HRFNEWSLETTER #2 - February
Hello again on the #HRFNEWSLETTER number two! finally be able to hold my words and posting a little more consistent and more often. Well, february, what could you say other than this is a month of love? fourteenth february has been passed though, but still.. I'm going to talk about love! —the self love list that you may never seen before. Let’s get started!
Receipe
You’ve may seen this pizza before on my Instagram post last month, and some of you asked me through DM about the recipe, well here it is, a total hassle-free kind of pizza recipe. Originally I got the original recipe from the BBC Food website, but I moderate it here and there to be more easier. The dough recipe is totally vegan and the toppings could be anything that you desired, but mushroom and fresh sliced tomatoes is surely my favorite combo!
( p.s : there is no exact measurement for this recipes, I'm just using my senses & I think you should try it too! )
(p.p.s : I used one potato that is sized as big as your hand, flour about five table spoons , cooking oil two table spoons, splash of water, dash of salt and paper, and lastly that’s is optional — Nutritional Yeast ( one of the best plant based B12 source ) just three table spoons )
Health & Wellness
One of my goal this year is to focused more on my heath and wellness, these is an app and some people that helped me a lot during this time.
Headspace app available on Android and iOS — it such a great and easy access application for meditation, well some of the services are paid, but there is 20 days trial free to try. I’m on my day seven and it feels so great!. With well designed and nicely illustrated interface plus your meditation will be narrated by Andy Puddicombe which is the guy who made this app himself , it will boost up your experience while using this app.
@Cartergood on instagram — I got most of my meal and fitness education from his page. He shared tons Infographics about foods calories, food myths and hacks and also fitness habit. The way he shared stories and informations is really effortless but in a good way —simple and easy to understand without thinking too hard on yourself. Hop on hiss account and you might be surprised with new facts about heath and fitness.
Cam & Nina —This youtuber duo is included in ‘notify me’ box, so whenever new video uploaded by them, it will be notified directly on my notification box. I got a lot of informations about foods and also wellness from their videos. Because of these guys I'm starting to eat more healthily and trying out yoga, which is a new awesome experience. I got some of cooking hacks and education from their channel, like how to bake a cake, making pancake, smoothies and main courses that are totally plan based. Please do watch some of their videos & I'm guarantee you’ll be loving it!
Books & Music + The New Kind Of Self Love
Other than being healthy and stuffs, I tried to read as many books as I could every month. Despite of getting the fun and the thrill from reading books, gaining new perspectives is also a bonus.
Here are some books that I'm currently & finished reading :
Finished
Call Me By Your Name by Andre Aciman, Simon Vs The Homosapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli, Love Her Wild by Atticus, Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell, The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin, Gie & Surat-Surat Tersembunyi by KPG.
Currently
The Sun and Her Sunflowers by Rupi Kaur, Elon Musk & Quest For Fantastic Future by Ashlee Vance, Better Than Before by Gretchen Rubin, Carry On by Rainbow Rowell, and lastly A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara.
The New Kind Of Self Love
Self care is not always all about self pampering, to survive in 2018 — it is not all about the glitter and gold of beauty. I listed some things for you that might be a new weapon of choice to show the real beauty of yours.
1. Read more books — Books any other kind of literature is truly a food for the soul, despite of its fun parts like reading a romance novel or maybe the adventurous ones, there must be a silver lining that you could get. Try to read biography of a person too, the alive or dead -- the success or failure ones. There must be a new perspectives that you could learned from them. So reading this will kind of re-birth you as a person in terms of way of thinking and acting. Being the best kind and better version of yourself is actually part of self care isn’t it?
2. Educate yourself — Enriched yourself with new knowledge, tons of it. Stay foolish and hungry for new things, informations, and experiences. Sometimes not all of the things that exist or happening on this earth are merged with our beliefs or our way of thinking but it doesn’t mean that we should make hate or conflicts towards those things. How you choose your actions is really based on how far you take your knowledge and self seriously, how you act really define yourself. Choose your words and actions wisely by educating yourself more.
3. Make peace with your mind and body — Do you think face mask and scrubbing you whole body is making enough peace with your mind and body?, i find that really relaxing and peaceful though — but just for a temporary. The only thing that is really worked after all is a full acceptance towards yourself. All the imperfections and its scars are doesn’t matter if you feel happy about it within yourself. No it is totally not easy, but the roots of self-care is just feeling enough for whatever you owned right now because real beauty will reflect itself without even doing tons of efforts.
Music
February vol Un & February vol Deux on Spotify
That’s all I wanted to share on this month newsletter, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I do! Request and comments are accepted, reach me through Instagram DM as usual in here. See you next month! xx Harris

My Very First Short Film & Spoken Poetry
youtube
I welcomed 2018 with a pretty good positive energy and since it is started with a good feeling, everything is done very well. Currently I am still working on my book “ My Nights, My Noons, My Guts “ and making tons of story boards for an upcoming new short film.
The good news is, one of my poems from the book can be realized as a short film. I don’t know if this video could be rated as a short film, because it is literally short just one minute long. At the very first brain storming, I thought this would be like three or four minutes long —but ended up as one minute, because I want people who watch this not getting bored and could catch the meaning behind it.
I’ll tell you the story behind this, it is about heartbreak. Actually every poems that is filled my book is about heartbreak, but this one poems titled ‘limerence’ is different. If we talked as a person who really sticked to the social construct which is whenever something bad happened in a relationship, mainly it is caused by the male — and in my case, it happened backwards. I got my heart broken by the female. This surely a very old stories that I should not bring up, but I created this to remind everyone who’s maybe in the same situation as I used to before, that you are worth it in every aspects, your relationship did not went well not just because your fault, his or hers fault. Maybe you are not meant to be together or it’s not a right time to be together, or just simply they don’t deserve you.
We are moving and growing everyday and changing also included. Always try to be the best version of ourselves everyday, look ourselves on the mirror, change the bad thing and keep doing the good thing. We need to fill ourselves up with love, not anyone else. Live ourselves to the fullest and do everything that pleased us, It isn’t any less beautiful. I promise.

HRFNEWSLETTER #1 - January
Well, goodbye holiday! ( well it is almost February though *cough*) it is officially a 2018 right now, school starts, your planning starts, and everything started from blank page or maybe continuing the unfinished one from last year. 365 days seems away too fast for me, even though it sounds tough if you look at the number, but when you have tons of things to achieve then those numbers are nothing for you.
Music & Film
Let’s kick-off first with a great movie recommendations. These two maybe sounds very familiar in your ears, since tons of people really praised these two ( and some of them don’t and find these two are over rated ), but I do find this films very interesting and really relatable to our daily life. There are both sadness and happiness that we can learned—or we called it the silver linings.
Wonder : I actually have known the book since a long time ago but never got a chance to buy and read it. I once search the review about this book, and the results are pretty amazing. they said the stories is very heartfelt— but i don’t know why, those reviews didn’t really works on me to grab and read it, until on November 2017 I saw an online article talking about the movie called ‘ Wonder ‘ which the story based upon this book with the same name, suddenly the flashback strikes..’ Ah this book that i never got a chance to buy! ’, without hesitation on the second week of December, i grabbed the movie ticket and watch it with my sister. And you know what? I cried for the first time for a film! never once in my life i cried over a film, i learned a lot of things just by seeing the film once. This film taught you to be kind, do and treat anyone with kindness without differences. the quote that always stuck in my head after watching this film is “ if you have to choose between being right or being kind, choose kind “, and it’s super true, whenever you choose kind you’re automatically being right. this movie surely my new go-to’s, perfect for movie time with family or alone if you want to drained yourself over your tears. ( Rating 5 / 5 for the great cinematography and story line)
Call Me By Your Name : I heard this movie since the very beginning of 2017, if I'm not mistaken on February or March, the movie itself just newly released and screened on Sundance on 22nd January. Fast forward to November (also), I found the news again on twitter, after long hiatus from twitter, i scrolled through the timeline and found this movie again. So curious about this movie until it leads me to find a link to watch it for a whole months, because this movie isn’t showed in Indonesian theater. If you want to know the fact, while searching the film on internet, i don’t even know what is the movie about or even watch the trailer, because i believe in love at the first sight. I saw the movie poster and it’s so good! ( look at the overall graphic design and photo! ), I believed the film will be very good also, so I kept my curiosity about this movie really tight. Because i cannot wait no more, i finally googled and find out that this movie actually based on a book written by André Aciman, quickly i browsed through the google and download the ebook. i finished it within three days and spilled my tears. this is the second book after Dear John by Nicholas Sparks that made my spilled my tears. It is surely a very beautiful & tragic love story. This movie is about explorations through sexuality, finding who you truly are, falling in love, and falling to the rock bottom. ( Rating 4.8 / 5 for the great color tone and actors )
Plans & Talks
Another thing to focused on 2018 is surely to be more organized, focused, energized and more happiness — here are some things that I covered this month that I hope will help & entertained you!
How to Effectively Achieving Your Goals
I don’t want to give you a cliche steps on how to achieving your goals this year, but i’m going to give you a very simple tips tips that i hope it would work on everyone, because me myself more into an actual steps that i could do it right away.
I watched a lot of Thomas Frank videos on youtube, or maybe known well as collage info geek. He’s the beast about giving tips about studying and time management, so maybe if you not really know him, i’m going to break it down for you about how to achieving your goals effectively based on on of his videos ( you can watch it by clicking here )
As you may know, the very first thing that you should do is as simple as breaking down your goals by writing it, then make a group of priority out of your goals, such as which one more important or which one is bigger or taking more time than the other, and the final part is to “do it”, of course actions is a must indeed. but me or us more likely to just “do it”, without a right technique to make it more efficient. this is the thing that i learned from his videos, ‘ to make your works divided into a small chunks ‘, so here is the thing which i usually do wrong. when i’m so ambitious about the thing that I want to do, I'm most likely to finished it all up at once— as example while i’m making a book, i work on it everyday for two month with a wish that i could finished and published it all on 4 months, while the truth is I can’t do it like that. maybe I can, but it’s better to chunk it all up— here is the example :
writing everyday is right, having the deadline is right. but you can’t finished it all up at once and wishing it all could be done within a very short time. i should’ve been writing like one poem a day rather that twenty poems a day then not making any within a month. i’ll gave you another example, i really want to have like three laps in one run on a track, and ended up with three though, but i felt really tired and ran out of breath, and it made me not running again in a month, because of the tiredness still haunting me—what i should do is actually, just take one lap in every run, and do it for two weeks or maybe a month, then set up to two then three and the rest until my goals achieved. This methods really practical in all fields, like cooking, painting, doing math equations and etc. Everything should be start with your current capabilities first, then slowly learned through it— and step it up.
Last thing I want to recommend is a channel called Yes Theory! when you need some entertainment or fun videos but still with a touch of nice infos and facts— also cool cinematography you can check this guys out. From covering back stories of inspiring people to crazy video such as asking strangers to do skydiving, or something nice to lighten up the mood like the video titled saying I love you to strangers.
Here I am ended up this month newsletter, I hope this new content makes you excited, but most of all the most important thing for me is if you find this newsletter to be helpful. if you have any other request or comments for what things I should cover next month, just leave a comment on my Instagram.
See you again next month! xx Harris

2017 : Roller Coaster Rides
“. Why is today already December ? “
Well, I know you guys probably think the same way as pathetic as I am, maybe not that “ pathetic “ but just a confusion covered with worries. Aside the from excited feelings of having a long holiday, let’s take a second to recap this year and evaluate our goals this year — I can make sure, that every beginning of the year, some of you may write down everything that you want to achieve— because me too!
I promised at myself, a lot.. there are tons of things i want to achieved in this year, some of them are ticked out of the notes & some of them still hanging there waiting to be accomplished. The very first thing that i wrote back then is actually to lose weight which is not happening at all this year, I’m still weighed the same as last year, but i believe that i am getting taller right now haha. The second thing is to write everyday or at least as much as i can, yes this thing are ticked off from the list even though my latest entry on the diary is dated on November second. I skipped a lot of days because of my crazy schedules, i can’t write in a chaos state of mind. the third one is buy Less, buy better, & less fast fashion, it sounds kind of hard and cliché, who could resist good clothes with ‘cheap’ prices? but as i learn more deeper about behind the industry of fast fashion, their ethics, how they stole a lot of designs from designers or even a ‘small’ artist. I choose more clothes from local brands or any other ethical fashion label. Less clothes and less options surely saves your time. And my very last thing in the list which is the fourth is to grow and expand my passion, this last list is the highlight of my year, i actually writing this just for a sake of my own hobby, because later in the future i really wanted to pursue my passion to be my career, and money is not really my top list but God has different plans for me. Three months later after i wrote this ‘goal’, my very first big job is coming, then followed by the second and the rest.
For the first one, lets talk about self-care and self-love,
I don’t find this thing really important for me until i got my very first huge mental breakdown and heartbreaks. well, that sounds not so though you must be thinking, because i thought the same way too. This thing is seriously drained out my energy, days are seems so gloomy, out of motivations, and so exhausted because my mind and also my soul drowned under the mental-breakdown blanket. Each day i tried to puzzled my broken pieces of motivation, there is sometimes where your dreams that usually keeps you going didn’t help at all at this kind of state, until i realized that ‘ it’s surely okay to have a down moments, but i don’t want this problem to eat me alive ’. So i tried to focused on myself more than usual, I sorted out the things that made me down and things that made me going up. the very first thing i sorted is to ‘ dump that toxic friend out of your life ‘ this is the hardest (period), i’m that kind of persons that loves to have acquaintance with a lot of people, from there we can be partner or even close friends—but sometimes, some of them wants to know you just because they want to take advantage out of you, so do throw that one haha. next is ‘ do the things that comforts you, not only makes you happy ‘, it seems like there a thin line between those in terms of doing something, ‘comforts’ in here isn’t all about that ‘comfort zone’ but more like choosing things that makes peace with your inner self. in terms of jobs, lately i’m more selective than before, the bigger the amount of paycheck of course makes me happy, but i also have to keep in track with my sanity. If i think i couldn’t handle it, then i won’t accept it. and the last point in the list is to ‘ listen to your body more ‘, if i’m hungry then eat, if i’m tired then sleep or take some rest. as easy as that but hard to practice.
and then move on to ‘grow and expand my passion’ sections, and also how crazy & hectic to balanced your goals with the school tasks + grades.
Let's be honest, it’s so damn hard to manage the time between school works and job works, but time-management is the major key to nailed this. I’m currently freelancing as photographer and sometimes also as an illustrator & graphic designer. I’m still a ‘work-in-progress’ kind of person, I do everything that i love and eager to learn new things. Every month, there must be one to three jobs that i got averagely. Even though it’s not all a ‘big’ job, but that is totally fine, because what i enjoyed the most from the job that i got is the ‘thinking’ and ‘creative development’ process. The more I got the job it means i have a lot of space to practice — at the end, practice makes perfect!.
I studied at school from 6.30 AM to 3.00 PM ( school time in Indonesia is kinda insane ), followed by going course from 4 PM to & 7 PM, i did all of those things from Monday to Thursday, Friday are for hang-out, rest day, or meeting day with school clubs + stuffs. I do all of my works ( plus my homeworks ) starting from 8 to 11 PM, and lastly weekend are a battling day between rest day, shootings + meetings, and doing school stuffs. So that is how my days in a week goes by.
As you could see (or read), my schedules are pretty packed up, lack of sleep, and indeed for a hibernating, but those aren’t a blocking for me to dream more and work more. Sometimes i do feel tired and yes i do complain a lot too about how hard my life is, because we are all human at the end, but what makes me moving forward each day & pushed myself out of my limits is my ‘dream’, I am aware of my big dreams, and those couldn’t be reached without an effort. Slowly but sure, i will accomplished what i am writing down.
Starting this year, I built this new tumblr website with a little more sleek looks that the previous and also building my portfolio website both in wixsite & Instagram. I started to write and read more too, developing my sense & characteristics in photography and designing. Your efforts won’t back-stabbing the results.
Experience
In the very last day of June till July, I’m be able to step my feet out of this country and stayed in Australia for twelve days. The full journey is on here.
In October, i also got a chance to attend my very first fashion week ! ( another list from the goals ticked off ), I attend Jakarta Fashion Week 2018 for two days and it is surely awesome, a one of a kind experience, actually there’s still a long list of fashion week that i want to attend ( of course! ), but at least i already witnessed my eyes for being seen what an actual runaway looks like, because i usually watch it from youtube.
Support
Main thing other than plans and dreams are a strong support system, i thanked my family and my close friends for being the best people whenever i needed ( or maybe when we need each other to lean on ), I really cherish each and every of you.
* notes : I'm currently working on my book and RTW ( ready to wear ) line !
This year has been good to me yet still so far from perfection, there are a lot of flaws that should be fixed and improved next year. the hardest part of this year is to make peace with my own self, because when my mind are a constant battle ground between my expectation and reality— but all things going to be better soon. here are some of the things that i want to achieve on 2018, the list is written in proper paper unlike the 2017 wishlist that has been crumpled haha. Let's rock 2018!

Knowing Myself Through Writing
It has been a few months since the first time I started writing this piece, highs and lows are included in this journey. This baby should be born previous month, but due the heavy schedule, I couldn’t make it. A little bit mad, but not disappointed at all.
Maybe some of you would think that this just a piece of crap that I made, but truly.. writing is my cure, during the hard days, during the time where I lose myself ( losing my passion and confidence ), writing always came to the rescue. This piece is actually about heartbreaks and self consciousness. My heart really poured into this piece.
Letting people go, letting memories worn out and letting them to mock me down— but there always a space to stand up and thousands way to find better people and be a better person. “ fall seven times, stand up eight “, is the quote that I lived for and also the provocation towards my will to write this book. This isn’t just a book, it’s a prove where I could turned my sadness, anger, and disappointments into better form, a positive and constructive ones.
Right now we live in such a fast-paced life, so easy to get overwhelmed and forget about the little things. I often lose myself, trying to keep up—but what I don’t realize is that sometimes, the little things are the ones that matter the most. You guys sweet words, motivations and constructive comments are truly appreciated, your simple “ I love your works “ comments are meant the world to me. I often felt unnoticed and useless, until those comments and words strikes up, I could stand up again and believing on my worth. Once again, thank you.
xx Harris

Preview - The Very First Peek..
The weather been so chilly lately.. I wish I could snuggle up in bed and under my blanket all day. Bon Iver and Iron & Wine on repeat all day as a background songs to fuel up the mood.
This pages of my upcoming books seems making some dust, because I’ve neglected them for a few weeks. Poems is based on moods, feelings, vibes, and surroundings, I cannot forced myself to write if I'm not in a mood, sadly this book will not come out next month ( but I'm working on the merch !! ). I planned not to write a lot of poems, because I want these several poems to be packed in a small size books that you could easily carry it anywhere and everywhere. it’s just like a pocket-book, something that could cure and makes you feel comfy while reading it. currently I've written about 25 ++ poems and sketched half of the illustrations.
All of the illustrations I drew is basically a doodle that I used to draw all over my school notebook.
I want this book to be simple and felt like one of those pieces that you lose in yourself, so after you reading some of my words, you felt better.
This book still a work in progress, I cannot tell when this ‘whole book’ will out, but I guaranteed you all ( for you who’s waiting my writings ), it will be out very soon. I promised :)

What I’ve Been Up To..
I took less than five months to the new year’s eve, less days and weeks to be used for making things. These past few months is just so hectic yet amazing for me, making and creating a lot of stuffs ( this including drawing, writing, taking pictures and stuffs.. )
Currently, school schedules are really “solid” almost no time for procrastinate, day to day are filled with going to course and finishing shitloads of homework. Rather than drowning in my school works and heavy schedule, I try to find another things to keep me busy yet making me relax. I cannot say that I am a workaholic person, but well I love keeping myself busy and I can’t stand with my self when I caught myself relaxing. Here are some of the things that I currently doing, and I hope I could finished it all fast & well, so you guys can enjoyed it really soon!
As some of you guys known, I WRITE A BOOK! ( currently, still in the making ), that is one of the thing that I do. Writing is a total relaxing and stress-relieved activity for me, besides the book, I also writes everyday on my so-called diary. I’m actively writing since the beginning of 2017 & until now, I'm still doing it. ( check out my book synopsis, here )
The second one is, if you guys knows me or maybe ever stalked my Instagram feed, I LOVE TO DRAW! I once had sold some of my drawings in a form of art prints ( the size is as big as the postcard ), but it was about two or three years ago. Since I am really focusing on photography and designing these days, I almost neglected my drawing skills. Starting by few months ago, I started drawing again and has been producing quite amount of drawings. I finally decided to sell my drawings in a form of T-SHIRT!, right now I’m still on a stage of picking right fabric and measuring sizes, maybe this will be out in a month or two!
I decided to sell my design because I need some money for printing out my books, I will published it independently and sell it some, but before I printed out, I will put the e-book for free for a specified time ( which I will tell you later on!).
About photography, I am currently a little bit inactive because of my heavy schedules, because right now I am really focusing on my book and t-shirt productions. Some of my friends and local brands has been reached me and arranging for shoots, but we are still figuring out the dates. Ideas has been flowing in my brain, until sometimes I troubled sleeping because of the ideas are still popping and running around. Can’t wait to be back to the shooting life, but for these past few months, I'm taking a break a little bit to try something new out of my comfort zones.
Those are some of updates that I could tell, actually there are tons of creative things, projects, and collaborations that I do at the same time ( but those are still in a rather brainstormed or planning process ). I’m stopping right here, I hope all of these went well & I will updated the results as soon as possible :)

Grooming 101 + Best Product To Get Rid Your Acne & Pimple !
I asked my followers on my instagram story later this day about what post I should do next ( since I still had a plenty of free times before school day’s starts ), among many requested post I got my eyes pointed to grooming & skincare product, (even thought this thing is out of my subjects , but oh well.. ya boy gotta write it). Me myself actually still struggling with pimple and its scars but the products I listed below at least really helped me reduced the acne, soften the acne scars so it’ll gone slowly, and lastly.. not making it more worse.
The best medicine for skin is actually, FOOD! if you eat mostly fried, oily,junk-food.. say good bye to clear and anti-blemished skin! reduced your junk-food and processed food consumption, start eating more ‘real’ food ( fresh poultry, veggies and fruits ) and drink tons of water! I know it is hard.. I'm still struggling too.
The product that I listed below is just a complementary ( because number one is what you eat, food! ) to help you reducing your acne and pimples + softening the scars & your skin .. so here they are..
Always clean you face first kiddos! these are three of my favorite cleanser, from the cheapest to the priciest. All works similar to one another, refreshing and cleaning the dirt in your skin surface. ( plus the Lush Kalamazoo also can be used to wash a beard )
I recommend you : Nature Republic Jeju Sparkling Cleanser // What I love : very deep cleansed and also worked doubled as scrub (but not harsh to the skin), it cost around 80 thousand rupiah ++
After washing my face, I used to use this peeling gel every two to three times a week to remove the black-heads and tighten the pores, this peeling gel will left your skin so soft and clean after you used it. ( more details and function on the picture )
I recommend you : try both of this! if you troubled searching lush products in Indonesia, just buy the Himalaya Neem Mask ( available in various super market and cost around 30 thousand rupiah ++ )
These mask really helped you reducing and drying out your acne !
used after face washing or peeling, use everyday if needed or three to four times a week.
This must be really well known to you all out there, this is the best toner I could ever used! sadly the tea tree oil product itself doesn't works on me. Besides this toner really clean your skin to the pores, it also soften your acne scars and healed the acne/pimple faster. (more details and functions on the picture ) ( priced at 160 thousand rupiah ++ )
Those feelings after peeling and toning must be feels kinda burning to the skin, so moisturizer to the rescue! These three are my favorites and same, they all works similar, the only difference is only on the thickness of the cream and how long they need to be absorbed.
The Cosrx one, works best to be used before sleep as a night-cream and woke up with super hydrated skin feelings.
I recommend you : Aēsop Mandarin Facial Hydrating Cream, this one cost a lil bit robbed your wallet, the full size cost around 500 thousand rupiah but try the travel size for cheaper option. // What I love : they aren’t sticky and makes your skin oily, the consistency is kinda watery which I love. // Similar option : Etude House Collagen Emulsion, cost around 20 thousand rupiah for travel size & 100 thousand ++ for the full size.
Use this for moisturized your skin to the beneath, works best when used together with the Intensive cream.
Other than essence, you also can use Face Oil from various brand or simply just use Olive Oil ( that specially used for skin not for cooking )
THE BEST ! this products is really useful, other than helping you hydrating and moisturize your skin, this product can be used for after-shave, light styling gel, and sun-burnt cured.
I recommend you : use this as a sleeping mask, apply a thick gel on your face surface, wait for ten to fifteen minutes to drying a little bit and then go to bed. Woke up in the morning with moisturized and glowy skin! this product works similar like Cosrx Hyaluronic Acid Intensive Cream ( but the costs one is ‘more’ moisturized & hydrating the skin & cost around 200 thousand rupiah ++ ) -- good news is, this aloe gel just cost around 80-100 thousand rupiah ++
If you confused what to buy after seeing all of these recommendations, this is the most ‘holy grail’ products that I recommend you to buy :
The point of get rid of your acne in my opinion & experience :
Cleansing - Deep cleansed - Moisturized - Mask
So at the end of the day, just choose the product that works best for you, it isn’t a matter of price but the compatibility of your skin to a skincare products. And these are some of my recommendation.
I learned all of these by searching from the Google and watching James Welsh video on youtube ( he is totally my skin care guru ).
In my opinion, skin health is not only girls concern anymore. guys should be equally care to their skin too, because what my mother told me : skin is your investment for the future, so take care your skin as good as possible since you were young.
and the other groomings products I used are :
I really enjoyed having short hair actually, but since boys hairs somehow growing up so fast, gel or wax is really needed, these two are my favorites :
Lush one is for more effortless and natural looking hair, the holds is medium and not making your hair greasy, good for everyday use!
Gatsby one is for more formal event, not a lounge and chilling event in my opinion, even though I used the medium hold but the hold is kind of strong and makes my hair kinda greasy after a long-time using. This is suitable for you guys who loves you hair always on point all the time!
An additional products I used in everyday basis,
Lip balm by Lucas Papaw is really good! really moisturized my lips and healed my dry lips // For the hand balm I used both of them, Aēsop wins about calming smells but the body shop is still the beast!
After done with the skincare, lips, and hands... a good spray of great scents will stepped up everything. My personal likings in perfumes are smells of spices and little bit touch of ‘fresh’ from fruits or flowers. These are my top three of fragrance :
Aēsop Marrakech Intense : this surely reminds you the smell from middle east country, but as the times goes and this scent absorbed to the skin it will smelled differently ... so hard to explain! ( only available in 50ml EDT, priced at 850 thousand rupiah ++ )
Paco Rabanne Invictus : Perfect for lounging and chilling events, smells light yet so strong. ( priced at around 700 to 1500 thousand ++ rupiah )
Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb : Definitely my all time fave! first time you sprayed it smells like a ciggars, but it is slowly transitioning to softer smells, there’s still a spices smell but less strong. You should smell it yourself! ( priced at around 1200 to 1700 thousand rupiah ++ )
WHERE TO BUY?
Korean Skincare : Korean Noona via Tokopedia
Aēsop : click here
Lush : Pre ordered it on various Instagram online shop / Go to the offline store
Others : Can be found on your nearest department store / drug store / super market
All of the skincare and groomings products I listed above are my personal favorites, likings, and needs. You may have the same/different concern, so the products will be useful/not useful to you. All the opinions are based on my own experience. If you have another question about the details or stuffs don't hesitate to reach me on DM via Instagram!

Twelve Days In Australia
Signing in after a few weeks ( FINALLY ) , feeling so refreshed, full fueled with tons of positive energy and also new creative ideas. Recently I just got back from a trip to Australia ( I visited Melbourne - Brisbane - Sydney ) for twelve days as it titled, stayed for four days in each city.
Australia is such a diverse, fun, adventurous, and magical country. Their crowds as chaos as other big cities, but yet so quite and well planned country. I could spend whole day strolling around just by feet in Australia ( especially in Melbourne and Brisbane ). I’m not going to talk so specific like a travel guide post, but I’ll show you my favorite spaces, places, and shops for you! ( and also a little bit of tips ), for this trip I carried my Sony Alpha A6000 with 105mm lens, this is a very last & best camera purchase and also a traveling friendly camera ( except its lens that took a lil bit space in your bag ), so here we go...
MELBOURNE
First stop is Melbourne, definitely my favorite city ever and wondering If I ever could live and work there haha! This city is just a perfect place to strolling around, having coffee or tea in a little cafe, and of course shopping!
What I really loved about Melbourne is their people, not just a locals ( the australians ) but there are also tons of any other ethnicity. Their busy and always on the run vibes made me falling in love more harder with this city.
Perfect location for shopping in my taste and opinion is QV Melbourne, they carried big brands like A.P.C, Saturday’s Surf, Zimmerman, and my favorite is Incu, this is a one store that carry many brands, such as Acne Studios, Our Legacy, Paul Smiths, AMI and others. June-July is seems like a perfect time other than Christmas, because lots of store having a big discount and many brands having a sample sales too!. ( I scored some Our Legacy and Weathered pieces at Incu store )
Another a must visit if you at QV is visiting Aēsop store, they also had another store in Sydney but I prefer the QV store, their staffs and hospitality are gold. Not to forget, their products is also worth to try and also worth the money.
I recommend to chilling a little bit to relaxing your feet at State Library Victoria, sitting at their front bench or simply sitting their green grass, perfect for people-watching and sipping on your hot drinks.
What I hate from Melbourne ( & Australia ) other than their dirty public toilets, the shops there closed so early, between five to the latest is around seven pm. So, running is kinda in need to chase your favorite shops before it is closed.
Talking about food in Melbourne, the easiest thing to do is grab a sandwich or pies at Seven Eleven that will cost you arround two to twelve dollars per meals, or simply buy frozen pizza for 3 to 5 AUD, bread, and eggs in nearest Woolworth. My most visited place to buy meals in Melbourne are, Nelayan Resto ( Indonesian cuisine ) located in Swanston St and any near Hot-Star stands.
Taking tramp is another must try too!
The last stop is Mt. Buller, to see my very first snow!
I got here by renting a driver and a mini bus ( because I went there with my other cousins too ), from what I know you could go there by taking buses.
Just spent about three hours there because too freezing cold, playing snowballs is a must in there and also sliding on a snowy hills with a board is fun thing to do also!
What to do in Melbourne
Best place to eat : Nelayan Resto / Best place to shop : QV Melbourne ( Incu and Aēsop ) / You might try : taking tramp to stroll around the city / Must Visit Place : Mt. Buller, Hosier Lane, Sister Bella, State Library Victoria
BRISBANE
Second stop, Brisbane! the first thought ever that crossed my mind as soon as I arrived here is, “ Why so quiet..?” and yes, this city is a perfect place to find a peace, lots of options for brunch and lunch!
The best thing ever about this city is the Brisbane Wheel Park, I could stayed for a whole day just laying on the grass and watching birds flying and enjoying Brisbane landscape and not to mention, near the Myer centre there are lots of some kinds of ancient buildings that is so nice & grand to take a picture with.
I even stayed at this park for the longest time is from six to eleven pm! besides that currently it is winter weather in there that made the ambience there so breezy and easy, this park is so quite and had an amazing view, so this park is ten out of ten from me. Clean park is so precious to me, since the park here ( Indonesia -- Jakarta & Bandung especially ) isn’t that clean and comfortable to be enjoyed and seated.
a little bit tips : if you are used to with the cold and breezy weather, just packed t-shirts, light jacket and coat, and a Uniqlo heat-tech as an additional if you cannot take the cold anymore. I survived just by wearing t-shirt and sweatpants in ten to fifteen degree weather. ( and also look the picture below )
GOMA Gallery Of Modern Art
If you interested with arts such as paintings, pottery, installations and stuffs, this gallery is a totally must visit! a few walks from the Brisbane wheel park, the coolest experience in here is, I finally saw Yayoi Kusama’s Installation, Narcisscus Garden. Really blown my mind away that I finally could saw it in real life!
What to do in Brisbane
Best place to eat : Grill’d Burger ( try their wagyu truffle burger! ) / Best place to shop : Myer Centre ( Lush, HYPE, typo ) / You might try : enjoying Brisbane from above, try Brisbane wheel / Must visit place : Brisbane Wheel Park, GOMA gallery, Queensland Museum & Science Centre, Warner Bros Theme Park
SYDNEY
The very last stop before flying back, Sydney! of course, it is not a complete experience of Sydney if I’m not visiting the Opera House. Just realized that actually the building is not as huge as I thought it was.
I’m not strolling around so much in Sydney, because of the tired factor of non-stop strolling for the past eight days in previous cities, so slow morning and walks is really needed.
Some photos that I took from the hundreds feet above.. truly amazing!
Aside from the helicopter, I also took a boat tour too, hopping and stop by the famous spots of Sydney, like Bondi Beach, The Zoo, The Dome and another great spots.
Darling Harbour and Sydney Harbour is the only destinations that I go often, there are lots of places for lunch and dinner. From Ice cream to Fish and Chips, Beers to Juices are available too. They are so crowded on the weekends, most of the restaurant and bars are full house on Friday night.
What to do In Sydney
Best place to eat : Mediterranea resto @ Darling Harbour area ( their herbed mozzarella pizza & risotto are the best! ), Shaloom Indonesia resto ( For indo food craving) / Best Place to shopping : ( I don't shop anything here ) / You might try : Boat tour, Heli Tour / Must visit : Sydney Opera House
That’s it for now, I hope you enjoy!
( all photos taken by yours truly ; except the picture with me in it credit to my cousin Zahra Putri )

Fresh Start
Well, another hello from me! -- this is the new blog for sharing my latest works and stuffs. After being tired putting my works everywhere, starting from right now I am taking it seriously and going to upload everything on this blog.
About two weeks ago, the newly vocal groups Diosa Music contacted me to shoot their single cover, actually one of their manager slash occasional member replacement is my good friend, Ocha. ( but I won’t post their single cover right now, because still under the creative editing process )
Here are some of the shoots that I captured, I am kind of satisfied with the result since I got my new equipment to replace my old camera ( going to talk about this in another post ). I also collaborating with my talented friend Yahya Rahadian to shoot their introduction video.
You can watch the video temporary, by clicking here.
“ wandering arround the hills, upon the tall grass and slippery land. catching morning lights & singing the rhymes of a laugh.”
The overall shootings are really fun, from the location, directing, to the creative process are flowing really fast. My team & I do really have a blast while doing and finishing all of this. Tons of thank you to Diosa Music for trusting me & my team to do all of these.
Directed by Ocha / Photo by yours truly / Video by Yahya Rahadian / Wardrobe & HM by their own
The quality that are shown here are lowered due tumblr heavy loading if I upload high quality image. After I lowered the quality of the actual image, when I upload it to here, tumblr is still going to lowered it again. So, I’m going to figured this out as soon as possible.
