A Whole New World Pt.10

I grumble as I walk behind Laxus my blood boiling in anger and a little excitement at thinking I have to do whatever he wants for three days. I kick some rocks as I look down while I cross my arms and frown. “Do I need to put a collar on you or are you going to keep up” Laxus comments with a smirk and my face flares up with heat, I scowl “yeah right you wouldn’t dare, besides you’d have to tie me down and force it on me before I would wear a collar” I say in defiance.

“Ohh, a feral kitten huh, well well, that disobedience won’t do especially since this is a punishment for your own actions. I don’t think you wan’t me telling the old man you are going against your punishment do you? And you will refer to me as master for the next three days, understand” Laxus’s voice seeps cockiness. So this is his true self seeping out from his cold silent exterior huh, interesting...

“Alright fine whatever” I say and look away from him but I hear Laxus tsk, “alright fine, what?” He says to me and my face flushes again at his words, knowing what he wants me to say. I let out a low growl not making eye contact with him “alright fine! ......master” I fake barf at what I had to say and he just pats my head and motions for me to follow him.

I do but I keep grumbling about how bullshit this punishment was and how he was a kinky son of a bitch knowing he would hear me with that stupid extreme hearing he has, fucking dragon slayers. I just sigh as I try to calm myself down, I know Laxus won’t make me do anything really horrible....I hope.

Soon we approach a small but nice house and I see Laxus unlock it and walk in, no way first place we go is his house? I nervously follow behind him and shut the door. I look around and see it’s surprisingly not that messy, some clothing were strewn around the living room but it’s mostly fine, honestly better than mine. As I look around Laxus comes back from another room and throws a pillow and blanket at me and I look at him and quirk my eyebrow in confusion.

“You’ll need that for sleeping on the couch” He says and my mouth falls open “w-what? I-You..You want me to stay here? Like sleep and stay the night, and sleep on the couch?” I say stuttering and looking all around the room to avoid him.

He steps closer “Of course, anything I say goes right? And what’s wrong with the couch, I only have one bed, of course you can share it with me if you want.” He says stepping closer to me and I hold my hand up to my face to try and cover my blush because I’m about to have a heart attack at his words “and.. yes you’ll be staying here for the three days who knows if I’ll need something in the middle of the night... that only you can take care of” I almost passed out and died at his last comment, my virgin ears could only take so much and my imagination was running wild and putting very vivid ideas of what he could possibly need in the middle of the night.

I hear him chuckle and I stare at him in anger still red and blushing in embarrassment “you! Damn pervert! Ahg! Fine I will stay but I’m leaving to go get some stuff from my dorm then! I’ll be back.” I say promptly turning around and making my way out of his house and slamming the door as I leave.

I stomp toward Fairy Hills still seething in anger but also embarrassment “fucking tease! I’m gonna make his life hell! Oh who am I kidding I brought this upon myself breaking that damn rule, fuckkk! I don’t know if I’m going to love or hate these three days, maybe I’m a damn masochist” I say dramatically putting my head in my hands. I suddenly stop as I see Aaliyah and Freed sitting together eating ice cream in town.

I run over to them “Aaaaaliyahhhh, Freeeeed, save me I’m the slave of a monster! He’s making me call him master and stay at his house for the three days, I don’t think I’m going to survive! He won’t stop teasing me” I say while fake crying as I kneel in front of where they are eating, they both blink at me in surprise until Aaliyah starts laughing and Freed looks slightly amused.

“Haha! You say that like you don’t like getting teased, come on, be honest you love it!” Aaliyah says laughing and eating more of her ice cream. “I do not! I hate having to do whatever he tells me to, screw that! I’m an independent woman!” and Aaliyah laughs more at me and I twitch in annoyment. “You are such a liar” she says simply.

“Yes, I’ve known Laxus for a long time and I might add he can be quite the sadist and tease to people he’s close with, he must feel very comfortable around you, he usually acts bored and closed off with people, even us his own team at times, you must be quite the special woman Hannah.” Freed says with a small smile and I blush at his comment. “Y-yeah right, I’m just an easy target to him he can probably smell that I’m a virgin or some dragon slayer BS and knows I’ll be easy to mess with, the damn perv!” I say huffing and crossing my arms before sighing.

“So! Aaliyah how horrible is Freed being then!” I say and she just giggles “uh, he’s been great, I’m pretty sure we are just gonna hang out for three days together right?” She asks Freed and he nods “yes, I’m not quite into forcing women to do my bidding, they should be treated with the utmost gentlemanly care but to fulfill the punishment I’m simply ‘making her’ going to places with me for three days.” Freed says smiling at me.

My eye twitches and I clutch my fist “AHG! Why can’t Laxus be nice like you damnit!” I near scream in frustration and Aaliyah gives me a look “yeah right you two are perfect, you love getting teased and apparently he loves teasing you, just admit it, but whatever, Laxus should just ask you out anyways you obviously like each other.” She says taking another bite of her ice cream and finishing it.

“HAH! Yeah righhhhht Laxus would never like me come on! Whatever I’ve got to go get my stuff from my dorm for my sleep over with master! Hehe” I say that last part sarcastically. I wave at them while sticking my tongue out as I walk away but smile when my back is turned. I’m glad they are having a good time together, the cuties.

I go into my dorm and grab some clothing and other essentials for my three day excursion across town. As I leave with my packed bag I run into Levy “oh! Hannah are you going on a trip? You know I heard about you going on that S class quest ohh what a rule breaker you are, you know Natsu Lucy and Gray went on one too without permission a long way back, hehe brings back memories. But anyways I heard that your punishment was to do whatever Laxus told you to do! And same for Aaliyah to Freed! Ohh that is some seriously juicy erotic writing material, me Lucy and Cana are definitely looking forward to hearing about everything he makes you do” Levy say giggling evilly at me.

“LEVY! Oh my god I’m going to die before these three days is over and I’m packing because... UGH Laxus is forcing me to sleep at his house for the three days.” I say hanging my head as Levy squeels “Oh my Hannah It’s already so exciting! I hope you and him finally do it and get that sexual tension you two have out in the open.” she says and I almost fall over.

“Okay good god I’ll see you later!” I say rushing to get away from more embarrassing talking with Levy but I’m really just running towards more embarrassing moments with Laxus. I sigh dragging my feet towards his house. As I enter I don’t see him anywhere “Laxus?” I call out while looking around. I wander towards a door and I open it. For a second I’m so shocked I can’t do anything, my whole body is froze and my eyes feel like they are about to fall out from shock. I had just opened his bathroom door and there Laxus stood, in all his naked glory drying his hair after I assume he got out of the shower.

Our eyes meet our stare unbreaking as my brain catches up to what my eyes are seeing. 3...2...1.... “OH MY GOD!” I scream in horror as I turn around and trip over my own feet falling on the ground. I quickly scramble away slamming the door shut and crawling over to the corner of the living room and I put my arms around my legs that I had brought up to my chest. Thats...The second time I’ve walked in on him naked somewhere but this time his lower half wasn’t submerged in water and I got an eyeful of the whole thing. God...He was big all around huh? He wasn’t even hard.. I put my head down and groan still curled up in the corner.

I hear a voice clear his throat and I just shake my head not wanting to look at him. “Come on look at me” He says in his low sexy voice and I slowly raise my head and meet his eyes, if he can hear heartbeats then mine is probably giving him a headache from how loud and fast it’s beating. God he’s only wearing a towel right now but I can practically see him without it. “Look it was an accident I didn’t know you where in there, god I’m so sorry.” I say rambling and looking away from his gaze.

“It’s alright, I know you didn’t mean to barge in, you know that’s the second time that’s happened, if you wanted to see me naked you could just ask” He says smirking and I tip over and lean against the wall in defeat, steam practically coming from my head. This man...He really is something else. “But...if you want to make it up to me, then make me dinner.” He adds and I look at him, “I... Okay I can do that.”

He holds out a hand and I take it blushing more, and we both head towards the kitchen.

A Whole New World Pt.9

I can’t stop myself from panting. Me and Laxus had been walking for over two hours “Laxus...Please let’s take a break, I think my feet are going to fall off.” I say while holding up my hand to shield myself from the hot sun. He just looks over his shoulder and smirks “if only you didn’t have to come all the way out to this town we wouldn’t have had to walk back”

I groan at his snarky words, but he was right, if only I didn’t take that S class quest, well at least I completed it and got paid. I giggle thinking about my 250,000 jewels and Laxus looks back at me again but I just look away pretending nothing happened.

“Hey Laxus...Do you know what the punishment is going to be, it won’t be too bad will it...” I say looking at the ground and kicking some rocks. I hear Laxus snicker and my eyes shoot up to him “well, let’s just say even if I did know what it was the old man isn’t one to go easy on rule breaks, so it’s probably something you won’t be forgetting or living down anytime soon.”

My face twists in worry as I think about all the possible things that could happen to me. But at least I’m not getting kicked out of the guild, or getting Aaliyah kicked out, but I feel bad that she’s also going to get punished because of me, I wonder if we are going to get the same punishment or if he’ll go easier on Aaliyah if I tell him it was all my idea. I groan because the pain in my feet come back to me plus the worrying going on in my brain, it’s all adding up to not be worth the money I got for the job.

“Laxusss, come on please let’s take a break I’m not a huge big man like you that could walk a million miles in one day, I’m delicateee, and I’m still recovering from using all that magic energy.” I say while making a pouty face and dragging my feet as I walk a few feet behind him since I can’t even keep up with his pace, stupid long legs. He just looks back at me with a blank face “no we have to make it at least four more miles before it gets dark and we have to make camp for the night.

My eyes widen at the thought, that’s right I didn’t think about that, I’m going to have to spend the night with Laxus in the middle of a forest because there isn’t a hotel in this area just wilderness. Oh god help me, I’m gonna need it. I look up at him again “welll then at least carry me for a while since you refuse to stop and you’re such a big strong man.” I say in a joking manner while giggling a bit. He stops and turns around to look at me.

I blink a few times in shock when he gets down on one knee with his back to me “well, hurry up and get on then.” He says in a deep voice. I can feel my face suddenly turn red from his action and I wave my arms around frantically “I was just joking, seriously it was just a joke. Besides I’m too heavy anyways.” I say sounding panicked.

He just glares at me “I’m a big strong man aren’t I? I think I can carry a small girl like you, now hurry up or I’ll make us walk through the night without stopping.” My mouth falls open at the threat and I timidly walk over and climb onto his back. I wrap my arms around his neck and I can feel his strong arms flexing as he holds my legs. I could practically feel smoke coming out of my ears from being this close to him, I mean he’s holding me, I’m on his back, I think my brain is short circuiting.

I close my eyes and push my face against his back to try and hide it and I feel him tense up but he immediately relaxes again so I just keep quiet. I try not to but my eyes keep closing on their own, being held by this man and the suns warm rays on my back plus being exhausted from walking I drift into a dreamless sleep.

When my eyes open it’s dark and I’m leaned up against a tree. I groan and stretch on the ground. I look around and see Laxus walking toward our little camp area with sticks for I assume a fire. I wave at him and rub the sleep out of my eyes “well well, look like sleepy head is up.” Laxus says with a small smile and I blush. “U-um yeah thanks for carrying me I told you I was exhausted, I wasn’t kidding.”

He puts the sticks down in a pile and zaps the pile of sticks with a small lightning bolt, the current caused a fire to start in the pile of sticks. “Woah, that’s a neat trick.” I say leaned over looking at the fire. Laxus pulls out two sleeping rolls from his bag and lays them down for us...next to each other. I blush and look away choosing to stay leaned up against the tree for now until I have to get into my sleeping roll.

He sits down on the one I assume hes chosen which is closest to the fire, warmth hog. We just sit there. Not speaking. I sigh “well this is exciting, so what to do to pass the time...Haha let’s play 20 questions.” I say as a joke just to lighten the mood but Laxus turns toward me “Okay I’ll start. Where are you from?” Why do I keep doing this? I say things as a joke but he takes them seriously.. I should just stop joking around. I clear my throat “oh um, far away.” shit I’m not even from this universe, but I don’t think I can tell him, I would sound crazy but I don’t know any other countries here so I’ll just have to be vague. He raises an eyebrow “that’s not exactly an answer.” He says and I just laugh “well I still technically gave one, look I’m just not from here alright? It’s really.. Tch, really far away.” I say with a smile and my hands lifted.

“My turn, how old are you.” I say smiling as I sit cross legged with my arms balanced on my leg. “24, but to be fair I was trapped on an island for seven years but we all stayed un-aged so I don’t count it.” I give him a weird look at his answer. “Okay how old are you?” He asks back, his hand rested on his face, looking bored yet also interested. I let out a small laugh “old enough, erm uh I mean 18″ I blushed at my own words and mentally slapped myself as he gave a husky laugh. “a-anyways moving on, are you seeing any- Uh I mean are you seeing a therapist haha, yeah” I say mentally slapping myself again, why did I have to make it weird.

He surprisingly grins at my words a playful spark in his eyes “well, I’m assuming that first thing you were going to ask before you chickened out was if I was seeing anyone and the answers no I am single, I know surprise, and no I’m not seeing a therapist either but who knows maybe I should. But since you asked two questions I get to ask two too.” He says his smiling disappearing and he suddenly looked serious and with a gaze that could kill. I shudder looking into his eyes. “What is your magic really, and be specific not just nature magic, and where are you from really. Tell the truth and don’t bother lying I can focus my enhanced hearing on one person specifically and hear their heartbeat so I’ll know if you are lying or not.”

We both stare at each other for a moment, it’s like the whole forest went silent with us, the tension felt so thick I could cut it. I give out a small sigh “can I trust you Laxus?” I ask simply looking into his eyes once more and all he gives is a nod.

“Fine, your grandfather already knows everything okay, so I’ll tell you but I also don’t want you to think i was hiding anything just to hide it. We kept it a secret because we just wanted to be cautious, who knows what trouble it might stir up if people find out. Me and Aaliyah, we have origin magic, we were given the magic by the creators of magic, the four origin elements, I guess it’s their ghost or something I don’t know but they created magic, they even said they taught dragons their magic. So its old, really old and really powerful. That’s why our guild marks shine and act weird and we have the lacrimas on our foreheads, it connects us to the ghosts and their magic flows through it into us. We also aren’t from this world or universe, we were brought here from our world by the origins I don’t know why us specifically something about unlocked magic power in us but they weren’t specific. So there, now you know everything and I’m trusting you to keep this a secret okay.” I say with a sigh to end my very over simplified explanation of everything, but in a way I was glad he knew, it was like a weight lifted off my shoulders getting to tell him.

“I know you probably think I’m crazy, other universes and all, but we didn’t have magic in my world so this whole place is kind of crazy to me too.” I say holding my arms around my legs that I pulled up against my chest. “No, I don’t think you are crazy, I didn’t go myself but Natsu and some others from our guild they went to another universe called Edolas so it’s not that crazy.” Laxus says with a smile. My eyes widen “seriously? that’s crazy, I wonder how many different ones exist. Hm, maybe as many as the stars.” I say looking up into the night sky past the tree line. Laxus just shrugs “maybe”

“Hey...Were you being for real about the heartbeat hearing thing? Or was that a bluff to get me to tell the truth?” I say giving a playful glare he just chuckles “No it’s real, dragon slayers can be a bit crazy” I shudder a bit at his words but he lays down and I assume he’s ready to sleep.

I scoot over to my sleeping roll and lay down on it. I can’t sleep because of my nap earlier so I lay with my small blanket on top of me and stare up at the stars wondering about the universe and how infinite it is. I shiver as a breeze passes by and try to huddle up under my blanket but it doesn’t provide much warmth. Suddenly a big arm sweeps over me and grabs me around the waist and I let out a quiet gasp as it pulls me flush against Laxus’s chest and I go tense. I feel a breath against my neck and a husky voice whispers “for keeping warm, so don’t squirm” I feel my heart hammering against my rib cage as his arm keeps me stuck against him.

I wan’t to sleep but having him this close to me, his face right next to my neck and his front against my back, I might have a heart attack and die before the sun comes up. I close my eyes and try to ease my heart and calm myself down, I wonder if he can hear my heart right now and hear how crazy he makes it, tsk idiot trying to kill me with his charm huh. Eventually I am able to once again fall asleep feeling the warmth radiating off against him onto my back and I unconsciously grab the hand around my waist and hold it as I drift to sleep.

I blink a few time and yawn as I wake up. Groaning with the sunlight in my eyes I roll over and shove my face into whatever was next to me. When I feel the surface rise up and down I remember how I fell asleep last night and my face instantly heats up into a dangerous level. My eyes shoot open and I see Laxus awake and looking at me “morning” he says with a smug smile.

I quickly shoot away from him and clear my throat “um, yep yeah good morning, great I’m doing great, wow look at the time, haha I think it’s time to head back, you know the guild is pretty close now haha yes time to take off.” I say standing up and hurrying around grabbing my stuff and shoving it back in my bag.

I hear him chuckle but he doesn’t say anything and we finish packing up and head off again. I choose to try and keep quiet this time and stew in my own embarrassment. I still walk behind Laxus because he just out paces me but we don’t really speak the whole way back.

We finally make it back to Magnolia and I grin as we enter the town “well, thanks for getting me I guess I’ll head back to my dorm now!” I say and try to take off but a hand grabs my shirt as I try to fast walk off. “Uh nope, you have to go to the guild first, you know go ahead and see what the punishment is.” I can hear the grin in his voice and I gulp as we turn and walk towards the guild.

We both walk in and everyone looks at us some chuckling because I’m assuming they all know Laxus put me through walking home and because I’m about to get punished as well. Aaliyah is already in the guild sitting at a table with Freed, probably got news I would be arriving this afternoon and came. Her and Freed get up and walk over to us I wave at Aaliyah “sorry, we took so long Laxus made us walk back.” I say with a glare his way.

“I’m just glad you’re alright and recovered, I was worried about you when you passed out from using that much magic but you look fine.” Aaliyah says “And I’m about to get a punishment because of you.” I grimace at her words. We all approach the bar where Master is waiting for us. I know everyone isn’t crowded around us but I can feel them starting and listening just waiting to here what punishment we get.

Master clears his throat and starts “While I’m glad you two made it back okay with no harm done, you both broke a rule here, taking a S class job request while not being a S class wizard. While you did complete the job you both could have been seriously harmed taking on this job that is out of the realm of what you should ever even try attempting and we had to send other guild members after you. So while this is your first time breaking a rule you both must have a consequence to your action. So both of you will be personal servants to the guild members who rescued you, Hannah you shall do whatever Laxus requests and Aaliyah you must do the same for Freed, this punishment will last for three days.”

Me and Aaliyah stand there in shock at his words. “Oh god help us” I say looking at Laxus who has an evil grin on his face. Part of me that I don’t want to listen to is kind of excited getting to spend more time with Laxus, and doing whatever he says... well that’s an interesting fantasy, but no! I will act like I hate it because no man can tell me what to do, and if they do I’ll act like I hate it!

I look at Aaliyah and she looks fine after getting over her shock too, I’m sure shes fine with spending more time with Freed too. I look back up at Laxus and gulp, let’s hope he’s not too bad.

A Whole New World Pt. 8

Me and Aaliyah get up and I get ready for the job. “You sure you can do this? I mean you are going to have to use magic to heal and restore nature and fertile ground to the whole village, I hope you have enough stored up to do it.” Aaliyah says while getting reading. “Yeah yeah I think I’ll be fine, let’s go, no time like the present!” I grab the flyer and we both head out.

After checking out of hotel room we find the village leader who posted the job, “my my you are both quite young, I hope you can do it” I just smile “I’m sure I can don’t worry ma’am, I’ll come back after I’m done, and I’m sure you’ll know when I finish.” Me and Aaliyah walk to the center of the village. I sigh and stretch a bit and crack my neck to hype myself up.

“Okay here goes nothing” I say as I kneel down putting both my hands on the ground and feeling the earth beneath my fingertips. I can definitely feel the dead- ness of this area, but I think I can fix it, it’s gonna cost a lot of magic for this whole village but, no going back now. I breathe in and out and close my eyes and begin the spell of regrowth “Bring back life to this earth, take the soil and nature and bring life back to this once green town, incrementum!” (Latin for regrowth im not creative) as I feel magic flow through my body after a bit I realize how truly taxing this spell is, but I keep pushing. After a bit I start to sweat and my body really starts to take the toll of the spell, ah come on Hannah you can do this you are almost there I can feel it

I keep pushing myself as the spell is almost complete on the whole village I’m panting and feel my body going almost numb. I almost pass out but manage to complete the spell and I open my eyes and the village is flush green with new flowers in bloom all around us. I smile as I fall over on what feels like the verge of death but I manage to laugh as Aaliyah quickly rushes to me and shakes me “I’m okay, just need some rest, I can’t really move my body right now”

As I say that laying there on the rejuvenated dirt I feel a rumbling coming deep from the Earth under us. “What the hell is happening” Aaliyah says as she gets up, I can barely turn my head to look as a giant creature burst from the ground near the edge of the village. My eyes go wide but I still can’t move my body “Oh fuck!” Aaliyah shouts “Hannah just stay here I’ll go try to fight it off” she says as she runs towards it.

“Aaliyah wait” I say trying to move my arm weakly, shit Hannah, you did this didn’t you? Doing the spell that healed the Earth here must have awakened this monster. Aaliyah can’t take it on by herself, oh god help us. I try to move again but still can’t find any energy in my body, “shit come on move you stupid body help your friend!” I say with tears pricking my eyes but my body stays still. All I can do is look as Aaliyah does fire magic on the monster but it seems almost resilient to it.

It grabs her and starts to squeeze her “No stop! Aaliyah!” I try to scream as I move my arm a bit but I start panicking and my brain gets dizzy from trying to move around too much. Suddenly over the panic of people running around I see a huge blast of lightning hit the monster and I see it go down almost immediately. My eyes widen again “could it be...” and I see a large figure walking towards me and “oh shit” I say as Laxus towers over me while I’m laying down. He looks angry beyond belief but he also looks... worried?

He sighs and picks me up carrying me bridal style, and if I wasn’t on the verge of passing out I would have probably blushed like crazy being so close to him, and him carrying me, but I’m way to tired to care. “Aaliyah..” i say barely able to get her name out and he looks down at me “Shes fine, Freed is getting her.” I smile “thank you god” I whisper before passing out in Laxus’s arms.

When I wake up I look around and sit up in a bed “where..Oww crap” I say holding my head, “God I feel hungover again’ I groan before all my memories come back from when I passed out and I look around before my eyes land on a glaring Laxus sitting in a chair next to my bed. I gulp and look away unable to keep eye contact with him “s-so, why are you here” I wait but he doesn’t say anything so I slowly turn my head and meet his intense gaze.

He sighs loudly “really? That’s what you have to say not thank you Laxus for saving me, my teammate and a whole village? Not, I shouldn’t have stole that S class job?”

I sigh and flop back down onto the bed “Look, arg okay yes, thank you, I appreciate the help but to be fair I did the job, that monster wasn’t in the description, it just, happened.” I say grumbling and rolling over.

I can feel his eyes burning a hole into my back “that’s another reason, if you were an S class you could have handled that monster, when you are an S class wizard you need to be prepared for the unexpected, it’s a tough job and you weren’t ready to take it, you have to earn that right. Luckily no one was hurt” Laxus said surprisingly sounding levelheaded.

I sigh and roll back over clutching a pillow and give him a downcast look “I know... I really am sorry I just, wanted to see if I could handle it, I had trained a lot in the month you were gone and I’ve gotten a lot stronger, I just wanted to push my limits, I mean I have to, I need to save...Er just never mind.” I say pushing my face into the pillow I was holding for a second before peaking back out of it “did we at least get the money for the job” I ask timidly and he glares again.

“Yes, but I feel like I shouldn’t even give it to you.” He says but he puts it on the nightstand next to me anyways. “You can have half of it if you want, you did help after all.” I comment.

He rolls his eyes “No I don’t want or need any of that money, besides” a smirk forms on his face “It’s enough to see whatever punishment the master has planned for you and Aaliyah when you get back for breaking a rule.” at his words my eyes widen and a chill runs down my spine. “I’m not getting kicked out am I...” I say feeling the anxiety in the pit of my stomach.

He chuckles “no, but you better not break anymore rules or who knows.” I sigh in relief but the ‘punishment’ whatever it’s going to be is still in the back of my mind. I sit up again “so where is Aaliyah and Freed” I ask.

“They went ahead and took a train back together since I told them I would stay with you until you woke up and were alright.” He says and I snicker a bit “oohh alone on a long train ride together hmmm interesting hehe”

Laxus just raises an eyebrow at my ambiguous words but I just grin at him, “oh it’s nothing” I say before sliding to the edge of the bed and standing up. Laxus stands up with me, probably in case I was going to fall but I stood on my own. “Hmm, that nap helped a lot, thanks for taking me here, I guess we should hurry and buy the next train ticket back to Magnolia.” I say grabbing my bag.

Laxus chuckles deeply “oh, no no we aren’t taking a train, we are walking back, my own little punishment for making me come out here on a train to get you, I have motion sickness didn’t you know” I make a face at him “Umm, no? Big bad Laxus gets motion sickness..Wait I thought only dragon slayers got sick from vehicles?” I say and he shrugs “I am a dragon slayer” and my mouth drops.

“WHAT? Since when? You weren’t raised by a dragon, the fuck?” I say in shock and he rolls his eyes “I had a lightning dragon slayer lacrima implanted in me as a kid alright, so I’m like an artificial one.” My mouth is still agape and eye squinted thinking about his words and then it clicks “ohhhhhh, that’s how you heard me those time, and you did sense me when I was sneaking up to get the S class job! You looked right at me and honestly it was terrifying.”

He smirked “yeah I could smell you but I didn’t go up there because I couldn’t see you, just thought it was your sent left from where you were earlier, should have known to go up there and try to grab you, would have saved me the trouble of having to come all this way. How come I couldn’t see you anyways? What other tricks are up your sleeve? I thought you just had nature magic” and I shrug “I mean it kinda is, I just camouflage or blend in with my surroundings, like a nature defense mechanism. Impressive huh.” I say smirking with my hands behind my back as I lean forward toward him in a playful manner. He leans down close to me and I blush before he says in his deep husky voice “maybe a little impressive” before backing off again.

I clear my throat and grab the money I earned and put it in my bag “well it’s like a long ass walk right so we should probably get going.” I say as I put my bag on my shoulder. “Ready when you are.” he says throwing his bag over his shoulder before and strolling out of the room. I follow behind him trying to keep up with his pace as he checks out of the room and we head out.

Meanwhile Aaliyah and Freed are sitting next to each other on a train ride back to Magnolia. “You know this was a reckless thing to do, even if you did the job successfully Mira still would have known a job was taken without going through her first especially an S class job.” Freed says with a concerned look in his eyes.

Aaliyah sighs “I know I tried to tell Hannah it was dumb but she really wanted to test how far she had trained and she probably would have gone without me so I agreed to come to try and keep an eye on her at least.”

Freed hums in agreement “Well I’m glad you are both safe and we arrived in time to fend off that monster and you both are alright in the end. Hm, but Hannah really did heal the village despite that, her magic has grown considerably, yours too, you did some good damage to that monster, it was just unlucky it was resistant to fire or you might have had a chance of defeating it.” He says giving her a smile.

Aaliyah returns it “thank you, yeah that monster really wasn’t part of the job, I don’t even think the villagers knew it was hiding down there, we sure as hell didn’t, I mean Hannah did the job and I was surprised she pulled it off, even though she passed out after I’m glad shes okay too, and getting squeezed by that monster was not fun that’s for sure, I owe you and Laxus one.”

Freed chuckles “yes well, Master also has a punishment for you both breaking a rule when you get back which I’m sure won’t be too bad, since you and Hannah haven’t broken any rules other than that and it’s just your first offence I’m sure he’ll go easy on you. Just try not to make it a habit, for your own sake.”

Aaliyah looks at him with a worried look “oh great a punishment, just what I’m looking forward to. At least we still got the money for the job, so it wasn’t all bad.” She yawns and Freed looks down to see her head rested against his arm and that she’s fallen a sleep. He smiles down at her and makes sure not to move as to not wake her up.

A Whole New World pt. 7

*A 1 month time skip occurred, also I’m changing it to take place after the war and Zeref and Acnologia are dead already but it’s before team Natsu leaves for the 100 year quest, so the ghost origin magic creators brought us to get read to fight the White Mage as the big bad trying to destroy everyone*

Me and Aaliyah sit at a table laughing and chatting with Levy and Cana, over the course of this past month we’ve done plenty of jobs and our magic has grown significantly, from jobs and independently training. Also we have grown to know everyone in the guild and it feels like a second family, although still no one in the guild knows about our origin magic except Master, and we hide our Lacrimas on our forehead with bandanas. We also hide our guild marks since they change shades of the mark’s color, Aaliyah wears finger-less gloves and I wear shirts or outfits that cover mine on my shoulder, just so no one asks unnecessary questions.

“Hey you’ve been looking down lately what’s up?” Cana asks and I shrug giving a pouting look “Ohh, nothing... Just I hope Laxus and uh his whole team obviously is doing okay, they said it would be like a month for their job and well it’s been like three days past a month so I just hope everything went okay... Stop looking at me like thatttt, I don’t like Laxus hes weird and egotistical and ugh fine as hell but I don’t like him” I say glaring at the three women all looking at me with grins on their face.

Mira comes and brings me my drink “well there isn’t anything to worry about because we got word they are going to be home tonight, maybe you can even welcome him home.” She giggles as she goes back to the bar and I roll my eyes and give a big sigh. “You guys are impossible besides pester Aaliyah shes probably worried about Freed, they totally have their own thing.” I say in defiance.

“Wow you two really have a thing for the thunder legion huh I mean Evergreen has Elfman poor Bixlow, he’s gonna be all alone” Cana says snickering. “Hey I heard Lisanna and Bixlow might have a thing going on.” Levy says leaning in closer to all of us.

We all giggle “I mean personally I wouldn’t mind seeing what that mouth could do, I mean the dude has the longest tongue I’ve seen, he shows it off all the time by sticking it out too.” I say trying to hold my laughter in, and right as I finish my sentence the doors bust open and “well well speak of the devils” Cana says tipping her cup back and drinking the whole glass in one gulp. I shake my head at her actions never ceasing to be amazed by how much that woman can drink.

I turn my attention back to the group of four who strolled in and Laxus doesn’t even turn his head to look at me, but his face looks angry, “geez, I hope their job went okay, Laxus looks pissed..” Cana points out and I don’t say anything, I just furrow my brows. “well, me and Aaliyah are gonna head out I’ll see you guys tomorrow.” we both stand up and wave at our friends and I turn past a pillar to head to the door and bump into of course, “um, hey Laxus, good to see you guys are okay, so, how did the job go.” He eyes me with a stormy look and my body gets chills just from his look “it went fine” he says as he breaks away and strides out the door not giving me one smirk or even another look.

My heart clenches, “what the hell was that, Jesus is he bipolar or did one month away make him hate me.” I mumble trying not to look too mad. Freed walks up to me and Aaliyah “I’m not sure what’s wrong, Laxus was fine even pretty happy to be coming home and the job went perfect, but a few feet from walking into the guild he got that look on his face, I don’t know what changed.” He says with his arm folded but then turns his attention to Aaliyah “it’s good to see you again Aaliyah, I hope you have been well, maybe we could get that dinner sometime now that I’m back.” He says smiling sweetly with a hint of something else behind it and Aaliyah replicates it “I would like that, and I’m glad your job went good and you are all home safe.”

I smile softly at them besides my upset nature at the moment “you two are cute, come on sorry Freed we are having girls night tonight.” I say waving bye to him as I drag Aaliyah along with me. “For real though Laxus is just wow, can’t believe I was worried about that jerk, he obviously got over whatever weirdness he had towards me, probably got tired of messing with me I guess.” I say my eyes growing dark and I felt anger boiling in my veins.

“Hey hey, we don’t know whats up with him it could have been something else that just had him pissed off and you caught him at a bad time, just give him some time.” Aaliyah says to me trying to calm me down. I give an aggravated yell “yeah fine, look I need to go to a hot spring hotel spa and calm down, I’m paying, we’re staying the night”

We get to the hot spring hotel and check in for the night. After putting our bags in the room we head to the hot spring. We both take off our robes and sink into the hot spring. I put my wet towel on my head and let the hot water soak into my bones. “God, I could stay in here forever, it helps that there is the magic rejuvenation to it as well, I always feel so good afterwards, like I could take on the world.” I sigh and add “hey I have kinda formed a plan over this past month, it’s dumb but I was bored, and it will be a good way to put our increased magic power to the test and get a butt fuck ton of money.”

Aaliyah gives me a suspicious look “okay... It probably is dumb but I’m here for a ton of money so spill it.”

I grin evilly and sit up in the spring “okay so, I’ve been practicing my camouflage powers and I’m gonna sneak up to the second floor and snatch an S class job request, it’s harder than the regular quests but I think we can do it.” I explain and Aaliyah laughs “oh yeah that’s dumb, you know dragon slayers have enhanced senses we learned that from Natsu, he’ll probably smell you and point you out, and those requests are usually super dangerous, do you want to get us killed and then risk the chance of the world I don’t know, dying because we aren’t here to stop the threat?”

“Pfffff I think we can do it and you are coming with me, look if it helps I’ll grab one that doesn’t look toooo dangerous, but we need to push ourselves, we still aren’t super strong and we need to be to take on the evil whatever is coming. And I’ll just grab it when no dragon slayer is in the room, then boom easy” I say confidently with my arms crossed.

We relax in the hot spring until late at night when we head back to our room. We spend the rest of the night snacking, laughing and looking through magazines about hottest wizards. We fall a sleep late into the night, feeling the best I had in weeks.

In the morning we head back to the dorms and I tell Aaliyah to stay here and pack while I go in early before a lot of people arrive and I’ll sneak in and grab one. She agrees and starts packing for both of us with two bags while I make my way down to the guild.

I focus my magic energy on blending in with my surroundings and becoming invisible and camouflaged. I open my eyes and look down to find I was successful. I smile and sneak into the guild. Good good, no dragon slayers yet, I better hurry though get up and get out. I move along the side of the guild avoiding tables with early morning people sitting at them and I slowly make my way up the stairs. I take the third step and I hear the doors open, I freeze and turn my head my shoulders slump as I release my tension because it was only Laxus, not a dragon slayer (I still don’t know hes a [fake] dragon slayer I just think he has lightning magic and advanced hearing)

I turn back towards my goal and take a few more steps but as I look over towards Laxus again I realize hes stopped moving and is staring right at where I am. I freeze, my blood running cold, but no I’m still in camouflage it must just be a coincidence. Then he starts to make his way over to the stairs and my eyes almost bulge out of my head, shit shit he’s an S class guild member fuckkk he’s probably wanting to get a job request. I slowly take a few more steps hoping to calmly get up the stairs and hide on the second floor before he makes it up.

He stops at the bottom of the stairs as I reach the top and he looks once again right where I’m standing and glares like hes trying to see, something that’s not there... But turns around and walks back to the bar before taking a seat. I let out a quiet sigh of relief and continue my way to the S class request board. I look over them quicker, this is a smaller board so it’s easier to read them all.

I see one that has a request for someone to come heal their village because all the plants and greenery have been dead for a few months and no crops will grow. I contemplate it since I would be doing most of the work on this one but then I shrug and take it, I’ve been practicing my regrowth magic and healing of plants and restoring life in nature so this is perfect to test how far I’ve come. Let’s just hope I can do it, I mean the reward money is 500,000 jewels, I’m sold.

I snatch the job request from the board and put it in my shirt and take another breath before making my way back down to the first floor. Laxus is having a drink and doesn’t look my way again as I make my way out the door. I take a deep breath as I’m outside the guild and let myself return to being visible and make my way back to Fairy Hills into my dorm room.

Aaliyah is done packing and I show her the job “I don’t think I can do anything for this job you sure you picked a good one?” I wave her off “Bah, there weren’t many good ones and I figured I could just take the lead on this one, I’ll still split the money with you just be moral support.” She shrugs at my words and we make our way to the train station and take off towards Koa village.

When we arrive it’s late so we decide to stay overnight before starting the job so I can get a good nights rest and store up my magic energy for preparations.

*Back in the guild after we arrived in the village*

Mira comes down from the second floor “Master! Master one of the S class job requests is gone and no one signed off with me for it, I think it was taken by a regular guild member!” She says in a panic.

“Hmmm, this is troubling, does anyone have an idea of who took it?” The Master says and everyone who is there just shrugs and looks around. Laxus lets out a big sigh and has that nonchalant look on his face as always, the Master looks at him “Do you know?” He asks

“Yeah, I think so, I didn’t peg her for a trouble maker, I was sure I smelled her scent though, tch should have trusted my senses but I didn’t see her.” Laxus said taking a swig from his drink.

“What do you mean you didn’t see her, you smelled her scent but didn’t see her?” Mira questioned.

“Yeah that’s what I said wasn’t it” Laxus snarked back. “Hm, she must be developing new aspects of her magic if we couldn’t see her, I bet she look Aaliyah with her” The Master said in deep thought, and Laxus gave him a questioning look about the ‘other aspects of her magic’ comment but didn’t say anything. “Mira give Laxus and Freed the location of the job request and have them go after Hannah and Aaliyah, when they bring them back they are going to be in for their punishment.” The Master says and everyone shivers at his last comment.

Laxus rolls his eyes but stands up and Freed who was sitting next to him follows suit, getting the location and going back to gather things for their journey before setting off on their own train ride towards the village Hannah and Aaliyah were staying, Laxus holds his mouth, struggling to not look sick “they are gonna owe us big time” he grumbles but then decides to keep his mouth shut for the rest of the train ride.

A Whole New World pt. 6

I sigh as I finish drying off and put on some shorts and a tank top I bought the other day. I walk back into my living room and Aaliyah is sitting on the couch and I sigh as I look over “yeah yeah I’ll spill the beans, god, okay well I went to give his jacket back and oh yes if I didn’t think I could embarrass myself anymore than I already had I was dead wrong. Mira told me where to find him in the guild so I go into the room hes in and I am so stupid I didn’t realize what it was in the first place, it was a damn like public bath and I manage to TRIP into the DAMN BATH AND I FALL and of course hes right THERE and i got his fucking coat wet and I looked down and realized he was naked and it wasn’t just like a pool” I say in a dramatic way with my head in my hands groaning loudly. “Oh, wow, I don’t even know what to say really that’s hilarious but, did you see it? Like how big was it.” Aaliyah says while smirking.

“GOD I don’t know I looked and as soon as I saw his lower half was fucking naked I didn’t stare long enough to see how big his dick was, and oh yeah even better I got so embarrassed that my magic went a little haywire and I made flowers and vines literally bust out of the ground. So that was great they need to call a gardener or weed exterminator to go fix the bath area because of me now. And damn it I got his fucking jacket wet.” I rub my face and groan loudly again.

“God we need to go on a job tomorrow, start saving money, and maybe have a nice relaxing shopping trip.” I say looking at Aaliyah “Yeah, doing jobs will help us train which we really need and honestly maybe we should go somewhere to practice our magic too not just on jobs because we really need to get stronger, ohhhh and I met someone from our guild today.” Aaliyah says to me.

I raise an eyebrow “Oh yeah, thats cool I feel like there are a bunch of people who we haven’t met yet, I feel like I only ever see Laxus, but we did meet Nab and Mira and the guild master, oh yeah and that stripper guy Gray I think, but who did you meet? I hope they were nice, I feel like everyone has been so friendly.” I ask while sitting down on the couch next to her and putting my feet up on the coffee table in front of it.

“He was nice, I actually bumped into him and asked if he could tell me where the bookstore was since I was just wandering around trying to find it, he was going there too so we just walked together and I didn’t even find out we were in the same guild until we introduced ourselves at the bookstore. He was sweet and helped me reach a book, he has really nice long green hair too, but ehm yeah he was really helpful.” She said and I eyed her then grinned.

“YES, you have found someone I can tease you over nowwww, I bumped into Laxus the first time I met him and now you bump into a man and he just happens to be in the same guild? Ah, fate is a funny thing.” I say giggling.

Aaliyah playfully glares at me “I thought you didn’t believe in fate and does that mean you think you and Laxus are fated then? Because I think you are, I mean how many times can you interact with a person like you and Laxus have before you realize you like each other and should go out? Apparently a lot for you two.” I wave her off, “blah blah, maybe I do like him but I mean come on hes a hunk, I said it before I’ll say it again I don’t even know the man I couldn’t possibly want to go out with him, I would love to see him in that bath again.”

I shake my head to stop my thoughts from wandering too far into dangerous erotic territory and I cough. “So, anyways I was thinking we should go out to eat for dinner, maybe try to find some places with food we like. Just to relax and have a nice night.” I suggest.

“Hmmm actually that does sound nice. Freed was telling me some places he liked on the way to the bookstore I think I remember a few that sounded good, let’s go.” She says hopping up. “Hmmm you and Freed huh, kind of a weird name.” I say scrunching up my face and she eyes me “any weirder than Laxus?” I stick my tongue out “fair enough fairy enough, let’s go.”

We walk out of the dorms and the sky has started to get dark, “Hm, perfect time for dinner, I’m already starting to get hungry.” I say as my stomach rumbles to confirm my hunger. We walk along the streets of Magnolia taking in the early nightlife. Everything is starting to come alive from people coming home from their jobs and wanting some relaxation with their friends.

The low sun casts a beautiful orange pink glow on the city and the summer breeze gently warms me and I smile. This place is truly magical isn’t it. I feel so at peace here, brimming with life and possibilities. Aaliyah leads us down certain streets as she reads a map she bought earlier. “Here, he said this place had really good food for dinner.” She says pointing at the sign ‘Little M’s’ I shrug “I trust you and I’m sure we can find something good in there.”

We walk in and I gasp softly, “damn, it’s gorgeous in here” I say while looking at the ceiling with multicolored lanterns all over, which made the whole restaurant glow and give off a light pleasant atmosphere. My gaping mouth slowly turns into a smile as we sit down at a table for two “I hope the food here is as good as the way it looks, man holy shit this is the prettiest restaurant I’ve ever been in.” I say still in awe, and Aaliyah nods also looking around at everything.

The bar was wide and had an aray of drinks to see behind the counter and Aaliyah catches me gaze “oh no, don’t even think about it, not tonight at least, no more rubbing yourself up on hunky men alright, you are a lightweight anyways.” She says to me and I make a face “pffft, come on I was just admiring, I’m here for the food alright, no alcohol, it wasn’t even my fault, dumb wizard alcohol didn’t even taste like it had any liquor in it.” A waitress comes up and hands us both menus and asks for our drink order “I’ll have hmmm, what do you recommend that’s sweet” I ask “well, I personally love our peach milkshakes, the peaches are locally grown and the whip cream is homemade as well, it’s delicious.” I nod “oh yeah I’ll take that and a water thank you.” Aaliyah orders a watermelon iced drink and a water.

We look over the menu and several things catch my eye, eventually the waitress comes back over and I order the Blue Sky Bolognese and Aaliyah gets the Fresh Kagoshima Ramen. We talk about everything that’s happened since we got here and laugh about how we already have so much going on and how we really need to train more and drink our drinks while enjoying ourselves. Eventually our food gets out to us and we dig in. “Ohhh wow, your friend Freed was right this is so good man.” Aaliyah nods in agreement “oh mine too, we should come here more.” We eat while listening to the soft music being played.

“Excuse me ma’am we would like our ticket now.” I say to the waitress as she passes us “Oh, well this kind man actually paid for your tab hes right up on the second floor.” She says pointing up at a table on the second floor right next to the edge where I could see and I grip my fork. “Laxus...Are you kidding me. I’m gonna, God help me I don’t know.” I sigh as the waitress looks concerned for me but I hold down my anger and Aaliyah tries to not laugh at me getting red in the face again.

“Oh that’s weird Freed is up there with him I guess they know each other.” Aaliyah says while she waves to Freed and I look up to the table to look at Freed but make eye contact with Laxus and his damn smirk as he waves at me and I just glare back, red in the face, “Laxus, if you can hear me, I swear I’m gonna, oh god I don’t even know where I’m going with that sentence, forget it.” I grit my teeth and put on a fake smile and wave sarcastically at him. “Okay time to go.” I say and get up and Aaliyah just sighs “you are so weird, a man pays for our food and you get mad”

I pinch the bridge of my nose as we walk out “I’m not really mad, it’s just I don’t like when people I don’t know pay for my stuff and I keep embarrassing myself in front of him and he keeps helping me, it’s frustrating, look that person is selling cute key chains I’ll buy him one as a thank you gift and give it to him real quick.” I say walking over and buying one that had a green leaf with a lightning bolt on top of it. I hold it up smiling sarcastically “perfect, cliche and everything. Ugh, I’ll show that bastard to buy stuff for me.” I grumble and we walk back into the restaurant and head up to where his table is he turns around in his seat and smirks like he was expecting me.

I give a sarcastic smile as I approach him “well well, I was wondering if you were going to come up here and thank me.” He says sounding absolutely sexy with his deep voice and I have to stop myself from blushing just hearing it. I clear my throat and hold out the key chain “Right yeah thank you, and here it’s a thank you and a sorry for getting your jacket wet and everything else that I did.” I say not looking at him “So, this is what you meant when you didn’t finish your sentence of ‘if you can hear me I swear I’m gonna’” My eye widen at his remark “well good to know you somehow have super hearing as well as lightning magic.” He shrugs as he takes the key chain and his fingers brushed against mine, they felt incredibly warm and they look so big, I wonder how they would look holding mine.

I once again shake my head “Hm, cute, It’ll be my good luck charm for the S class quest me and my team are leaving on tomorrow morning, probably won’t be around for a month or so.” He says looking at the chain and my heart sinks a bit “oh, well, erm stay safe I guess, and good luck.” I say and Aaliyah says the same to Freed who has been sitting and watching our conversation from across the table.

They both thank us and we turn and leave once again. “Damn, they are going to be gone a whole month, that... Hpmh that sucks, won’t have any eye candy for a while, but this gives us time to train without me getting distracted so, that’s a plus.” I say and Aaliyah nods but we both stay silent thinking about the two men who we will probably not be able to get out of our minds for a whole month being gone as we walk home.

A Whole New World Pt.5

Me and Aaliyah walk down from Fairy Hills towards the guildhall. “Hmmm I guess we should get a new job today, maybe chill for a while though, and meet some new people. I feel like not a lot of people know us yet.” I say “Even though I’m not really one for socializing with people I don’t know... We should anyways just because we are part of a guild and everyone is friends there yeah? We are newcomers so we should take the effort to try to meet them, it’ll be good to have friends who can help us if we need it.” I also add kicking a rock while trying not to dirty my new cute romper I bought yesterday.

“Aaliyah we look so cute, I’m glad we got new clothing, and now that we wear these bandanas no one will look at us weird because of our crystals or.. What did that old dude call it, umm lack something? Lacrima I think which I guess is like a type of crystal here maybe a magic crystal. I feel like we should go to a library or something here to read about magic and I don’t know the whole country and city we live in too, everything feels similar to our world but I know it’s different with all this magic.”

We walk into the guild hall and both take a seat at the bar again. “Hi Mira! I’ll take a drink and I can pay this time!” I say while flashing some of my money. Mira giggles “I’ll take it the job went well yesterday!” She says while placing a mug on the bar in front of me. “Oh hell yes it did, Aaliyah was awesome, of course I provided moral support, everything would be boring without me.” I say while putting my hand on my chest dramatically. Aaliyah snorts “oh right like you could survive without me either” I gasp “oh of course I couldn’t” I laugh and take a sip of the drink, my eyes light up “Damn this is delicious, mmmm I’m gonna have like 3 more” Aaliyah sighs “You always over do it, I’ll just take a water” Mira nods and hands me another glass full of the drink and a water to Aaliyah.

After I finish my second glass my body starts to feel warmer, I touch my face “Arhg who turned the heat up in here, I feel dizzy too, someone get me a fan damn it” I say my words sounding slurred. Mira looks at me with a mischievous glint in her eye “Can’t hold your liquor huh Hannah, don’t want to over do it” Aaliyah looks at me “liquor?! Hannah you got drunk here already?”

“WHAT! I know what alcohol tastes like! This wasn’t alcohol? Why do I fee like this... heheh I’m really glad we are here, I like it here” My vision blurs as I slur out random thoughts. huh so this is what being drunk feels like, I hope this is legal, Mira wouldn’t have given me alcohol unless she thought I was though, “I don’t want to go to prisionnn” I whine. “Ahhh it’s so hot, stupid romper” I say while pushing my sleeves down and pushing the top down to my waist so my top is only covered by my bra “Ahh that feels so much better” I say giggle grinning while taking another drink.

“Good god Hannah what the hell is wrong with you put your clothes back on” Aaliyah scolds while looking embarrassed of me but I just laugh louder drawing more attention, some people laughed and held their cups up to me while I heard others saying “Whoa look at her guild mark why is its color changing” I guess they just noticed since my shoulder is exposed now. I ignore them and down some more of my drink and suddenly a coat is thrown on me. I try to look up but someone puts their arm on my head and I twist to try to see, it weighs heavy on my head and when I see a tight fitted shirt that allowed me to see the details of the person abs underneath, I blush.

“Oh what a mess we have here, drunk so early in the day?” I feel like i recognize the deep husky voice but I don’t look at the mans face I keep staring at his chest, and with his arm on my head hes so close that I can smell him and “wooow you smell really good” I say as I press my face against the chest next to me “what body spray do you use” I mumble my face still in his chest “Oi! What are you doing?!” He says soundly genuinely shocked. I hear Mira giggle behind the bar and I look up with drunk hooded eyes as I run my hand down his chest. “Hehe you have realllly nice abs, hunky lightning man, you know I would say our chemistry is electrifying?” I laugh a bit too loud at my own joke, the alcohol had turned into liquid courage, bringing out my more intense personality that only my close friends get to see.

“Oh god damn it Hannah, sorry I’m taking her home.” Aaliyah says as she pulls me away from Laxus and drags me off, his coat still on me “God you are going to regret this when you are sober... And now we can’t do a job” She says while shaking her head as I giggle and trip over my own feet while walking back to our dorms. “Mmm this jacket is SO soft, and it smells like him too.” I say as I stumble while Aaliyah drags me along. We finally reach my dorm room and she plops me in my bed, she brings me a glass of water and I drink some before snuggling into his coat, “Mmmm I wish this was himmm in my beddd with meee” I sigh and I drift into a drunken sleep.

POV shift

Aaliyah sighs at Hannah’s body curled up on the bed with Laxus’s jacket. “Well I guess I’ll find something to do without her until she wakes up. She was saying how we should go to a book store or something to learn about this place more so maybe I’ll buy a book or two for us, I got nothing else to do anyways.”

Aaliyah makes sure Hannah is still sleeping and makes her way out of the dorms. She walks back into the city and wanders around for awhile “Jeez I should probably just ask someone where the bookstore is instead of wandering around... I don’t even know the area well yet.” She mumbles and while distracted by looking around accidentally bumps into a man. “Oh I’m sorry I didn’t mean to bump into I wasn’t paying attention.” She quickly says and they make eye contact, whoa damn hes good looking, oh thank god Hannah isn’t here or she would start teasing me about this, she thinks while blushing as he smiled at her “no my apologies I wasn’t being aware of my surroundings as well as I should have.” He says while maintaining eye contact.

“Actually can you tell me how to get to a bookstore, I’m new and haven’t really gotten to know the city yet.” Aaliyah says looking a bit sheepish. “Oh, I was headed to the bookstore myself, I can walk you there if you want.” The green haired man says “Oh really if it’s not a bother that would be great.” Aaliyah says.

“Oh it’s no problem at all” Along the way he points out certain facts about stores and which restaurants have good food or drinks. The conversation seemed so natural and flowing eventually they reach the bookstore. “so here we are, there are some other ones but this one has the best collection of book on a number of subjects.” The man says as they enter the store together.. Aaliyah looks around a bit looking at some shelves and the man walks back over to her after grabbing a book for himself “Is there a particular subject you are looking for, I don’t work here but I come enough to know it well enough, I’m actually a wizard in the guild located here, Fairy Tail, and how rude of me I realize now I haven’t even told you my name, my name is Freed Justine.” Freed says and holds out his hand to Aaliyah and she shakes it “my name is Aaliyah and this is funny but I just joined Fairy Tail yesterday, I guess we haven’t had the chance of running into each other yet, me and my friend just moved here and joined.” She explains to him as they let go of their particularly long hand shake.

“Oh yes I see your guild mark now, interesting, I’ve never seen a guild mark look like that before, the way it changes shades of color, how peculiar, what type of magic do you use.” He asks while eyeing the guild mark on her hand. Aaliyah blushes “Um I use fire magic, just the basic throwing fire around you know haha” She says while trying to be ambiguous about it, he looks at her “Hm yes your magic power just feels strange, I’m not sure how to describe it, oh please forgive me I don’t mean to intrude or pry, I use rune and enchantment magic, hence why I find myself reading so many books and such. Most of my magic comes from writing runes.” Aaliyah listens intrigued “Well I’m mostly here to try and research Magnolia since we just moved here, my friend was particularly interested in the layout and it’s history.”

He gestures for her to follow him and he takes her to a certain isle of the store “Here are all the books on Magnolia’s history and you can find a map at the front of the store where you pay.” Aaliyah thanks him and looks around the isle while the man turns to look at books behind them. She sees a book that looks interesting but its on the top shelf and her 5′3 self tries to reach it with fail. She huffs in annoyance as she tries to reach it again on her tip toes. Suddenly she feels a presence at her back as an arm reaches up and grabs the book for her.

She blushes as he smiles and hands the book to her “pardon me I just thought you could use the help” She clears her throat “thank you, I think I’ve found what I need so I’ll be off, maybe we can get a drink together sometime or I’ll run into you at the guild” He nods and smiles at her “yes I would like that, it was a pleasure to meet you.” He takes her hand and makes eye contact while he presses a gentle kiss to her hand.

She quickly spins around to hide her blush “Erm yes good to meet you too” she scurries to the front to grab a map and pay. She waves as she leaves, still flustered from that encounter “God what luck the cute guy is from the same guild as me, Hannah’s gonna have a field day. I hope shes awake when I get back” She shakes her head but smiles thinking about the gorgeous long green haired man who was so polite yet sexy and helpful.

POV Shift

My eyes flutter open and I immediately feel like my head is going to burst open. “Ohhh fuck me, that light is too bright” I say while rolling over and I crack my eyes open and squint in confusion “When did I get this jacket.. What the hell isn’t this Laxus’s.... Oh craaaaap” I say as the memory finally comes to me along with my busting headache.

“Good you are awake, glad you aren’t in a coma” Aaliyah says slamming the door a little too hard and a little too loud for my head to like. “Crap man close those blinds my brain is dying here.” I say sounding just as dead as I feel. Aaliyah sets down a bag of stuff I’m guessing she went out and bought while I was passed out. She gives me a look as I slowly sit up in bed, “man I didn’t even mean to get drunk, I didn’t realize she gave me alcohol, shit aaaahg fuck I can’t ever see Laxus again, or anyone in the guild I totally embarrassed myself, and fuck! I just like exposed myself in my bra god I’m so dumb, first time being drunk and hope to god it’s the last.”

Aaliyah laughs some at my words before handing me a small jar of liquid “drink this, it’s a potion I bought on the way back from the bookstore, basically a hangover cure. Haha real potions man this is still so crazy to take in, and you owe me for that.”

I wave her off “yeah yeah, you said bookstore? You get some good romance stuff.” I say while downing the drink, thank god it tasted like a mix of strawberries and pineapple, and not gross medicine. I could have swore she blushed a bit but she turned around to grab the bag, “no idiot, it’s books about Magnolia, and I bought two maps we can keep in our bags so your dumbass won’t get lost again. You were the one who said we should learn more about this place so here. She threw the bag with two books on my bed and I take them out, my head already feeling better “Mmhm, cool stuff I’ll read it later though, shit this magic potion is seriously good stuff, my hang over is already gone, fucking amazing. Shit wait I have to give Laxus his jacket back.” I say remembering the article of clothing still in bed with me.

“Fuck his chest did feel amazing though, but I can’t believe my drunk self would just rub up on a man like that, ugh what a hassle, god he smelled really good too, what a man.” I say dreamily but quickly snap out of it “God I bet he uses some creepy perv magic to make girls feel like this, what a creep.” I say in denial. Aaliyah gives me a ‘really bitch’ face “Yeah sure, because I’m totalllly acting like that too, nooot, you know you have a crush, why else would you rub up on the poor man, and you are already thinking about him all the time, here comes your obsession phase.” She says while flipping through one of the books.

I fake look upset at her “I don’t obsess, my word how rude, since I’m a good reasonable adult woman I’m actually going back to the guild right now to give him his jacket and apologize because I’m normal and can handle this fine and not die of embarrassment at all! Because I don’t like that man, I mean come on you can just tell his ego is sky high, I like a humble man anyways he could never handle me.” I say defiantly.

Aaliyah looks up at me “Hannah, I honestly pray for the man who you end up dating, I don’t know how anyone handles you, myself included, and you really can do this, that’s why you keep talking and stalling and not actually doing it?”

I glare at her “haha very funny, and shush I’m going right now, gooooodbye.” I say getting up and putting my shoes on and waving at her dramatically as I leave with his jacket in hand, head held high.

As soon as I shut the door and leave the dorms I start getting red in the face just thinking about having to face Laxus again, “AAAAAhhhH GOD DAMN IT” I scream as I walk down towards the guild.

When I enter I look around looking for Laxus and I try to ignore the looks and snickers I hear, I walk up to the bar and Mira greets at me “Hannah I’m sorry about giving you that before, I so used to people meaning alcohol when they say drink I should have asked you to be more specific.” She says sounding genuinly sorry but then smiles a bit “But Laxus came to your rescue, now that was interesting wasn’t it, he seems to have taken a liking to you, I’ve never seen him give his jacket to a girl before, ever actually, and he seemed quite flustered at your actions, I see you have his jacket I assume to give back to him.”

I cough but nod while blushing “Yes, is he around, I was hoping to return it but I don’t see him, and I’m sorry I should have asked what the drink was before actually drinking it, it was my fault for over doing it.” I say rubbing my neck.

“No harm done this is a bar too, I’ve seen many drunk people, you were tame honestly I can’t begin to tell you the things people do here, I mean I’ve seen people fully strip naked, although Gray does that without being drunk, and he is here actually, just head back through that door over there, he should be there.” She says smiling kindly at me.

I thank her and go inside the room she pointed at, there is a heavy mist in the room and it feels like a damn sauna it’s so warm. “Oh god I can’t see anything because of this mist in here” I stumble around some and I feel like I hear running water “Where am I... Uhm, Laxus? Are you in here. Oh is this a pool, god what pool is this hot?” I say as I walk along the edge of the body of water, then suddenly I trip on something and yelp “Oh Christ!” I say as I lose my footing and fall in. Someone grips my arm as I surface still holding the jacket. “Are you alright, or still drunk?” I look up and of course a very shirtless Laxus is holding my arms smirking and I’m soaking wet.

I instantly feel my face go to 110 degrees and I try to avert my eyes, but good god he is sculpted like a greek god and I haven’t seen a better looking man in my life, holy shit he must work out for hours. I then look down in the water and “Oh FUCK” I say backing away from him and cover my eyes “I’m so sorry oh my god I’m- Oh shit” He wasn’t just shirtless he was completely nude.This was a public bathing area. Suddenly my embarrassment went even higher than I could take and I felt a surge of magic run through me and when I opened my eyes a bunch of flowers and vines had come out of the ground in full bloom. Oh great I can’t even control my magic. “Oh God here is your jacket I’m so sorry I got it wet, I’m sorry about when I was drunk earlier too and now with the flowers, my fucking luck, okay bye!” I say backing away from the once again shocked looking Laxus.

I pull myself out of the bathing pool and run out of the room and out of the guild still soaking wet and I don’t stop until I’m back to my dorm. I’m out of breath as I close the door and brace myself on a table, Aaliyah looks up from where she was sitting and makes a face “what the hell Hannah how did you get wet.”

I just shake my head and go to the bathroom “NOPE, NOPE.” I say shutting the bathroom door. I take off my clothing and dry off. I sit on the floor and put my head in my hands “God help me I might not survive here after all.”

A Whole New World Pt.4

I groan loudly as I hear a knock on my door and I roll over and put a pillow over my head “Go awayyyy” I say feeling exhausted from last nights endeavors....last night... “Ahhhh” I groan louder this time my face flushing with embarrassment as I remember “Laxus” I whisper and giggle, “ugh stop you are acting so dumb you don’t even know him, sure he saved you from those dudes but still...He probably just felt sorry for you and he probably saves girls all the time. Bleh with his looks he probably has lots of girls... Probably has herpes too.” Still I can’t help but giggle and squeeze my pillow thinking about him, but immediately drop my smile “stop acting like a little girl” I whisper to myself

“Hannah if you don’t get up and out here I’m going to burn this door down, it’s 12pm I’ve been trying to get you up for like two hours but we don’t have phones here so I can’t text or call you. Get your ass up!!” Aaliyah yells through my door

I groan again but reluctantly roll out of bed and put on my old clothes, God we have got to get a job today and get money to go shopping, our clothing probably smells gross. We have worn and sweated in them one day too long. I open the door and stick my tongue out at Aaliyah who is waiting for me outside with her arms crossed, “well lets go get a job and get that bag” I say while walking out the exit with her.

We walk in and my stomach immediately starts rumbling, “dude we need food money asap” I say as we walk towards the bar and take our seats, I smile at Mirajane “Hi Hannah and Aaliyah it’s good to see you both, I hope you both slept well in your new rooms, also come to take me up on the free food order?”

My eyes light up “Oh yes please, I thought you might have been joking yesterday but I’m so glad you weren’t, we haven’t gone on a job yet so we are currently broke, haha” I say scratching the back of my head and grinning. She smiles back “I don’t joke about helping two newcomers out, give me a few minutes and I’ll be out with something for you both” She says with a wink.

“Damn, I think I have a girl crush on her dude.” I say to Aaliyah and we both laugh. A few minutes pass and Mirajane brings us two plates with sausage eggs and toast. My mouth waters “Thank you so much Mirajane” I say with a few dramatic tears in my eyes as I eat the delicious food. “You can call me Mira” Her smile seemed so sweet and pure, wow I really like it here, I wonder if everyone else is as nice as this. I look up at the second floor “Hey, Mira what’s up there? Is the second floor off limits, I don’t see anyone up there?” I ask while nibbling some of my toast. She nods while cleaning some drink glasses “Mm yes, the second floor has the S class job requests which is a rank you achieve by doing a promotion trial, its a series of tasks and compete against other wizards to test if you have the ability, talent and of course strength to get the title of S class. So far we only have three current S class wizards, four if you count me but I don’t really count myself since I don’t do those jobs. They are Gildarts who is always traveling on hard jobs and is almost never here, Erza who is also known at Titania and our strongest female wizard, not counting myself, and of course our masters grandson Laxus, he’s a bit distant from people not on his team but hes a softie deep down, don’t tell him I told you that.” She winked at me. “But S class jobs are usually much harder and more dangerous, but the reward is always much better, I always say the harder the task the more the jewels.”

I laugh and continue to eat my food, hmm s class jobs maybe I can use my camouflage to sneak up there and take a peek. I giggle to myself and Aaliyah gives me a look I just wave her off, we could use the money but I guess we can take a regular job today so we can at least have money for new clothing.

We are finishing up our food and a man with black hair and a chilly vibe comes and sits next to me “Hey, the names Gray, I haven’t seen you two around so I thought I would introduce myself. I’m an ice make wizard.” I shake his hand and smile “I’m Hannah and shes Aaliyah, I have erm, nature magic. And she has fire magic.” I say being vague with our powers just to keep it lowkey, don’t want everyone knowing we have origin magic, it might cause trouble.

When I look back at him after looking at Aaliyah while introducing her I make the biggest ‘WTF’ face ever “Ummm, you seem to have... lost your clothing...” I say awkwardly trying to not look at his damn six pack right in front of me while blushing. Gray looks down a yells “Damnit sorry not again!” I give a little snort, I guess this guy strips, what, unconsciously? “Pfft” These people are something else. I giggle blushing at his crazy antics and then suddenly a dark shadow casts over me and a man steps right in between my stool and grays blocking my sight of him “Oh Laxus you are back, how was the job” I look up and my blush gets ten times worse just looking at him and remembering last night too.

I turn back in my seat back to my food, staring at my plate “It was fine, normal stuff, boring mostly.” He says nonchalantly and I risk sneaking a peak at him and we make eye contact and for a split second I see a small smirk on his face before he looks away. I huff in annoyance, jeez whats with this dude he might be hot but hes kind of annoying me, he seems so arrogant and full of himself, probably a leo too. “Hey Gray go put clothes on I’m gonna sit here.” He says as his presence alone causes Gray to move out of his chair and just nod. I raise my eyebrows and turn back to my food trying to finish faster. I turn away from Laxus to Aaliyah and she gives me a look “I’ll tell you later” I whisper and I grab her arm “time to get a job for once in our lives” I say as I jump off my stool and pull Aaliyah along with me to the request board. I can’t even be around him without feeling crazy, hmph I’ll just avoid him then, easy enough thanks to jobs.

We walk over to the bulletin board with job flyers all over it and a man standing staring at them, I smile “Hi I’m Hannah and this is Aaliyah, we are new” We both smile at him “are you looking for a job too, we’ve never taken a job before” I say to him as I look them over. “Hah, yeah right Nab never takes a job he just stands there all day staring.” A man shouts from a table near the board. Nab turns around “Yeah right Max I’m going to take a job one of these days I’m just waiting for one that only I can do!” I giggle at them and Nab turns to me “So what kind of magic do you two use” He asks “well, I use nature magic and she uses fire magic” He looks around and grabs one “This one might be a good one for your first job, not too hard but the pay is decent” I look at the flyer ‘Need help relighting our magic lanterns with long lasting fire, reward 100,000 jewels’ I hand it to Aaliyah “I think you can do it, I mean the pay is good to we split it and both get 50,000.” Aaliyah looks at me “Why would we split it I’d be doing all the work” I give her a fake shocked look “Oh my my, but we are a teammmm we are traveling together, teams split the reward, besides next time we will get a job that uses my magic and I’ll split it with you too.” I grin “Lets go, thanks Nab! I hope you find that job and it was good to meet you” I say waving and he smiles back “You too Hannah, Aaliyah, just clear the job with Mirajane before you go!”

I rush over to Mira and hold out the flyer to her while purposely pretending Laxus wasn’t sitting right there and forcing myself not looking at him. Just act like he doesn’t exist then everything is fine, I keep chanting that to myself. Mira smiles and hands the flyer back to me “It looks good for you two good luck on your first job and don’t push yourself too hard!” Me and Aaliyah thank her and wave goodbye as we leave.

Mira watches as Hannah and Aaliyah stroll out of the guild hall to their first job “My, what strange girls, and their magic power... It’s like nothing I’ve ever felt before” She says to herself before looking at Laxus with a raised eyebrow “What was that then hmmm” She says slyly while grinning “Does the big bad Laxus Drayer have an interest in our newcomer Hannah” He just stars at her before scoffing and downing the rest of his drink, standing up and walking away. Mira giggles “Oh this is very interesting” She says to herself while cleaning Laxus mug.

“SO! The village is just up a few mile north of Magnolia, jeez as soon as we make money we can take a train next time, no wonder everyone here is so fit looking they work out doing jobs and hiking around towns. My legs are gonna be so dead by the time we get there. God I bet it looks beautiful in the fall and winter though, I can’t wait.” I say while smiling and me and Aaliyah walk down the dirt path towards a small town called Aspen village.

When we reach the town we see the flyer said to go to the mayors house so we ask around until someone tells us where it is. We knock on the door and a tall elderly man answers the door. “Hello sir, we are wizards from Fairy Tail here to do the job you requested!” I say and me and Aaliyah smile at him.

“Ah yes, thank you, every year or so we need wizards to relight them with special long lasting fire instead of wasting money on resources for the lights. Just go around and light each one then come back and I’ll have your reward.It interesting to have a different fire wizard this time, we usually have a very destructive but boisterous young man who comes, it’s good to see new faces though, you Fairy Tail wizards are always so kind. ” He says to us and we smile then head out into the town again.

“Hmm looks like you have competition for best fire wizard in the guild then, we haven’t met him yet he sounds.. Interesting, I’ll try not to judge before meeting him.” I say poking Aaliyah in the side.

She laughs “yeah okay he’s probably better than me right now, but we just got here, he’s been here his whole life, probably learning magic since he was little, so it’s not exactly fair to compare yet, but hey Ignis said our origin magic has the potential to be stronger than any wizard in this world if we train enough. So eventually I can probably beat him if I had to.” I nod at her words

We walk along the street, Aaliyah lighting each street light as we come across them. “Hm, it is weird, to know you control such powerful magic, I could sense Laxus’s power last night, honestly it was the most intense thing I have ever felt, I don’t want to get on his bad side, I guess that means they can sense our magic too then. I wonder if it feels strong or weak right now, pfft my guess is weak, at least for now.”

Aaliyah is about to light another street light but she stops and turns to me “wait what do you mean Laxus last night? What the hell, tell me everything right now”

“AHG” I say forgetting I hadn’t told her yet about last night events “crap, I forgot to tell you, I was going to but then he showed up this morning and distracted the pants off of me, not in a sexual sense, well kind of, but also that other dudes pants too. Wow this is a weird world man.” I say while laughing really loud. Aaliyah laughs with me as we keep walking and she works on the street lights “Soooo stop avoiding it what happened, you two didn’t....Hook upppp did you??”

My face flushes “WHAT, oh my lord stop playing around, a man like that would never want a girl like me, I mean get real did you see the girls around the guild, they all look so much better than me and I mean him and Mira would make such a good match, shes an S class, or former S class wizard and he is too, I mean I heard that her and this other girl Erza are the two most powerful girls in the guild. They would make a great couple, I can’t compete with that, and I bet he has hordes of girls and fans who he could have any time he wants.” I say fake smiling “Besides I don’t like him, I just think hes hot, I don’t even know the man.”

Aaliyah looks at me “Righhhhht, first off you are gorgeous, stop acting like you aren’t, the other girls might be pretty too but that doesn’t make you any less hot, stop putting yourself down, and pffft who cares about being powerful besides the fact that we ARE strong, Ignis and Terra told us we are remember we have origin magic which is apparently I don’t know TERRIFYING, we just need to train! And don’t you like being weaker than the man, who knows maybe he wants a girl he can protect and be strong for.” She says while throwing up another flame into the street light. “NOW stop avoiding the subject and making me go off on a rant, what happened last night!”

I sigh and dip my head and retell the events of last night. She looks shocked “Are you serious, you went out alone, at night, in a city we just got to, and you got lost HAHA, oh man I’m sorry I shouldn’t laugh, that sucks I would have beat those dudes down. I guess its good Laxus was there, man why didn’t you use your magic?” I let out another dramatic sigh

“I don’t knooooow, I was just so terrified it’s like my brain stopped working, I’m really glad he was there, who knows what would have happened, God it’s kinda cliche though isn’t it. Like a damn movie.” I say rolling my eyes but blush thinking about how it ended. “Still I think he might like you, that little way he teased you when he brought you back, now I would have killed to see your face when he did that, I bet you were so embarrassed, honestly it’s weird that he heard you though, we were pretty far away from him when you said it... Maybe it’s part of his magic?” She adds.

“Eh?” I furrow my brows “But he has lightning magic how does advanced hearing go with that” She shrugs “Maybe lightning is just his main magic, and he has some other abilities too, you make him sound strong enough to take down this whole town, who knows what he has under his sleeve.” I giggle.

“Oh I KNOW he has GODLY biceps I haven’t seen him shirtless but I just know, under that sexy coat he always wears he has the biggest arms that could rival The Rocks.” Aaliyah looks at me, “Hannah you are drooling.” I quickly whip my hand up to my face “Oh haha, nice one, I can’t wait till you see a hot magic wizard man and I get to tease you about it.”

“So far not one man has caught my eye I’ll tell you that.” She says and I hum “Suree, just wait it’ll happen and when it does I’ll be righhhht there waiting.” I cross my arms as I walk beside her, “there we go, that should be the last one I think, I tried to think in my head burn for a very long time please, while lighting each one. I hope they actually stay for a while or I’ll feel pretty shitty.”

I laugh “who knows with our origin magic you might have accidentally made them burn forever and then we won’t ever get to come back and make more money here.” Her eyes widen “Do you think I could actually do that, that’s kind of scary.”

“Pffff, who knows, we honestly don’t know our true strength yet, I mean I can do camouflage why couldn’t you create I don’t know, infinity flames.” I say while waving my hands dramatically.

We walk back to the mayors house and get our reward, 50,000 jewels each. We wave goodbye to the mayor and head off back to Magnolia.

“Look we can take the train now, but we should probably buy a bag or purse to keep our money in when we get back. Hey are you okay?” I say to Aaliyah and she nods “Yeah just glad we can take the train, using all that magic really drained me, I don’t think I could walk back home.”

We buy our train tickets and board, “Gosh, we really need to train, we can’t save the world if this drains us, maybe we can get a mentor? Someone who can teach us how to use our magic” I suggest

“Yeah but we could just call up the origin ghosts, they said we could contact them if we had questions, I mean they are ghosts what else do they have to do all day.” Aaliyah says looking sleepy. “Hm, yeah but I think It would be better if we got someone actually living, maybe we can ask who we should ask to be our mentors though, I bet they know a bunch of powerful wizards with the same kind of magic as us.” Aaliyah just nods and we eventually reach Magnolia.

“Okay, I know you are tired but we should go shopping, we really need new clothing, and a bag and some food, then we go home.” I say as we get off the train.

We walk through the streets of Magnolia until we find a clothing shop and I drag Aaliyah inside. We both go around the shop and I find a cute olive green romper with a matching headband, “Hmm, 10,000 jewels, I’ll take it” I buy the outfit and buy a bag to go with the outfit and to keep my money in. Aaliyah picks out a cute black tank top with red pants, a matching black bag and “Ohh look at us we both have headbands, we are so cute. Come on food is next!” I say hurriedly as we run off to the market.

We both pick out different ingredients and two different cook books to use, I go to reach for a bag of chips that look yummy but my hand connects with someone else reaching for the same bag. An electric current runs all the way up my arm “Jesus, you scared me sorry I mean you can take them.” I look up at him and I fidget looking down at some other snacks as he grabs the bag of chips and buys them. “Here” he says as he hands them to me and walks off down the street.

I blink a few times... “Uhm, thanks..” I can feel the heat in my face again, but he was already gone. “Stop stop, it was just a weird conicidence and he was just being nice.” I say smacking myself in the face a few times and Aaliyah walks over looking at me weird “Stop looking at me like that!!” I snap “AHG sorry god he always has to show up at weird times doesn’t he.”

“Dude Laxus again?!” Aaliyah says “What happened now?”

“BAH he tried to grab a bag of chips I was also trying to grab to buy and duh our stupid hands touched, dumbass lightning wizard I got shocked. And then he bought them after I said he could have them and he gave them to me, the nerve!” I say with a huff. Aaliyah laughs “Oh man, this is so funny, you like him so bad it hurts.” I glare at her “Hell no, come on lets go home”

I turn around and walk back towards Fairy Hills. We both go into my dorm “I’ll cook tonight I think i got some good stuff, and this cookbook has so many recipes I’m excited to try!”

We get to work in the kitchen and make braised fish with miso soup. We eat and laugh together, “man I feel more like an adult here than I ever did back home” I say while eating some soup.

“I mean we are only 18 it’s not like we had to instantly become adults at 18″ Aaliyah says and I sigh “I know I know but I just feel like at least I’m accomplishing something, I never felt like I did anything in our world, I feel like I have a purpose here, and I’m glad we came to this world together, I don’t know if I could have been here by myself.” We both smile and I add “hey I wonder what the drinking age is here.” Aaliyah scoffs “of course you would want to know”

“Come onnnn it could be funn, I wonder what wizard alcohol tastes like, haha oh I bet they have hot springs we can visit, ohhh I’m so excited even though the world is gonna end and we have to stop it and we need to train, I don’t care right now. I’m just excited to explore and have fun too!” We both laugh and talk the rest of the night, just like back home.

A Whole New World pt. 3

Me and Aaliyah walk up to Fairy Hills and get settled into our new dorm rooms, they are next to each other but it’s nice to have my own room. It’s got the main room a bedroom and a bathroom. Thank god it has plumbing and “Ahhh a full bathtub, I can soak in this for houuuuurs” I say dreamily, “screw it I’m taking one now, I’m sweaty from that hike”

I fill the tub up and check under the cabinet and find some bottle of liquid, I read the properties of it and it says it has remedy effects for sore muscles and when you pour it in the bath to say the color then what you want it to smell like. “What.. No way it can actually do that” I pop the bottle open and pour it in the tub, “Pink and mint” As soon as I say it my eyes go wide as the bathwater turns a bright pink color and I can smell a fresh mint smell wafting up from the bath. “Holy shit, magic is fucking awesome, I think I love it here.” I climb into the bath and my muscles immediately relax and I let out a sigh, I haven’t felt this good in so long, It’s like all my tension floats away and melts in the hot water.

The water finally turns cold and I get out wrapping my body in a towel and look at the time. “Hmmm it’s only 10pm but I’m exhausted. Forget it I’m passing out now.” I say flopping into bed not bothering to put any clothing back on. I drift off into a dreamless sleep.

My eyes crack open and I give an annoyed growl because the sun was not up yet, “God, I knew I wasn’t going to sleep the full night if I went to bed before 1am” I say rubbing my eyes and seeing the clock saying 3am I let out a pained groan, “you know, I really am not one for walking around alone by myself at 3am in a city I don’t know yet BUT I can’t sleep and currently have nothing to keep myself busy with and hey apparently I’m super powerful sooo...Screw it.” I get up and put my clothing on “Ew, these smell gross, first on the list when I get money, new clothing.”

I open my door and look outside to make sure no one else is out and about, I don’t think there is a curfew, I mean we are adults we can come and go as we please but, just in case. I also have my camouflage so I think I would be fine either way, not that I’ve really mastered using it, but whatever.

I get out of the building and take a breath of fresh air, it really is beautiful here, the stars are out and the moon seems extra bright tonight. I smile as I walk down to the city, the lanterns light up the deserted streets and it’s oddly serene. The warmth of the late summer air feels so nice on my bare arms. Then the next instant the hairs on my neck stand up, what is this sensation? It feels like... terrifying magic power. My eyes widen and a cold sweat breaks out over my skin, chilling me, the power is so intense it doesn’t even feel human.

I whip my body around to look for the person who was emitting that terrifying aura but I see no one, and I hold my arms suddenly feeling exposed in my tank top and shorts. It’s 3am jeez who else is out, damn go to sleep... pff like I’m one to talk. I giggle despite still feeling a bit petrified as the chills go away.

What was that, God that magic power felt insane, I wonder who it was or if they are part of a guild... or, was it even human... I speed up my pace as I decide now would probably be a good time to go back home. I let out a shaky sigh as I make my way through the streets again, I walk down an alley and- wait. “Oh shit, where am I?” I look around but “Yep, fuck I’m lost, damn it” I hear some chuckling and turn around again, Is it the same person as before-no, these people are emitting magic but it’s, lesser and different than what I felt before, and I feel multiple presences, hmm three of them. Its strange I can tell from just feeling their magic near me, they are weak- how do I even know that.

It’s such a strange thing, but I can also feel them through the ground. It’s like I’m communicating with the earth itself, I could feel every step they took and what direction they were headed. Which happened to be right towards me. It was dark down this alley and eventually the three men came into where my eyes could make them out. All three were well built and tall, they were getting closer to me and I could smell the alcohol all the way from where I was standing. Fucking drunks.

My arms and legs were braced. My whole body tensed up with the stupid situation I’d gotten myself into. Jesus Hannah you know this kind of stuff happens to young women who go out alone at night, how can you be so dumb to think it wouldn’t happen to you. But there eyes on me, I shivered feeling their magic energy coming off them, it wasn’t as strong as mine but I still felt so small and scared under their evil smiles and piercing gazes.

Could I really take three people on in a fight? I have magic now but I haven’t even fought anyone, ever. My hands start to sweat and my heart beats faster, I- I can’t, how do I breath? I feel my chest tighten up and my anxiety makes me feel like I’m going to pass out. The three men are getting even closer “Ohh, look at this cutie, I bet we can have some fun with her.” The other two snicker menacingly as one reaches to grab me “n-no please, don’t touch me” My eyes start to tear up as I back away from him more tripping and falling backwards, magic, I have it now, use it Hannah. My brain is stuck with fear and I can’t even start to think about how to even use my magic.

I close my eyes trying to stop the tears of fear as the men reach for me. I’m so helpless, even with magic I can’t stand up or protect myself. Such a helpless idiot. Then suddenly it was like the sky came down from heaven itself and three giant lightning bolts struck the men in front of me. My mouth falls open and my eyes go wide as I see another man standing in front of me, he is taller than the other three, wait.. that spiky blonde hair, I’ve seen it before. Oh my lord, it’s hunky lightning man. God, I really need to find out his actual name so I can stop calling him that. Jesus his magic, it’s the most powerful thing i’ve felt.

Wait this magic, it feels familiar.. Suddenly it goes off in my head, the power I felt earlier, it’s the same. So he was back there then too, he was who I felt. I look up at his face and honestly almost shit myself, he has the most terrifying look I’ve ever seen, If his lightning didn’t kill them already it looks like he is about to with his bare hands. But instead he just tsks and starts to walk away and in the process he steps on one of the dudes to walk over him, without even looking at me.

I stand up quickly and rush forward, without thinking I grab the hem of his coat and a surge of electricity courses through my body. I gasp, I was so shook up I didn’t even see the mini lightning bolts surrounding his body. He looks back his face not as scary as it was when he was looking at the dudes who tried to attack me but still I couldn’t read it at all. His eyes pierced right through me, it’s like they could see right into my soul, fuck this is why I hate eye contact, the eyes always give you away.

“I- just- erm, thank you..” I say while my face turns redder than Ariel’s hair, hopefully he can’t see it since it’s so dark. He doesn’t say anything, still having the blank look on his face staring at me, God this is awkward, I wouldn’t feel like this if he wasn’t so damn hot, I mean look at him, I could melt right now. I don’t even feel like I was about to have a panic attack a few seconds ago, I feel so safe being close to him, but so nervous and scared too, and insecure.

“You’re welcome” I look up surprised and if my face was red before, after hearing him talk for the first time my body went from a regular temperature all the way to a fever that could cause brain damage, actually I think I do have brain damage now, because I can’t remember how to speak or form words. Note to self when clothing shopping buy new underwear. He starts to walk away again but “shit” I mumble “A-actually, I’m... I got lost, can you help me, I- Live at Fairy Hills, the girls dorms for the guild. I’m a new member I joined today.”

His face remains expressionless, albeit bored, but he nods and turns away with his hands in his pockets, “Oh thank God” I say quietly as I speed up trying to keep up with his long legs, Jeez I thought I was tall but my legs are nothing compared to his fucking 6′4 legs.

We make our way through the city and it seemed like in no time we were climbing the hill towards the dorms, the whole trip we didn’t say anything. I guess hes not much of a talker.. Mmmm sexy silent type, I dig it I think to myself while trying not to drool staring at his back as I walk behind him. Ahhh I wish I could see him shirtless, I bet he looks amazing, I can just tell even with a shirt and jacket that hes ripped. Wow Hannah this is how you think about the man who just saved you? Jeez, damn virgin. I cover my mouth to laugh at my own little joke but he turns his head with one eyebrow raised and I just blush again and look at the ground. I guess he heard that, gosh he probably thinks I’m crazy laughing to myself.

He walks me to the door of the building and I open it and walk inside “Uhm, thanks again, for- hah everything I guess, helping me with those guys and helping me find my way back, I um I owe you one, or two really.” I say looking up barley able to make eye contact, god his eyes are too much to take looking at for more than a few seconds, his gaze alone could kill someone.

He nods and turns to leave but stops and turns his head and with a little smirk says “The names Laxus by the way not hunky lightning man.” And with that he turns around fully and walks off into the night. My eyes almost roll into the back of my head and I feel like my body could explode right there in embarrassment. “H-how, when, what, when did he even, how did he hear that,” I manage to crawl back up to my dorm room while being mortified and drag myself back into bed. “How am I ever going to look at him again, this is insane.”

I didn’t manage to fall asleep and keep playing back our interaction the whole night in my head.

A Whole New World pt.2

I keep a steady pace walking east towards my destination, or I guess I’ll just trust Terra that it’s the right way to get out of this huge forest. I never was one for hiking but thank God it’s not too hot. Eventually I see another figure walking in a few yards in front of me. My eyes widen and I mutter a thank God before picking up my pace into a run towards them.

“Aaliyah!” I yell as I run at them from behind and skid to a halt as I accidentally run past them since they stopped. “Thank God the friend they were talking about is actually my friend and not some rando!” I say exasperated and panting a little bit from my sprint.

She laughs “So I was wondering who that creepy fire ghost looking thing was talking when they were explaining all that BS to me, really wizards? Saving the world, ultra powerful magic? Why us? This is too much like a movie, it doesn’t make sense.”

I nod as we walk together, feeling much more comfortable with an actual friend by my side in this apparently foreign world. “Yeah I don’t know it still feels too much like a dream to believe it’s real, wait have you tried using magic yet? I guess you are fire so how does that work, apparently I can control like plants and dirt and shit- not actual shit but, never mind you know what I meant. I haven’t tried doing magic yet because like I don’t know she said some shit about visualizing it in my soul and reaching and finding the magic inside myself but I’ve just been hiking to get to the damn town right now”

Aaliyah laughs “Hell yeah watch this” She hold her hand out and a flame pops up and just she grins at me “Damn! I’m failing already pfft I haven’t even tried to use any, let me try to do something ugh god hold on” I shake my head, wow we are supposed to save the world together and I’ve not even got the basics down. Okay oh god what am I doing. I close my eyes and call to the forest and for a split second I felt a tug inside me and I open my eyes and a vine is wiggling in front of me, my eye bulge and I wave my hand at a tree and the vine curls around the tree going all the way to the top. “Oh, wow, okay this is pretty sick, but I don’t think I’m ready to fight anyone, like what am I gonna do to stop the evil from destroying the world, strangle him with my vines, geez I feel like poison Ivy.”

Me and Aaliyah laugh and keep heading back in the direction of the town, as we walk it seems like the tree roots move out of my way, my mind starts wandering and I trip on a fallen branch “Shit!” I close my eyes and brace my hands in front of myself but no impact comes. I open my eyes and a few vines had come together and caught me before I fell, I was stunned and looked over at Aaliyah, she looked stunned too before throwing a small ball of flames at the vines which caused them to disintegrate and I fall to the floor with a yelp. Aaliyah is laughing but I glare at her, smirking, I control a tree branch and wack her in the back, and we both laugh as I get up.

“Wow this is kind of, really fun, in a weird acid trip type way. I mean damn this magic is really cool, isn’t it weird, it feels so natural once we’ve tried using it, I feel so connected the plants and everything here, It’s like I can feel the ground breathing under me, in sync and harmonious with all of nature. I’m sure it’s gonna get a lot crazier than this though, I know I’m not ready to fight any super powerful wizard.” I say while my hands drift over the plants and flowers. “Well I’m kinda sketched by being in this forest, who knows what weird animals are here that aren’t normal since it is a different world than ours, probably some weird human eating monkeys or some shit.” I shudder at the thought and we both pick up the pace.

“Do you feel like we are running kind of weirdly fast, and I’m not tired at all? Is this like because of all the magic, are wizards super humans here?” I ask while hopping, I focus and try to jump as high as I can and I actually jump up into a tree. “WHAT THE HELL” I look down at Aaliyah and I start laughing really loud “Dude this is actually insane, okay I’m really fucking excited about being here now, this is LEGIT CRAZY, I’m gonna try to jump down and hopefully I can land without breaking my legs, LETS GO” I say and hop down on to the forest floor. “I swear I feel like a crack head right now, I’m going insane.”

We keep walking and honestly how big is this damn forest, “Hey Aaliyah lets take a break, my feet are killing me, we must have been so deep in the forest.” I say while leaning up against a tree and Aaliyah nods sitting down on a log near me. I feel so relaxed with the breeze flowing through my hair I close my eyes. It almost feels like I’m sinking into the tree like we were connected as I leaned against it. “Hannah?! Where did you go?” My eyes snap open at Aaliyah’s words “I’m right here what are you talking about?” I look down at myself and “Woah what the hell” It’s like my body has taken on a camouflage form and my body has blended in with the tree. Aaliyah sees me as I wave my hand and I stand up but my body shifts with the scenery “Okay.. this is cool but how do I get it to stop. Oh lord.” I focus and imagine my body normal again and I open my eyes and “Wow that worked? Huh they do say to visualize what you want.” Aaliyah shakes her head “How come you get cool shit like camouflage and I get to shoot fire out of my hands” I laugh at her comment “Bro I bet you are like immune to being burned by fire though, like you can probably do a lot of shit we just haven’t found out yet, like this party is just getting started.”

After walking for what seems like miles we finally reach the tree line and we stand on top of a hill overlooking the whole city “Wow” I say breathless, the view is gorgeous, the city has classic looking brick buildings and my eyes immediately go to the gorgeous cathedral, it took my words away and I could only stare, “Damn, imagine getting married in that...Holy crap. Hehe maybe I’ll find a man in this world.” I say with a stupid smirk while elbowing Aaliyah, she just shakes her head “Maybe we both will” [rip shaun ur not in this universe]

“Look that other big building must be a guild right, it sounded pretty infamous so it must be in a big building, interesting logo... Well lets head for it then.” We both shimmy our way down the hill and make our way into the city.

My eyes wander around all the buildings, restaurants, clothing stores, bakery’s, and magic shops, book stores and houses. “Wow these houses are adorable, I bet they are expensive. Wait shit where the fuck are we gonna stay? Oh god we have no house no money oh lord crappp.” I say outwardly freaking out to my friend while we make our way through the streets towards the giant building that is the guild. “Okay, yeah but let’s just get to the guild and join and then maybe we can ask for a place to stay on a loan or something, right?” Aaliyah suggests and I nod, anxiety still at the surface of my insides.

“Bro we have got to go shopping after we get money some how, I honestly don’t know how this world’s money and jobs work but maybe people join guilds for jobs? So maybe we can use our magic to make money yeah? God I hope or else we are just using our magic to save the world and I would also like to eat... Money is at the top of my list right now.” I say while slouching a bit since I didn’t realize how hungry I was from that hike.

We approach the doors of the guild “So, you ready to explain this all to that Makarov dude and join this shit, cause I’m gonna get food money one way or another.” She shrugs and I shrug back and laugh “Fuck it” I open the door and we walk in. I look around and a couple people look our way but most are simply keeping to themselves and drinking with other people I assume are in the guild.

“Why do I feel like when people look at us they are staring at our crystals I mean that can’t be weird right, I mean magic exists here they can’t be weirded out by crystals on someones forehead.. Oh god” I shake off the stares and we walk towards the bar to ask for their guild leader.

“Hi” I say with a smile to the bartender with long white hair who look gorgeous, and she smiles sweetly in return “Hi what can I do for you?”

“Well we are magic- uh users, wizards yes, ehm, and we were wondering if we could speak to your leader about joining? This is Fairy Tail right..” I say while blushing a bit at my awkwardness.

She just smiles more with a twinkle in her eye “Yes, this is Fairy Tail and give me one second I’ll get our master”

I look at Aaliyah and make a face “master? We have to call him that.. Haha bruh okay kinky but I guess I’m down” I say while laughing at my own joke, I can’t take anything seriously even when I know the worlds gonna end huh.

A small old man approaches, and by small I mean good god hes walking along the bar to stand at my height, ew I hope they wash that bar. “Hello ladies, so I take it you two want to join, and you are wizards who can use magic yes, then of course you can join, welcome to Fairy Tail!”

I look at Aaliyah and make another face “...It’s that easy? Uhm okay well actually thank you but can we talk to you in private about something.” I say and he just nods and motions to follow him as he jumps down off the bar. We enter the room and explain the situation to him “Hm yes I understand the Lacrima on your foreheads better now, well I’m concerned with these new revelations especially that the four origins deemed it so concerning that they sent their own magic wielders, it is probably in relation to the dark wizard Zeref but thank you for trusting me with this information, if you go back out the same woman who greeted you will give you your guild marks.”

“Thank you so much and erm well Terra or Earth origin brought us from... lets say very far away and we don’t really have anywhere to stay or actually we don’t have anything with us at all, so is there somewhere we can stay on a loan maybe, until we can get work somewhere.” I ask shyly while feeling itchy for asking to stay somewhere for free.

He grins “Since you both are sent here for important reasons we do have dorms for our female wizards you can stay in and we will give you rent for six months for free, but if you decide or have to stay longer on this quest which we would love to have you even after this threat is gone, then you will have to pay the rent, I’m sure you will both be having money come in by then anyhow, you both seem very adaptable. I’ll come out to explain the situation to Mirajane and get you keys to two dorms you can stay in.”

We follow him out to the woman and get our dorm keys, and she hold out a stamper I assume it’s magic and going to permanent unless we leave the guild, she asks where we would like it and I choose my right shoulder while Aaliyah gets hers on the back of her left hand. When Mira stamps my guild mark on she looks shocked for a moment and stares “What- oh no whats wrong with it” I look at my shoulder and the guild mark is green but its constantly shimmering and changing shades of green, “...Is that normal” She looks and stamps Aaliyahs hand where she asked and it does the same as mine but is constantly changing shades of red.

“My, my how strange, guild marks are solid colors, they never act like that... You two are very strange indeed, not a bad strange but very interesting!” She says while giggling. Me and Aaliyah look at each other with a silent ‘so much for not drawing attention and people asking questions.’ Mira leads us over to a bulletin board with flyers on it. “These are job request flyers, most people take on jobs that their magic is useful for but some jobs don’t require magic and are just an odd job of helping retrieve or do a task for someone.” She explains and I think to myself jeez this is a lot easier way of making money than sitting in an office wasting away for fifty years of my life. “Thanks for explaining it to us Mirajane!” I say smiling “We better go get settled into our dorms and then we will probably be back to pick a job. Since we need the magic training too!” I say smiling and me and Aaliyah go to leave. She waves at us and tells us to come by for a free meal or two later.

I grin at her words and open the door to leave but as I step through I hit a solid mass and fall back a bit, Jesus Christ what the hell who put a brick wall right outside the door- oh, oh no. My face instantly goes beet red at the sight of the 6′3 no maybe even 6′4 solid man with a fluffy coat on his shoulders and blonde hair shining in the sun, his unbothered eyes meet mine and I have to look away because yikes, they are just too intense to ever hold eye contact with.

I grab Aaliyah’s arm and slide past the man before anything else could happen mumbling a sorry and then when I’m a few feet away and still internally freaking out over the damn hottest man I had ever seen or good god felt in my whole life I said “Holy shit Aaliyah I think I’m gonna stay here forever, screw our world that man is the FINEST thing I’ve ever laid eyes on.” She rolls her eyes “I mean if that’s what your into I guess, you could never hit on him though, you just freak out and go full defense mode and insult whoever you like, plus he could be married.”

“BAH! You need to stop actually knowing me so well that you can call me out on my dumb way of flirting, but I seriously pray to gods everywhere he isn’t married, did you see that lightning scar on his eye oh my God I think I’m melting that big hunk of lightning is the yummiest thing, oh god I’m just gonna stop talking because you are right even if we interacted which we never will I’ll just act uninterested and probably insult him.” I shake my head as we continue walking toward the Fairy Hill’s dorms as I sigh in a dramatic way “We are doomed, we are probably gonna fail at saving the world and I won’t get my lightning hunk.” I fake cry like a drama queen and Aaliyah gives me an eye adding “Stop being a pessimist, we might be able to save the world, if we actually train our powers and not waste time drooling over men, then we might have at least a small chance.”

I make a pouty face at her comment and add “Yeah but maybe if I get hunky lightning man he can just help me fight and I won’t have to do much.” I say laughing evilly, then I sigh “yeah you are right we should train, I guess get a job or two together too. Oh lord this is gonna be a long, pfft I don’t even know how long it is till the end of the world so I can’t even say.” We both laugh as we make our way towards the dorms unknowing that a certain hunk of lighting caught the beginning of my comment.

A Whole New World

My eyes slowly flutter open but I’m greeted by a sight I don’t recognize. I’m not in my warm comforting bed where I should be but a cold foreign environment. Ugh I feel like I’m swimming but floating... Where am I why can’t I move... I manage to open my eyes but there is nothing but a green haze, no liquid? I can’t even tell where or what I’m in. I must be dreaming, but jeez I’ve only had like one lucid dream in my whole life and this one is just weird, I’m not even able to do anything.. My dreams usually at least have a plot, this must be one boring night. “No, you aren’t dreaming.” My eyes dart over to where I hear a voice. There is a woman type figure floating in front of me. “Who are you? What is this, some sort of government test tube I’m in and you are some projection I’m seeing who is going to explain whats happening to me because trust me my brain has nothing the government could ever want.” I can see a ghost of a smile on her face, her body is very wavy and even translucent? Her long flowing hair, and her whole body.. unclothed yet very anatomically incorrect, she is shaped like a woman, but... weirdly smooth, no genitals yet breasts, and her whole body shaded green like the substance I’m in.

“I can hear what you are thinking, you are inside me so nothing here is private, you might as well voice your thoughts child.” Of course at that comment as any normal human would I make a face voicing my what the fuck thought, at her comment. “Okay... So not a government lab rat right now, then I have no clue whats going on since you weird nonhuman thing I’m as you so wonderfully put it, am inside right now, which please explain how I’m inside your body as well thank you, can you please just tell me where I am and what you want. Another ghost smile flows across her face “I think I choose the right person, and yes I will explain everything to you, all in good time. But for now I’ll explain it basically so you can try to understand.”

“I’ll try to understand but it doesn’t mean I’ll believe I’m not dreaming right now.” She laughs which seems to echo all around me, unnerving me a little, maybe I am inside her.. But what the hell does that even mean.. “Like I said and you are once again thinking out loud since I can hear you, we are connected now since I’ve brought you here.” I take a long drawn out sigh, “Okay I’ll play along, you brought me here, wherever here is which is apparently inside you and we are ‘connected’ now, okay but big question, why, what am I here for and why me, I’m legit nothing special?”

“Give yourself some more credit, even though you come from a land which has no magic attributes at all you have incredible magic potential inside you which is rare for a human from your world. Here in magic flows through everything, the sky, the earth, even the people who live here, like you they have magical capabilities, sadly only 10 percent of people can access their power here, in your land only .01 percent has any magic in them at all, but even those that do cannot use it since magic cannot be accessed in your world. You have a surprisingly high magic store locked inside you, I am helping you unlock that potential and am giving you my own magic powers, the power of the Earth itself, nature and the ground are yours to control”

I sit taking in all the information she is giving me trying to process “Okay, wow that’s... a lot to take in, so I now have Earth slash nature magic? I can what, grow trees and make dirt float? And you still haven’t told me who you are.”

She laughs which feels like it vibrates through every partial surrounding me “That’s a very simple way of explaining what your, our, powers are but yes you can make trees and all of nature grow or use it to attack or protect yourself, there is quite a bit of that in this world, as I said it’s very different from how yours works. I know you are very adaptable I’m sure you will figure things out quickly and fit right in.”

I give her a skeptical look “As long as there is plumbing and it’s not like medieval times, I guess I’ll be fine, now I’m guessing you already know who i am so why don’t you go on to the part about who you are”

“Yes, I do know you Hannah, 18 years of age, female, and we are connected so I know other parts like your personality and such, now as for who I am, you can call me Terra but I’m really so old when I came into existence names weren’t really a thing, I didn’t get one until the humans gave me one, I guess some would call me a God but I’m known mostly as the ambiguous mother Earth, creator of all things in nature and earth. I’m part of what is called the origin elements, you are being made element Earth and nature, one in the same really, the others are of course water, fire and air. Since we are the origin of these magics and really all things magic, every type of magic has branched from what we created we are called origin for a reason, we even taught dragons their magic, but that’s another story, the four of us are too powerful to have our magic reincarnated or humans having it at the same time, only two are allowed to be alive with our magic at a time, this time it is my magic bestowed to you and Ignis’s or fires, magic has fallen upon another, I believe you are friends with her as well, it is quite interesting that you and your friend have such large untapped magic potential for living in your world and you happen to become friends, it is part of the reason you both have been chosen for this task, which we will explain more later. For now I’ll put the basics of the way to use magic in your mind, but you must build up your abilities on your own. I know this is a lot and I’m almost done, but we only bring our magic out when something is going to happen in this world that is possibly going to end it, and our magic through you can help stop it, only you two are powerful enough, plus a guild to back you up of course.”

“Okay okay, please oh my lord this is too much, so my friend is here? And she is using fire origin magic and I get nature or earth origin magic, and we basically have the magic that started all magic? And we have to use it to save the world from a possible threat that could destroy or end your world here. And I need to join a guild? What the hell do I even tell them?”

“Well we suggest waiting until they are aware of the threat and then explain you can use your magic to stop it, but if you join Fairy Tail I do suggest telling their master and only him, it is best to keep these things in a small contained amount of people knowing, and I know him a bit and their first master, they’re both very trustworthy and might I add powerful, I believe he is your best choice, I think his name is makarov dreyar. Fairy Tail, now that is one amazing guild, I’m sure you will find it so once you join.”

I let out a long breath “Okay okay, I think I’m ready to get this moving along, I’m sure there is more to know obviously but I’ll find Fairy Tail and meet Makarov and join his guild and then proceed learning my magic and wait for the worlds imminent destruction.. that me and my friend are somehow going to stop.. because we basically have ‘origin magic’ creator of all magic magic, super powerful, that yeah I definitely don’t deserve.. But I’ll just roll with it...This totally doesn’t sound like a movie that isn’t real but alright I’ll play along. Can I get out of ‘you’ now?”

She smiles and holds out her hand and in the next second I’m sitting in on my butt in the middle of a huge forest in front of a giant tree that is the largest I’ve ever seen. Huh, I must of been inside that tree, I guess that’s part of her. “So how do I even access my magic?” I question.

“Well it’s all inside you, but at the same time our magic is tied through the crystal on your forehead.” She points and I react by reaching up and touching it, what the fuck... That wasn’t there before, eh I dig it though. I think while being weirded out and overwhelmed by everything simultaneously. “You can reach out to me by touching your crystal and saying my name, I’ll come to answer your questions but only you can see me since our magic is tied.” Terra says while I stand up and look around.

“So okay, how the hell do I get to Fairy Tail, since I’m in a huge, forest and no clue where I am.” I wander around a bit and look at her following behind me, floating while also looking like her essence is connected to the whole forest it’self. “Right now we are in the kingdom called Fiore, and the city is Magnolia, simply head east and you will reach the city where you will have no trouble finding Fairy Tail, I know it is quite infamous.” She points the way that is east.

I rub my face with my hands “Right, okay and my friend?” I say looking around and trying to feel my ‘inner magic’ or whatever bull. “Head east and you will bump into your friend Ignis is sending her on her way now.”

“Alright then, let’s do this” I say and start my hike in the forest east to the start of my journey and adventure that I never thought could happen, honestly I’m still skeptical.
