About that scene in Episode 8 where Viktor goes “I will miss our talks” and Sky replies “No… You won’t.”

Am I misinterpreting it as her understanding that once the process is finished, Viktor will become something distinctly… not Viktor? And he will no longer have the capacity to miss anything?

I’ve seen a lot of people interpreting it as Viktor being a silly little gay (which is a valid interpretation because… I mean), but she didn’t seem heartbroken or crestfallen or anything of the sort… to me she seemed almost.. disturbed? Disturbed but accepting of what he would inevitably become? If that makes sense.

And it might just be me but Viktor seemed entirely genuine when he told her that he would miss their talks.
