"Hey, what do you want for Ch-"
I don't know, as soon as you started the question, I somehow momentarily was struck with such a lack of desire for any material goods that there's now a school of thought in Buddhism who reveres my ADHD riddled brain as a potential speedrun to enlightment.

i'm just gonna say my one lil thing... as a huge httyd fan since i was a wee babey (8 years old)
i think the main thing that rlly pisses me off makes me sad about the new live action movie coming out.... is not rlly anything ANYONE is talking about.
i'm OBVIOUSLY not bothered with the cast they look fine idc... it's not rlly the special effects or the dragon designs eh.. it looks vaguely like the og movie.. and i dislike all the CONSTANT live action remakes as much as the next tumblr user but NO! that's not rlly what bothers me.
WHAT GETS ME SO !!!! disappointed. about this whole thing is THAT THEY HAVE 12 WHOLE FUCKING BOOKS TO CHOOSE FROM TO MAKE ACTUAL NEW CONTENT AND STORY FROM BUT THEY JUST WANT TO RE HASH THE DREAMWORKS ANIMATION TO FRESHEN THE IP AGAIN?!!?!!!!!
now i loooove the 2010 dreamworks movie sm it's gorgeous i used to be able to recite the first 20 minutes of it by heart... BUT BUT BUT if they were really itching to talk about httyd again but make it fresh they had so many other options to go with !!! they could've maybe even asked david tennet to come back... they could've brought Big Boobie Bertha to the big screens......

This is why "eat the rich" is not a violent statement. Rich people literally kill others for their own profits. Any violence against rich people who do this is self defense.
This is also one of the many reasons why there are zero good cops. The nicest cop in existence would arrest someone for stealing to survive but would not arrest these greedy employers for killing for profit.

Since we keep getting "live action" CGI remakes of already perfectly adequate animated movies, and because people need to understand that animation is a medium and not a genre, I have prepared this primer about the importance of Visual Language for Conveying Information.
Can you tell what the personalities of these two mice are?
Can you tell now?
Which of these two tigers feels safer to be around?
Which of these three dogs is the funniest one?
If you can answer these questions, then you already have experience with the idea of visual language and stylistic choices being used to impart narrative meaning. If you can understand why these choices were made to impart meaning, then you can understand why animation is a medium for telling stories that has its own inherent value, and is not merely a "placeholder" for the eventual implementation of photorealistic presentation (aka "Live Action" CGI). Animation does not need to be "corrected" or "legitimized" by remaking it into the most representational simulation of observable reality.
