“Harl, if you wanted me as your own personal model, all you had to do was ask,” she teased the other brunette, lips curling up into a grin. The brunette took a deep, exaggerated breath before offering Harlow her best pose… unable to even fathom the thought of taking something like a professional picture seriously. “—Kate Moss who?” she teased once again, unable to refrain from breaking out into a fit of laughter.
“Well, then this is me asking,” Harlow smirked at the other woman while she got her camera ready. It was obvious that Isabel was practically such a good candidate to be the model for Harlow’s shot, so it was the perfect opportunity for her to be standing in front of a such a beautiful sunset. Bringing the camera to position, Harlow snapped away. The shot she got was candid -- even better. The sun shone red in the background as Isabel laughed brightly. Harlow couldn’t help but laugh with her as she reviewed her masterpiece. “The camera just loves you. I’m not sure what’s brighter, you or the sun.”

“ Alright, then. Totally not weird whatsoever. ” She replied mostly teasing to hide how awkward she felt. Addy although remained still for several seconds until she thought the other was done taking the shot. Even if she found her slightly odd at her light command, she couldn’t help the resemblance the girl shared with a character from one of her favorite games. “ How did it come out, dude?? dude, really?? Please do forgive me for that. Sometimes when I don’t really know what to say I just blurt out whatever first comes to mind. Hey, I’m Addy by the way. I should’ve just started with that. God, I’m so sorry about that. ”
Harlow laughed as the other girl teased her, knowing that it wasn’t exactly normal to demand someone to stop and strike a pose for a picture. She was just grateful that she had done it. “It’s perfect,” she complimented once she got the picture she needed, moving beside the girl to show her the live preview. Look at you, you could be a model,” she smirked while she clicked through the handful of shots she’d taken. “I am an avid user of the word dude too, I take no offense to that, trust me.”

“you’re right, but i mean, if you think about it, blair witch wasn’t that bad. it was just a lot of waiting, thinking something bad was going to happen.” he told her, remembering the first time he saw the film and how disappointed he was in it. “i’ll just have to suck it up for now. i mean i’m sure i could give the client to someone else if it got that bad.”
“it was pretty anticlimactic,” she agreed, having never been a fan of the movie in the first place. he was right, it was all waiting and hardly any action at all. “maybe dealing with your client isn’t as bad as dealing with potential witches, i’m not sure, but still, i think if it were anyone else in that situation it could have probably been handled a lot better. what is it exactly that you do, anyways?”

a smiled tugged at the corners of elly’s mouth as she looked at the other, “of course not!! snap away. just tell me how you’d like me to look and i’ll do it.” she said as she looked at the girl in front of her.
“Just stand there and look pretty,” she tells the other woman while readying her camera with a smile. “Just like that, hold it right there,” Harlow instructs while snapping the shot to perfection, just how she had pictured it in her head.

Her jaw hanging open a little she paused with a very quick nod of her head before she returned her head to the position she had been in before – even if this was random and totally out of the blue Magnolia wasn’t a stranger to being in front of the camera and so instead she remained focused on looking at where she had been before. “Did you get it?”
“Bless you,” Harlow smiled to herself as she brought her camera up and shot for the angle she was going for. She was pleased that the other woman hadn’t objected to the odd request, saving every spare second for the artist to get her shot. “I got it. It’s beautiful. This must not be your first time in front of a camera, huh?”

whenever kaya got a free chance, she always enjoyed going to a party and having a drink. she always had a good time. a cheeky smile appears on kaya’s lips when she sees harlow, “i know? crazy huh? it’s like we both have the same set of friends or something” she teases.”that’s good to know! i’m glad. oh ya’know, i’m just looking for some fun. ya’know where i could find some?” she replies.
“What a small world it is,” Harlow grinned while she brought the red solo cup she had just filled to the brim to her lips. With a quick swig, she licked her lips while focusing on the other woman. “I think you’ve found it right here,” she hums before hopping off the counter, offering her cup for Kaya to share.

daisy quickly stops in her path, looking up at her friend with a big smile stretching across her features. her cheeks glowed, flattered that harlow would ever want a photo of her. ‘ like this ? ’ her arms stretch wide in a ridiculous pose, before she laughs, fixing herself to pose normally. ‘ does this look good ? can i take a photo of you after ? ’ she tries to remain still for the photo, but she keeps trying to peek at the sunset, thinking about her possible photos.
“Beautiful!” Harlow beams as Daisy obliges by striking a ridiculous pose. “Either way it would have been a masterpiece between you and the sky," she smiled while she quickly adjusted her camera to the appropriate settings. “Of course, what’s that saying, you scratch my back I’ll scratch yours?” Bringing the camera to eye level, she snaps a few photos. “Hold still, Dais! You’re blurry!” Laughing a little, she shifts to switch angles for a few last shots.

sadiccruz:
Sadie watched in astonishment as Harlow’s hand snuck a cookie. “Heeeey. I wasn’t offering them for a reason, you assho’. But we can pretend like you’re just trying to hinder my addiction and help me move on with my life. This is why I’ve put on a few pounds in the last two months - this. All of these. Living on my own was a mistake. I’ve gained the freshman fifteen and I haven’t even gone to college. What a double whammy. ‘Guess what, dad? I’m uneducated and fat.’ This is what the American dream is, isn’t it?”
Flashing a sweet smile as if it would help Sadie in forgiving her, Harlow happily chewed her cookie and swallowed before responding. “That’s exactly it, I’m only helping you. You’ll thank my later,” she winked at her friend as an easy laugh parted her lips once more. “And your dad probably will too later on in life when he won’t have to be rolling his daughter of the house like Violet Beauregarde. Maybe it’s time to toss out the cookies and we can go for a walk to burn off some of that chocolate.”

“ during a red eye last night i was graciously awarded temporary custody of this seven year old unaccompanied minor. he thought it would be fun to try and trip me every time i walked up and down the aisle. and he succeeded. more than once. too bad you can’t sue a seven year old for pain and suffering. ”
“I always felt so sorry for the ladies that got stuck with the little rugrats on flights,” Harlow scrunched up her nose at the story, “So it is truly as bad as it sounds, huh? I don’t know how you do it, I would end up locking the little brat in the bathroom for the entirety of the flight.”

It wasn’t everyday occurrence for anybody to find Alexa sliding into a seat that wasn’t hers to take. It wasn’t like her to barge into someone’s dinner unannounced, and she definitely didn’t take pride in it now. However, if she had to choose between dying of embarrassment or being stalked to death, she would choose the former. There wasn’t much of a choice there, really. Discomfort was written all over her face, but she had to do something. As soon as she’d taken a seat in front of a stranger in a strange diner, Alexa forced a smile. “Hey, uh”—she made sure she was quiet—”can you just pretend to smile for me? Like we’re old friends? This guy is following me around and giving me a weird eye, and I really would not like to die tonight. I mean, I’ve got a test tomorrow, so nothing before that.”
It wasn’t uncommon for Harlow to be seen out dining by herself. It wasn’t that she didn’t have anyone to accompany her, she just treasured her alone time. This is why she found herself at a booth by herself while enjoying a meal. She had been sketching idly on her pad while she picked at the piece of pie on her plate, startled out of her focus as someone slid into the bench across from her. Looking up, a smile tugged at her lips as the other woman explained the situation. Nodding in understanding, she broadened her smile as she had asked. “What took you so long?” she asked loud enough for the man to hear even if he was across the diner. “I already ordered us each a slice of pie, told them to hang onto yours till you got here so it wasn’t cold.”

“I swear I need a massage – my neck is still cricked from the flight. Planes were just not made for men like me.” The Brit groaned as he gave a roll of his beck. “How I ever made it from London to here I’ll never bloody know.”
“I would offer, but I’m usually told I’m too rough. Bony fingers or something,” Harlow smiled while wiggling her fingers. “What brings someone all the way from London to Camden anyways?”

“Until you’ve had a choir rehearsal with twelve - yeah, I said twelve - small kids who were dropped off by wine moms and have zero interest in singing church songs, you don’t know chaos. Turns out, one of the kids is a big Chance the Rapper fan. Yeah, I found that one out the hard way. He started singing one of his verses and I wasn’t paying attention. Besides, in my defense, I don’t even know that guy’s music but it’s the one that goes, ‘Okay, though. She beat her face out with that new Chanel. She like the price, she see the ice, it make her coochie melt. When I met her in the club, I asked her who she felt then she went and put that booty on that Gucci belt.’ That was my first dad moment where I had to stifle a laugh and act disappointed. As I Googled the song on my phone.”
Letting out a laugh as Parker recited the lyrics in plain conversation, Harlow briefly covered her eyes with her hand as if she was embarrassed for the male. “How does one even keep a straight face through that?” she mused. “I mean, you deserve a gold star for that alone. If it were me, I would have probably started singing along, so it’s probably a good thing that you’re not familiar with Chance the Rapper’s music for that fact alone.”

“I’m actually off duty for the next few weeks.” Aaron explained, pouring a drink. “Bit of a worker’s benefit thing, seeing as I’ve been flying non stop for the past few days.” He took grabbed another glass from the cabinet, thinking about where his manners had gone. “Would you like a one? Forgive my lack of manners.”
“You get some time off so you take up bartending?” Harlow mused, nodding as if to confirm that she would like a drink as well. Standing from the chair that she had been sitting in, she walked closer to where Aaron was preparing drinks. “That real question here is, what do you plan on doing with all that time off? Surely you have to have scheduled some relaxation in there, right?”
