“Laila!” the girl with the red hair call me with a very funny face with her. I’m Laila Rain Madison. She approached me with a fast breathing.

“Hey Carly…it’s been a long time since then.”  I said while gazing at the window. This school never change.

It still full of different people. Everyone have their own different meaning in life. Somehow they just wants attention and someone who hides their faces with their happy mask but never been true to anyone.

“Laila! You’re not listening… It’s like I’m talking to air.” I was back to my sense back when Carly shout at me. She wore these annoyed face which makes her look funnier.

“Sorry…It’s been a long time since then. I miss these place after all.”  I said. Her face change into amazement. She looks like it was a miracle for me to say it.

“What?” I asked her back that makes her return in reality.

“Hey…You’re not Laila! Give me back my Laila! Where is she!?”  She said while she keep on checking me out.

“Carly stop it! It’s me Laila… you red hair brat…”  I told her with annoyance. She still loud same as before. She’s the walking microphone in our town. Since way back then.

 “Omg! It’s really you blonde! You were so dramatically looking outside this last 5 minutes… It’s not really like you! You were not even listening to what I said!” She said with her most irritated tone I could ever hear.

“Yeah…What can you expect with the girl who used to live here for almost half of her life and gone in three years…” I said back with full of sarcasm. She was stunned for a moment. Then suddenly turns into a serious one.

“Yeah it’s been three years since you left these town without any notice. Yeah who am I to ask…I’m just the red hair girl who you leave…”  After that she leave the place with no expression at all. You’re still the same as before…You never became so true to yourself Carly Ray Ford.

I looked outside again. This place is full of lies I can’t believe that I go back here once again. I should never go back here.

I get out of the room, the air inside makes me feel sick everyone here is full of mask. As I get out all I can hear was gossip about me who used to be a transferee in the middle of school year. I’m so used to it, it’s none of my business after all most especially not my problem. Everyone in the hallway wears a mask. Different kind of mask. I can see it but not him. He has this smirk on his face while intently looking at me. I need air…the real one. This place was full of illusion made by him. I just remain calm. He didn’t even gives me goosebumps. I know what his up to but unfortunately he can’t use it to me.

I go to the mini garden outside the building I can see the white piano in the middle of the garden. It’s always there. His illusion can never get into it. I started playing sonata no.14 op. 27 no. 2 (Moonlight) by Beethoven.

“You can never defeat me…”  I said in a calm voice. I can see his eyes turning black… most of the peoples mask were getting broken but not all I know it can never happen but his illusion is getting weaker. I smile at him the innocent one. And start playing in middle with a very fast tempo.

“In just a blink of my eye right now…your illusion will fade…”  With the last tap of my finger in the key everything shattered into pieces. The school who looks so new turns to be broken. The place was all messed up. This place was filled with darkness.

The only thing remains was my old piano. It’s not as good like before but it can still be used.

“You never understand me! For a girl who can easily abandon this place don’t have the right to go back!” His eyes was full of anger, his fist was closed so tight. I’m not affected by his words anymore. Cause I know everything more than anyone else.

“I just learn how to live in the dark…Your illusion will never made them alive…” I said. As I started to walk. I used my car key and leave him behind.

He will never be happy with those illusions…That will only made him a prison of the past.

Let me introduce myself properly to you. I’m Laila Rain Madison known as “Time Keeper”.

I’m not an ordinary girl anymore. I don’t have any innocence now. I was known as a sadist also a masochist. I don’t kill physically but I can hurt anyone else emotionally that they will want to kill their selves.

Believe it or not people want to have a frozen time just to keep their own will alive even if it means bringing back someone to life…

These world is fair but people just care only for themselves. People like them never understand that time is precious as your life is. Time will flow for you until the day you will die. People wanted to live long but they can never see how precious life is until it last…

 No matter how hard the sun will try to shine so bright for you as long as you don’t let it enter you you’ll always live in the dark…

Darkness never exist…it’s just the disappearance of light in your eyes…People like me who lives in the dark will let you know that dark is just NOTHING to be afraid for…

I was a happy kid ever since the day I grow up and do little things. But things turned out the other way around. I am so happy getting out of that cage and stop studying pharmacy as my college degree and changing it to Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering. Funny thing is that they don't know what I really feel. They don't know how their words affect my every decision. This is thr first decision i ever made in my life yet they keep on making me feel that I am an fucking idiot chasing her own dreams. They didn't know how hard for me to accept every single thing they said to me. Choosing something for me. Damn it. It's their fault why I ended up choosing pharmacy because of their dreams not mine. Everyone around said that I made the wrong choice. I made a big mistake in my entire life. Where am I really belong... Every single thing... Every single things they say hurt me the most.
