hanchen’s hair in dwsa?? im hightly interested tell me everything u know

its mainly about the dye job done on andy mientus' hair but yeah here we go: (also idk if this was the intention of deaf west at all these are just my silly thoughts) as we all know hanschen's hair is blond and andy mientus' natural hair is in fact not blond so his hair had to be dyed but in his hair being dyed it adds a whole other layer to hanschen's character. hanschen's whole thing is that he acts in a certain way he doesn't necessarily agree with to keep in the good favour of others. Spring awakening takes place in 1891 which was the very early beginnings of the idea of the 'Aryan race' being politically seen as the more favoured race in Germany. I always draw hanschen with obviously dyed blond hair as in my interpretation hanschen's blond hair is a whole part of 'letting the system work for him'. This also makes the other things that hanschen does to let the system work for him such as laughing along with the teacher and keep quiet about his views. (srry if this was nonsense im like really tired rn but the hanschen brain rot never stops)
