Optimus Primeâs 7 Tips for Dealing with Grief if Youâre A Struggling Introvert
1. Change the temperature - take a super hot/cold shower, run around outside; anything to force your body to feel SOMETHING is so important! Grief can make us feel numb to emotions, so feeling a physical change is important!
2. Eat. Eat food. Comfort food is best. Mac and cheese, pancakes, strawberries. Anything that makes your tummy happy or helps with a nasty hangover is best!
3. Read The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran. Itâs not very long and the metaphors serve as food for thought to help navigate your emotions.
4. Cry. Just cry. Bawl your eyes out until youâre a mess of snot and tears and tissues. Itâs gross, but the cortisol release in your brain helps regulate the big emotions youâre feeling.
5. Sleep. Put your phone on charge in the kitchen, and sleep. Your body is navigating a lot of stress that can manifest in physical illness if you donât take care of it. Plus, it helps with any headaches you could get after crying.
6. Drink water. Hot water, cold water, room temperature water. Staying hydrated is key to keeping you physically well as you grieve.
7. Write something and shred. Send your grief out into the universe as a tangible THING. If youâre not into shredding things, then write out a long message in your notes app and trash it. Itâs comforting to know that your thoughts are heard by some force of nature, and since thereâs no physical trace of it, your confidentiality clause with the universe is established.
I hope this helps friends! Grief is difficult. I want you to know that it will be hard, and to be completely honoest that feeling of loss wonât ever go away. And thatâs alright. However we as individuals have control over our actions, and we have control over how we interpret our feelings. I implore all of you who are grieving to look at loss with lenses of joy. Joy that you got to experience life with whatever or whoever you lost.
Till All Are One!

They should really put warnings on plants that are toxic/deadly to animals like itâs pretty insidious that there are plants that could potentially kill your dog being marketed as convenient low effort plants for beginners that have no knowledge I donât think it would even occur to the average traitor joes shopper that theyâd need to even look it up for safety reasons
