update on doaa’s campaign!

if i could get your attention for a second- i’ll make this quick. i have posted before about doaa’s campaign, here is a longer post with more info. this is a verified campaign.

basically doaa @dodoomar12345 and her 5 year old autistic son omar are currently in egypt after fleeing the war and genocide earlier in the year. omar is non verbal and has been severely traumatized by the war. treatment and special schooling is very expensive, and like many other gazan refugees doaa was forced to leave with very little.

thanks to your support she was able to raise enough money to buy a new sewing machine so she can restart her sewing business in egypt and have a source of income! below are photos she sent me which she asked me to post ❤️

however, she still needs help. when she evacuated gaza, her husband stayed behind. understandably she's extremely worried for him, and her son omar is very attached to him and is suffering a lot without him there. i can only imagine how difficult it is trying to care for a young autistic child completely by yourself, worried that your entire family could die at any second.

please help doaa raise enough money to evacuate her husband when its possible. this will also help support her parents and six siblings who are still trapped in gaza.

Hello all I am Doaa Jad Al Haq from Gaza I studied a diploma in fashion design and clothing manufacturing at the Palestine Technical College in Deir al-Balah and graduated with a very good grade. I was first in my class during the two years. I worked for a year in a center affiliated with UNRWA, and after that I created my own project and began Palestinian agricultural hand embroidery, which is part of the Palestinian heritage. I embroidered on clothes and bags, then After that, I focused more on making bags in all their forms. I embroidered the bag with different drawings, shapes, and colors, then I completely detailed it. I had my own workshop. Unfortunately, everything was gone from the beginning of October 7, so the occupation destroyed the place where I was working, and by destroying my house, I had nothing left, and during the last four months, I borrowed money from a friend to leave Gaza with my autistic child. The situation was very bad for him and for all of us. I left behind my husband and my family. Now, with your help and generosity, I hope that you will help me buy a machine and the necessary tools to start my project again in Egypt so that I can treat my child and help my family. Memories of my formative years and the countless lives I touched during my tenure at Al-Shifa 😣and other medical facilities, such as Friends of the Patient Hospital and the Indonesian Hospital, overwhelmed me as I struggled to come to terms with the upheaval.😔😥

Despite the adversities that besieged me,

I held fast to my dream of becoming a successful doctor. 😀😁✌💚

I was fortunate enough to study medicine at Al-Azhar University, from which I graduated and later served as a teaching assistant, imparting knowledge to aspiring medical students with unwavering dedication. 😀🙏🖤

The idea of specializing in internal medicine drew me back to Al-Shifa Hospital, but sadly,

the brutal war destroyed it, shattering my hopes.In the midst of the chaos and destruction brought by war🥺😣💔

I sustained multiple injuries and narrowly escaped with my life. 🥺

The sanctuary of my home, a place of peace and beautiful memories, was completely destroyed, leaving my family and me impoverished and homeless. 😣💔😰

Yet, amidst the ruins, a glimmer of hope persists as I continue my work at Al-Aqsa Hospital😀, extending a helping hand to those in need without expecting anything in return. I draw strength from the humanity and love instilled in me by my teachers and mentors during my years of education and service.✌😁❤

i have 24 hours left (august 3rd, 11:59pm PST) until my phone service is cut and until the 5th for the internet. after both get shut off, any and all communication will be severed. 🥗 ignored my last message to him about the situation, like i figured he would. on our own.

hi its mo and im about to be houseless and not in the "i escaped my abusive household" way! we've been served papers (EXTREMELY LATE MIGHT I ADD) that were only found this morning by a family member. i censored out info just for a bit of privacy but if you need/want proof before sending a donation our way dm me.

I'm Abdelrahman, 22 years old. My journey has been marked by loss and resilience. When I was 18, my father passed away from COVID-19. Determined to build my own future, I pursued an education in multimedia technology, balancing my studies with work to cover my expenses. I was preparing to establish my home and life.

My mother: the princess whom we strive to make happy and satisfy. ❤️️

However, the war in Gaza, especially in the north, brought devastating tragedy. My home, university, job, and family were all destroyed in the conflict. While my family moved to the south, I was in the north, facing famine and moving from place to place, trying to survive.

Our street used to be lively and full of people, but it is no longer like that.

I have witnessed countless difficult and painful scenes while escaping death multiple times. In northern Gaza, life is reduced to a cycle of fleeing from danger and searching for food amidst the rubble of destroyed homes.

I have survived many times,I was hit by a missile in previously destroyed house

My dream is to travel abroad with my mother and sister to continue my education and develop my practical skills. For the past eight months, I have been unemployed, focusing on self-improvement and hoping for a better future.
