I know a lot of people hated the G3 characterization of Toralei (atleast at the beginning anyway) but honestly I like her so much better in G3, I couldn't stand her in G1 and this version of Toralei is the only thing that eventually made me come around to her first gen counterpart.

Anyway I feel as I watched G3's new take on Toralei it felt like they actually gave her a chance to redeem herself towards the ghouls slowly and it's more blatant in this version that she acts out and is vindictive because she's a lonely angry girl because of her own issues within herself and from lack of a good mother figure. All this to say I think G3 did a good job of portraying why Toralei is the way she is better than G1 and I think in this universe she has made her way to redemption by earning it where as in G1 I never really saw that same redemption for her aside from a glimpse of it in Great Scarrier Reef

The Ever After High series did have its faults in writing but man, I hate how it basically got nuked out of existence by the Disney Descendants IP. Maybe it was the soft fairytale aesthetics? But oh well, it do be like that
