“Waylon, Waylon.”

Having repetively recited Waylon’s name for the few seconds they’d met, each annunciation expressed differently in tone and emotion, like an over-achieving actor who’d been given a one-liner in a play. Ethan was simply familiarising himself with the man’s name. After all, it’d be embarassing to forget the name of a person you met just after the initial greeting, and Ethan was well aware of the fragility of his own state of mind.

While making himself comfortable with his name, his beady eyes simultaneously flitted about as he examined the sight of Waylon. Taking note of his attire, body language, and appearance. He’d only built up the courage to speak out due to the familiarity of his camera though. Yet, it was noticeable that Waylon’s was much more modern compared to his own. Or well, the one he had aqquired from a rather unresponsive individual.

Brushing his hair back for a moment and taking a rather enthusiastic step forward to Waylon. Ethan held his left hand out to shake. It would of likely been more welcoming, if it wasn’t for the fact that he had some incredibly dodgy stitch work connecting his hand to his wrist and the grim toothy smile he put on display.

“Ethan Winters! It’s a pleasure.”

You have a camera... you don’t happen to be interested in home movies, right?

Waylon hadn’t seen the man and blinked at him, taking in his dishevelled state. “...Something like that. I’ve found a camcorder to be really handy to have around.” He halfheartedly explained as he slipped closer. 

“I’m Waylon Park, nice to meet you.”
