Above are two images I found amongst the papers of the Haslemere Collection. The first is an etching, but I am unable to read the signature; the second is an older print. This latter print is entitles MUNSTER CATHERDRALE, but doesn't compare to any images I can find. If anyone can identify either of these locations I would be glad to hear.

This handsome seal is that of Bishop, later Cardinal, Wiseman. It can be found on a letter to Dame Aloysia Brenan when she became Prioress at Winchester on the resignation, due to ill-health, of Abbess Lady Benedict MacDonald. Aloysia Brenan went on to become 16th Abbess .

The accounts for 1794 - the Community were able to bring very little money with them and had to rely on gifts from benefactors to live. They were given, besides money, fabrics and clothe, straw for mattresses, furnishings, etc. AT the end of the year they were in credit to the tune of £27.10.11d.

Three images from the Haslemere Collection. John Milner signed off the first set of accounts following the Community’s return to England and settling in Winchester. They were given a house in St Peter’s Street not far from Milner’s house.
