I’m gonna say something

About that scene in Episode 8 where Viktor goes “I will miss our talks” and Sky replies “No… You won’t.”

Am I misinterpreting it as her understanding that once the process is finished, Viktor will become something distinctly… not Viktor? And he will no longer have the capacity to miss anything?

I’ve seen a lot of people interpreting it as Viktor being a silly little gay (which is a valid interpretation because… I mean), but she didn’t seem heartbroken or crestfallen or anything of the sort… to me she seemed almost.. disturbed? Disturbed but accepting of what he would inevitably become? If that makes sense.

And it might just be me but Viktor seemed entirely genuine when he told her that he would miss their talks.

You're probably right, but it's not the fact that viktor said "i will miss our talks" but the fact that sky said "no, you wont" in response to that.

Sky, the sky that did not let go of viktor when she died in season 1, the sky that stayed with him in season 2 act 2, the sky that wanted to confess to him since season 1. That sky is suddenly cool of being let go?, TO ME it just feels like the writers are looking me dead in the eye and telling me "sky is never coming back, and she didn't matter to viktor enough to be remembered by him" using sky as a mouthpiece.

And that is why i feel iffy about sky's addition in season 2, if sky feels that she's insignificant to be remembered by viktor, then me, the viewer, would also see it that, but i dont want too.

If your going to bring back a character that is previously been gone in the narrative, then add something new about that character, some background lore, previously unanswered questions, and what ifs scenarios. They've done it to silco, mylo, and claggor, why not do it in this character too. If they can't do it, then they shouldn't have brought her back in the first place, and that is whats bothering me. Sky feels like a sore thumb sticking out in season 2 of how out of place she is, which she shouldn't be.

PLEASE prove me wrong maybe im seeing this in a bad light, but the fact of the matter is sky got fridged twice...

It was fun while it lasted, sorry for caring about a character arcane. Should've not bring her back if she's just gonna be a symbolism of his humanity (which, by the way, a shitty way of writing a character..)

Viktors humanity is better represented with his actual human body, rather than adding sky in all of his cult adventure. Why add sky in the first place

Should've listened to the folks that said that sky feels like she's hammered in the plot.

Liked her character, never liked her inclusion in season 2 💀💀
