Wynlee paused when the human talked to him. Go away? he fluffed up in mild irritation, he was in his territory! how rude! Impulsively, he took some sticks and threw it at the human below him.

Of course, some animal had already come to bother him. Leo heard the thing squawk, so using the little sense he had in the moment, he concluded that it was some kind of bird. The way things had been timed made it seem like the bird had laughed at him. Great, even nature was picking fun at him. He glared up at the tree. Surely a bird wouldn’t do him any harm, if anything it would just annoy him. “Go awaaay!” The words were lazily shouted up to the creature.

Wynlee chirped, smiling, “I’m Wynlee! Nice to meet you!” He pulled his wings back straight, this lady was strange. but interesting! It was kind of refreshing.

“Yes…” Willow mumbled, laughing nervously as she pulled away. “Sorry…I just really wanted to do that. Uh, I’m Willow.”

She kept glancing at his wings. They were just so fluffy. They looked pretty flammable, too.

“A lot less than you!” he chirped, “Maybe for a month?” He shrugged, looking at the sky, “This place is neat! with a lot of nice people! and cute creatures!”

" Oh a new face around here! Hello there!"

“A Shark!!!

 Look, Look!!! we have the same teeth!”

Wynlee fluffed up instinctively, not really used to people touching his wings and well -- screaming into them, “Feel better? he asked uncertainly with a smile, as clueless as he was even he can tell she needed to relieve some kind of stress.

Willow’s eyes lit up, and she grinned widely. She took the wing, pressed her face into it, and screeched. Most of the sound was muffled by the feathers, but they were so soft.

When the human smacked against the tree, Wynlee couldn’t help but let out a loud amused squawk before covering his mouth, his wings flattening against his body in panic. He was a little too loud... woops. Slowly, he peered down at the human below him, making sure not to peek out too much. He hoped dearly the leaves gave him enough cover from the other.

“Stupid fuckin sticks…” Leo stumbled through the leaves. After getting beat up outside the bar again, he thought he had headed home. Yet, somehow he was out here, tripping over roots and bumping into trees.

He would try and turn back, but he didn’t even know which way back was. His drunken state, mixed with dizziness from being slammed into the concrete left him completely disoriented. The darkness didn’t help either.

“Shit!” Was his response to walking face first intoyet another tree. How did he not see the damned thing? I was huge. Sighing,  he sat down, leaning against the tree. There was no point in continuing. At this rate he’d probably walk right off a cliff.

He’d  just have to stay put until morning or until some animal finally came to eat him.

Wynlee squinted at nothing, trying to think, “not that long, a couple months? I kinda last track of time.”

" Oh a new face around here! Hello there!"

“A Shark!!!

Wynlee blinked, tilting his head at the other, “Well,” he spread out his wing for the other to access, smiling, “Go right ahead?”

Wynlee sat perched on top of the tallest tree that was available to him, it was a favorite of his. From here he could view the lights of the city and hear the echos of human laughter and shouting.

He usually liked to sleep there, instead of the confines of the claustrophobic cabin... sure it had food and sheltered him from predators and rain but he preferred to sleep outside

He froze when he heart footsteps nearby, that couldn’t be his human friend -- he already came by this week..

Cautiously, he looked down from where he was perched, spotting an orange haired human -- who seemed a little clumsy. He felt a mix of dread and excitement, he didn’t have any visitors come to this part of the forest. This was rare for him

hey, i know i still have starters to get to and replies, but currently my mental state hasn’t been in a good place. it happens a lot. Just get used to me suddenly not being active and then being overly active again :,)

Wynlee squawked, stretching out his wings, trying to catch enough momentum to fly away but the hounds currently chasing him where not giving him much of a chance... and he wasn’t a particularly fast runner. 

He chirped as he saw someone at the distance and immediately called out to them, “Hello! Excuse me! Could you please help me?”
