The little dog nudges its face into Nagito's hand. "And don't worry about walking him, I can get that covered so you don't get any sicker."

Hajime gestures towards the covered up box. It had holes in it, as if a living being was in the box. "Uncover it, Nagito. I thought you might appreciate what I got. You shouldn't be alone when I'm not home."

Should Nagito lift off the cover, he'd see a sleeping small puppy. Hajime feels he could maybe help keep the dog around as long as his boyfriend lasts, just to make his time a little easier.

Nagito is careful to take the lid off the box. His hands were shaking as he did, pale and trembling. He had been more unsteady in these days because of his declining health. It was almost tragic how hard everyone had been helping him and he only seemed to just decline.

How....unlucky.

His greygreen eyes laid upon the small animal, and his face softened in awe. He looked so small....so fragile.

Carefully he picked the creature up and held him in his arms. It looked like he was about to cry...it looked like he was a little scared.

"How cute...." He mumbles, needing to sit down before he collapsed under the weight of it. "Where...how..."

Hajime kneels down, petting the small puppy as it woke up. The poor thing was missing a chunk of its ear.

"I remember you said you used to have a dog. As your health gets worse, it hurts me that I can't always spend all day with you, and i found him. He's been going through training to get registered so you can have him around you all the time... Having a support animal might help.. he was a runt, and I've been trying to keep him hidden from you until he was almost ready. I hope he helps you even a little, Ko..."
