planning to work on finances, mental health, and weight. Also, I’ve been feeling kind of lost. All I want to be on life is a mother, so I’m working on another a plan in the meantime!
Thank you to everyone for the support!! XOXO

Here we go again!
After a month or so of a break (due to traveling), I’m back in the swings with getting pregnant. I’ve taken my provera and now I’m taking clomid. I’m on 150mg for 5 days. Today is my last dosage.
I haven’t really had any symptoms this time except for extreme constipation and an extremely heavy cycle. Also, a clomid headache but I nipped that in the bud.
This time I’m going to try to do it without test strips and I’m only going to test for pregnancy on the day that my cycle is due. It’s just way too stressful to remember everything and to be focused on lines. I want to enjoy getting pregnant. If that makes any sense at all!
Thank you for reading my update xoxo

Next time 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾
My test results came back and shows that I didn’t ovulate. We will repeat the same course of treatment before moving on to something else. This breaks my spirit a little bit. I was for sure I was pregnant!
Next time better be it. Lol these depressive mood swings are nothing to play with. I almost called it quits but I made it through!

10 DPO ?!
Pregnancy test is negative. I know I’m not out until AF shows. HOWEVER I don’t get periods without medicine.
I also had my 21 day progesterone testing and won’t get the results until Monday or Tuesday. OPK says I may have ovulated but I don’t feel as if I did. But my emotions having me thinking otherwise.
I’m keeping my hopes up! I’ll keep testing until my doctor calls me with the results of my blood test!

*or dropping the cup in the toilet 😭
You know what I am looking forward to? Not peeing all over my hand while aiming into a cup so I can do some kind of test when I go to the bathroom. Positive or negative result at the end of this week, I am just looking forward to having a break from it.

OvaCue Monitor
Months ago I bought a monitor to track when I’m fertile. It looks at the enzymes in your mouth and vagina. It can pinpoint ovulation and it’s reported to be 98% or 99% accurate!
Okay, so this morning my vaginal numbers where 389. It has never been in the 300s! I tested over and over just to be sure (you’re not suppose to). The number stayed the same.
High numbers mean that your progesterone is high and estrogen is low, low numbers mean the opposite. Normally my numbers will get into the high 100s but then fall. Which mean I didn’t ovulate.
This time it looks like I’m producing a lot of progesterone and it’s a sure fire sign that I ovulated but I won’t fully know until my blood test!

Clomid
It has me depressed as I don’t know what. Emotions are hitting harder and harder. I really just want to run away to another city and start over. 🤷🏾♀️

PCOS Confidence Grant
I wanted to bring some awareness to The PCOS Diva/PCOS Challenge Confidence Grant because I know a lot of people struggle with the skin and hair aspects of PCOS but cannot afford to see a dermatologist or pay full price for treatment.
It was created to help women and girls struggling with hair and skin issues associated with PCOS. The grants are awarded in amounts up to $500 per individual to assist in costs with dermatology treatments, laser hair removal, or electrolysis.
The payments are made directly to the provider who is performing the treatments.
There are only 3 restrictions at this time:
You MUST be diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome by a physician.
You MUST be a legal permanent US resident.
You MUST be at least 18 years of age or application must be completed by a parent or legal guardian if the prospective grant recipient is less than 18 years of age.
You need to include a personal statement and other supporting materials, such as physician statement, a headshot, and photo showing why you are applying (acne, hirsutism, hair loss, etc).

I really need to state that I’ve tried for years with no luck. We are just now trying fertility treatments!
Hello everyone! I’m switching up this blog. I was going to add another “secondary” one but you can’t do as much with them. So I decided to change my main one into something else.
This will now be my TCC (Trying to Conceive) blog! We are trying for a baby and this would be our first one! I really need somewhere to vent and post about my tcc woes 🤗😴
