"Thank you." Aramil replied, finishing brewing the magic healing mixture. He was a healer and when he prescribed medicine he usually knew what he was doing. He also knew that not everyone likes magic, and not everyone trusts magic and chooses to take this route of treatment. It was always nice when someone said a nice thing and showed ordinary common gratitude.

When the mixture was ready, the elven mage poured the measured amount into a bottle then handed it to the man.

"Take this after meals in the morning and evening. You will soon feel better."

"You're more than welcome" He says as he watches the other prepare the mixture for him. Magic fascinated Marcus and he would go the magical route every time that he could. It was just something that he did. "Why wouldn't someone trust you when you tell them what a mixture is supposed to do, I mean I know that a lot of people don't trust magic but that's no reason not to believe a healer." Marcus looks at the other with a cocked eyebrow "Don't you get tired of it sometimes?"

He takes the bottle and tilts his head to the side "After meals in the morning and evening, got it. Is there a certain amount that I need to take or just to my discretion?" Marcus look back to the elven mage and cocks an eyebrow at him "I don't want to use it all before it has a chance to help." He gets a thoughtful look on his face and his brow furrows "This must be some potent stuff anyway if it only takes one bottle to make a man feel better." Marcus smiles then

Marcus looks at him with a thoughtful look on his face "Well then, more power to you but you still shouldn't be hunted just because of who and what you are. No, I bet they don't even bother to learn your name they just come after you because of what you are." He cocks an eyebrow at the other then tilts his head to the side "Am I wrong about this?"

"You really shouldn't have to be is what I'm saying." Marcus tilts his head to the side and cocks an eyebrow "I mean it's not really you're fault what you are now is it? Someone had to turn you right?" He then walks over to the window and looks out of it getting a thoughtful look on his face "I guess it is just something that you have to get used too."

Marcus leans his head against Bill's shoulder and was out before he knew it. He slept a bit fitfully thinking about all the things that could go wrong on the way to this mystery place and what could go down when they get there. Bill was right to be realistic and now his mind was throwing things at him that in his excitement he had overlooked. When he wakes he sits bolt upright from a nightmare and sees that it's still dark outside.

He gets up from his position on the ground and goes and finds a tree to hide behind to pee before coming back to their little camp. "I can watch now if you want to get some sleep Bill. I don't think I'm going back to sleep anytime soon after that nightmare." Marcus comes back over to the tree and sits back down for Bill to lean against should he need the sleep then turns his eyes to the shadows.

“Okay we leave in the morning and I have a store that I scooped out today that had a lot of canned food left over so we could go there and it’s north of here so there wouldn’t be any backtracking. I know how much you hate that by now.” Marcus then chuckles going over to his pack and looking inside of it “Yeah, we’re going to have to stock up, I’ve barely got anything left over here.”

“I’m not the biggest fan of the vagueness of this either but even if we don’t find someone we can always build ourselves a life up there or as close to a life as we can get so don’t get to down Bill. We can do this and maybe even find some of your friends on the way there or they might even be there already.” He chuckles then and goes over to the tree sitting on the ground and leaning back against the trunk “I could go to sleep now. What about you Bill?”

"I could teach you how to play the piano if you want too. I love teaching as much as I love playing and contrary to popular belief a pianist life is not all playing and practicing for the next concert. I do have some time for things that I love." Marcus chuckles looking at her "Not to be insulting but I wouldn't have thought you to be rich and snobby anyway. You seem like you've been nice like forever."

He looks at her thoughtfully then chuckles "I should take you stargazing outside the city one night just for fun. The stars are better to look at the further you get from the city, less what they call light pollution." Marcus then cocks an eyebrow looking at her "Just as long as you don't expect anything but star watching because I don't know their names or anything. It might be just some fun little something that we could do."

Gaze found the one speaking. Dreams and nightmares were nothing to play around with. She’d been plagued with nightmares and sleep walking within the expanse of her mortal life. Nightmares could be a signal for something far darker lurking in the shadows. 

“Well, it must have been pretty awful if it’s still plaguing you...”

"Yeah, I died in it and it was a messy death too. I bit it in a car crash all on my own which is one of my fears, dying alone." Marcus then chuckles and looks over at her out of the corner of his eye "I've been under a lot of pressure lately so that's probably why I'm having nightmares. I hope that's the only thing it is because I have no way to really know if it's a vision or not you know? I've never had them before so I think I'm safe from that at least."

He then tilts his head to the side and gets a thoughtful look on his face "I guess it could be a metaphor for something like a really bad performance or something of the sort and I really hope that's not true because I pride myself on my piano playing."

"Yes, I know it might be hard to believe but I'm just a guy that cares about my fellow man and really wants to help them out. I know there aren't many people like me anymore but I think that's what makes me special and not like anyone else. If everyone was just a carbon copy of everyone else then the world would be a very boring place to live in or at least that's what I think." Marcus then looks over at her and smiles softly

He cocks his eyebrow at her then and nods his head "I don't see why there's any reason why we shouldn't be friends either. You seem like you would be a good friend." Marcus then gets a thoughtful look on his face and shakes his head "I have the bed habit of giving everyone the benefit of the doubt, even the people who shouldn't be in my life you know what I mean. I'm not talking about you I'm just talking about people in general."

"Oh, I'm a concert pianist so I have a long life left ahead of me because I love playing and writing music." He looks at her and chuckles "I'm not going to go out and get myself killed if that's what you're worried about. I love my life and I don't plan on dying anytime soon, but if the need arose I would since there's no one waiting for me at home and there's not many friends that it would effect either besides maybe you if you wanted to be my friend."

"I can only make the world a better place with actions and words more than getting killed. I don't think that I can do much good on my own but if I can get other people to help me then maybe we can change things in short ways, you know what I mean?" Marcus looks over at her out of the corner of his eye and smiles softly "I would rather change the world in small ways than for it to get to the point where I have to loose my life for someone."
